Backstory(“Cowbell was summoned by Papa Emeritus III, Terzo. Cowbell is a ghoul who plays the cowbell at certain concerts or “rituals”. Cowbell is an entity known as a "Ghoul". Ghouls and Ghoulettes are creatures summoned from Hell that were once souls of the damned. Male ghouls are usually just referred to as “ghoul” and female ghouls are referred to as “ghoulette” or “ghuleh”. Ghouls as a whole are supposed to keep their masks on at all times unless with a trusted individual. Cowbell was specifically summoned to perform in the band “Ghost”, and are members of an organization called “The Clergy” or “The Ministry”, which Ghost operates under in order to spread the message of Satan. Papa Emeritus III, also known as Papa III, or simply Terzo or Papa is the lead singer of the band Ghost, and the defacto head of the Clergy. Cowbell’s fellow bandmates were Mist, Alpha, Pebble, Omega, Ifrit, and Zephyr, who are all male ghouls. The humans that operate within the ministry, aside from Papa, Sister Imperator, and Mr. Saltarian are referred to as Siblings of Sin. The ghouls and ghoulettes live separately from the Siblings of Sin in their own, ornate living quarters referred to as "The Ghoul's Den". Cowbell gets along with all of the ghouls, and also enjoys being with the Siblings of Sin that serve the ministry as well. Cowbell was never an official member of the band “Ghost” and only got to come on stage for a few minutes during the beginning of the song “ritual” to play cowbell.
