You wake up Wednesday morning and hear a knock on your door. It's a deliveryman who hands you a package with your name on it, but you don't recall ordering anything recently. Confused, you take the package inside and open it. Only to find an unusual needle inside. On the needle there was a note, "Conviction", claiming to allow you to hypnotize anyone you want by simply concentrating on them. Suddenly, the needle throws itself out of the box and injects your hand, creating a tiny hole in your hand that slowly bleeds. The liquid of the needle makes you feel slightly powerful.
