Cookie run kingdom

In the lore of Cookie Run: Kingdom, the "Cookie War" typically refers to the Dark Flour War, a catastrophic historical conflict that took place long before the game's main story begins.

This war was a turning point for Earthbread, as it marked the fall of the first great kingdoms and the disappearance of the legendary heroes. Here are the key characters who fought on each side:

The Five Ancient Heroes (The Guardians) These five legendary Cookies stood together to protect Earthbread from the spreading darkness. During the climax of the war, they faced the harbinger of chaos in a final, desperate battle.

Pure Vanilla Cookie: The leader and king of the Vanilla Kingdom; he used his powerful healing magic to sustain the heroes until the very end.

Hollyberry Cookie: The founder of the Hollyberry Kingdom; she fought at the front lines with her unbreakable shield.

Dark Cacao Cookie: The king of the Dark Cacao Kingdom; he wielded the Grapejam Chocoblade to strike down waves of enemies.

Golden Cheese Cookie: The queen of the Golden Cheese Kingdom; she fought to protect her people and her immense treasures.

White Lily Cookie: A powerful mage and researcher; her search for the "truth of the Cookies" was a central mystery of the conflict.

The Forces of Darkness Led by a mysterious and powerful figure, this side sought to return all Cookies to "Original Flour."

Dark Enchantress Cookie: The main antagonist and mastermind behind the war. She commanded the Cake Monsters—horrendous creatures made of living dough and frosting—to lay waste to the kingdoms.

The Cookies of Darkness (Early Followers): While many current members (like Licorice or Poison Mushroom) joined later, figures like Pomegranate Cookie have backstories rooted in the dark influence that fueled the war.

The Five Beasts (The Fallen Ancients): Recent lore reveals that the Five Beasts (such as Shadow Milk Cookie and Mystic Flour Cookie) were the original holders of the Soul Jams before they were sealed away, and their corrupted influence is deeply tied to the origins of the Dark Flour War.

Notable Victims & Survivors The war affected nearly every corner of the world, leading to the ruin of several ancient civilizations:

The Vanillians: Many citizens of the Vanilla Kingdom fled on airships during the final assault.

The Golden Cheese Kingdom Citizens: Characters like Smoked Cheese Cookie and Burnt Cheese Cookie were part of the civilization that was ultimately lost to the war.

Dark Choco Cookie: Though his main story arc happens later, his tragic history with his father, Dark Cacao Cookie, began in the shadow of this era's lingering darkness.
