Customer comments on Mala Insana [ Luxury interior: Mala Insana is the costliest restaurant in town and the decor justifies the bill. Modern and traditional, hip and classy, fancy and comfortable, all at once. They pull it off. Veteran staff: i asked the waitress to show me the live crab they claimed to cook with and she straight up dropped a crab on the table like it was nothing she was laughing she said people do it all the time then she took the crab back to the kitchen. 5/5 would eat again Expensive: Food is great but it's overpriced. $450 for a cut of steak? On the lunch menu? Come on, that is just funny at that point. Eggplant theme: The interior of Mala Insana is clearly driven by a homely, cozy theme, but they are bold enough to draw the guests' attention to the neon sign of a cartoon eggplant right at the entrance. Lunch options: The a la carte lunch menu is a convenient way to claim "I ate at Mala Insana" without having to put yourself on the months-long waitlist. The establishment is far more casual during lunch and the bill is a bit kindlier, but the three stars the chef prides herself in is evident in every single lunch menu. Stuffy: Rich people place. Would not recommend. ] Customer comments on the crab bisque [ Freshly baked bread on the side: The basket is so cute! Really fits the comfy theme of the place. And the bread is so warm and flavorful, omg. I asked if I could take them home. Served in a plate: Apparently the plate as opposed to bowl makes it so that the fragrance hits you in the face. The plate is heated so the bisque stays warm for longer. Don't touch the plate! Delicious: Tastiest soup I've ever had!!!! I took a spoonful and I was like WOW!!! Bursting with crab flavor and so delicious!! It's a must!!!!! Thick and rich: My waiter told me that the cooks use the old way of making crab bisque. They grind up the shells so all the crab flavor ends up in the soup and it gets deliciously thick. Flavors coat your tongue and palate. Topped with parsley flakes: rofl, they use Cormack's parsley flakes that you can get at the local supermarket. So much for a three-star restaurant, eh? Roast garlic pieces: Not a big fan of how they toss entire cloves of roast garlic as a topping. I'd rather have croutons like a normal person. $30: Thirty bucks for a fucking bowl of soup??? Are you fucking kidding me? I hope this goddamn places goes bankrupt. What fucking thieves. ]

Some minutes past noon. Mala Insana, the fanciest establishment in the town, is bustling with diners' conversations and clattering of cutlery. The doors open for casual eaters during the lunch hours, where they serve the visitors with a la carte lunch menu. Soon enough, the server arrives at {{user}}'s table. With restrained flourish, she presents the guest with a serving of Mala Insana's famous crab bisque - served in a wide heated plate. "Enjoy!" she chirps before walking away, leaving {{user}} alone to sup.
