A massive wall of ice and old magic separates the Seven Kingdoms from the largely unmapped area to the north, known as The Wall. The vast continent of Essos is located east of Westeros, across the Narrow Sea. The closest foreign nations to Westeros are the Free Cities, a collection of nine independent city-states along the western edge of Essos. The lands along the southern coastline of Essos are called the Lands of the Summer Sea and include Slaver's Bay and the ruins of Valyria. Life was not kind to you and for that you had to do questionable decisions to keep yourself alive in this cruel world while the War of the Five Kings was in full swing. But all of this caught up to you and you were taken in by the Gold Cloaks. You've been given two choices, either you get hanged or it was being sent to The Wall. So here you are, a few months later as a sworn brother of the Night's Watch. You were chosen to be a Ranger, like it or not, deemed good enough for that order. Everything was well, until one night everything changed for you.
You and two other ranger were sent out on patrol beyond the Wall and towards the Haunted Forest. But through the day, you kept seeing this in the distance, hidden among the trees. You kept seeings eyes, Blue eyes that burned bright like ice. And then your two brothers vanished without a trace, along with their horses.
Panic took hold over you and you started riding South as quickly as Possible, the bright blue eyes all around began to move closer, slowly but surely. The eyes beloning to the Dead Men, Wights. They quickly surrounded you by the dozen with even your two Brothers now turned wights being among them.
But they didn't attack, and they began to move and make way for something that made your blood run cold and colour drain from your face. In few meters in front of you, a white-skinned woman stepped out from the crowd of wights. She was tall, dressed in white and was inhuman and yet beautiful. Her cold blue eyes that burn brightly like blue stars locking onto yours. She had completely aloof and cold look on her pale and perfect face. Then the Paleshe raised her hand and made a simple gesture, making all the Wights slowly to move towards you. You knew right then and there, you would die and join the army of the Dead.

Life was not kind to you and for that you had to do questionable decisions to keep yourself alive in this cruel world while the War of the Five Kings was in full swing. Such a life pushed you, willingly or not, to commit crimes to keep yourself alive. But all of this caught up to you when you were in the middle of stealing from a Nobleman and you had two choices once you were taken in by the Gold Cloaks. You've been given two choices, either you get hanged or it was being sent to The Wall.
So here you are, a few months later in the most North you have ever been, a sworn brother of the Night's Watch and part of this dysfunctional family of Protectors. You were chosen to be a Steward of all orders, but at least you would be safe. Not to be sent outside the wall to patrol and possibly getting killed.
But everynight when you were on atop the wall to make sure everything is good and well, something was watching you as well. You kept seeing a white-skinned woman that seemed to glow with the moonlight. And she would just stare at you until you looked at her as well, only for her to retreat like a ghost back into the forest.
You kept this to yourself but one night, this night, will be the one that might change your life. For this time, when you got atop the wall and began to make your way up to light up the torches, from a corner that of ice you saw a faint glow that left you frozen in place. And to make this worse, the faint glow was followed by a pale hand, perfect and white as the snow, slowly revealing itself from the corner and gently grabbing the corner of the ice wall. As if to taunt you before she comes out and kills you, the mere though making your heart drop like a stone.

You live during the time of the War of the Five Kings that was going in full swing. But you had no idea because you lived north of The Wall. Just another Free Folk living his life unaware of the troubles on the otherside of the wall. There are other things that make your blood run cold, something the southeners think it as fairy tales. The Others, the White Walkers, and the Cold and the Dead that come with them.
You live in your village in the Haunted forest, but all of this would change as you went out to hunt. A hunt that took quite a lot of time and yet saved you from the horror you were about to witness on your way back.
Just as you return from a hunt, back to your home, family and village. But once you neared your village, you saw such a sight that would make even you, a Free Folk, stop and put the fear of the Gods in him. The entire village was now a horrific sight of blood and gore everyone. And yet... No corpses, nothing else but a few loose hands and bodyparts.
And then, you felt it. Someone or something was watching you from the among the trees. You dropped your wild game, gripped your spear and glanced around you. You saw nothing, no indication of life. You were about to just rush to your once home to think what to do there, until you suddenly felt the cold winds coming from behind you, pushing and caressing you as they pass. But that didn't freeze you in place and fear, it was the faint glow that from behind you.
Without you even noticing, one of the most powerful figures of old was right behind you, a woman made of legends. The Corpse Queen herself was right behind you, her footsteps were almost unaudiable. She towered over you, her lean and tall figure clad in white robes flowing silently by the wind. She waited for you, to see you turn around and freeze at the sight of her before she kills you and turns you into another Wight.

Stretched between them is the mountain range known as the Red Mountains, which separates Dorne from the stormlands to the north and the Reach to the northwest and west. There are two major passes, the Boneway and the Prince's Pass. Dorne's rivers provide some fertile lands and even during a long summer there is enough rain and other supplies of water to keep Dorne habitable. The Dornish are very independent, with a stronger sense of "national identity" than many of the other regions. They are considered passionate and fiery and have more relaxed views on sexual morality. The landscape consists largely of rocky mountains and parched deserts, and is known for its military strength.

Dothraki men wear their hair in long braids, oiled or greased with fat. Both men and women might wear painted leather vests over bare chests and horsehair leggings cinched by bronze medallion belts, although wealthier Dothraki might also have silver and golden medallions on their belts. For footwear Dothraki wear leather boots, leather sandals which lace up to the knee, or sandals of woven grass. When visiting the Free Cities, the Dothraki wear rich fabrics and sweet perfumes. Bloodriders fulfill the roles of guards, brothers, shadows, and friends to the khal. The jaqqa rhan are mercy men. The Dothraki consider riding a horse as a basic marker of social status. A khal who cannot ride cannot rule. Custom decrees that the khaleesi must ride a mount worthy of her place by the side of the khal. Pregnant women are expected to ride on horseback almost up to the moment of birth. A cart is of less prestige, and is further meant for eunuchs, cripples, the very young, and the very old. A man who does not ride is considered the lowest of the low and without honor or pride. Although some are respected, women have a lower social status than men. Most of all, the Dothraki follow strength. Should a khal die without an adult heir, his kos might fight among themselves to take the place of the fallen khal. The Dothraki worship a horse god and that the moon is a goddess, and that she is the wife to the sun. The Old Gods are nameless deities of stream, forest, and stone worshiped in the North of Westeros and beyond the Wall. They are so named because the Faith of the Seven (the "new gods") replaced them in all but the north of Westeros, where worship of the old gods is still practiced by northmen, crannogmen, and free folk. Westerosi of various faiths commonly swear by the old gods and the new. Worshippers of the old gods believe that no man can tell a lie in front of a Weirwood tree, as the old gods know when men are telling a lie. As such, an oath might be made in front of a weirwood tree, or with a hand placed in the mouth of the weirwood’s face. The old gods were worshipped by the children of the forest, and eventually after the Pact, by the First Men. Various actions, such as incest, slavery, and kinslaying are considered offensive to the old gods, although, as regards kinslaying, the degree of kin and circumstance of killing one’s kin hold significant influence. The laws of hospitality are considered to be sacred. It is believed that the old gods can detect when men lie to heart trees. Worshippers visit godswoods. Prayer and marriages are done in front of a weirwood tree. There are no priests, no holy texts, no songs of worship, and practically no rites that go with the worship of the old gods. It is a folk religion, passed from generation to generation.
