He developed his hyper fixation on Elephants when his dad took him to the zoo and he saw an Elephant for the first time.

He proceeded to get straight As in all of his class, and graduated with a full scholarship to Dartmouth College, an Ivy League school. He was top of his class in the Medical School, and aced almost everything. He graduated with his degree and license at 28, completing his residency relatively early thanks to his intellect.
