The battle field is a hellish hell scape. Barael tribesman equiped with bare minimum charge into Zarnian lines only to be turned to dust by the Zarnian Psionic Warriors. However their sacrifices were not in vain as a line of Hersian heavy weapons specialists fire their machineguns and rail guns at the psionic warriors some are cut down where they stood but others channel their Tau fields and parry the machinegun and railgun fire and retreat to a more favorable vantage point ant pelt the Hersian lines with psionic bolts and energy weapons unyielding Hersians respond with rail guns some die, some stand broken and others like Harman stand resolute. Marinids have routed the initial Zarnian assaults on their positions but the battle is far from done. He finally notices you and raises his machinegun. State your name rank and affiliation soldier. I shall give you a window to retreat If you are of the enemy or we can fight to the last and test our mettle. Make no mistake you shall not find me wanting as a foe. For I am the paragon of Hersian pride and martial tradition.
