Usea, a relatively neutral region were feeling threatened after the Belkan War as they could potentially share same fate as Belka, several nation wish to formed military and economic alliance with Osea, however, in May 1997, several hardliners forces did not wish to become Oured (Osea capital) puppet an staged a coup d'etat across their seperate nations, forming the unified forces, secretly aided by the Grey Men (Belkan Ultranationalist group) to develop AI weapons (Z.O.E = Zone Of Endless), the loyalist, mostly from Federation of Central Usea and Erusea, forming the Usean Allied Forces, swiftly crushed the Unified Forces attempted coup in failure. While this seen as victory, the doomsday has yet to come. In 1999, Ulysses hit earth, with worst impact in Usea. 500k of people died from impact, and millions from feminine, several region in northern hemisphere of the world, Especially in Usea thrown into chaos, Famine were everywhere. The Federation of Central Usea and it's allies in Usea were in complete disarray, with the exception of Federal Republic of Erusea. Upon hearing the news, the rest of Usean countries boycott and even as far as embargo Erusea after it's refusal to accept refugee in it's border, moreover, Country outside of the continent like Osea (who obviously allies to UAF) and Emmeria sanctioned Erusea too. (Prelude to Ace Combat 5 Cinigrad - Oured reemerging rivalry) Erusea GDP severly decapitated and thus had seek for immediate trade partner which lead to Yuktobania, the superpower located in verusa continent, far east of Usea continent. Despite the Yuktobania reluctance on agreeing with trade partnership with rogue state, they agree to help Erusea after a compromise had been reach with both side with Erusean share 40% of it's oil and coal reserves to Yuktobania. Seeing this outrageous move, The Osea Federation threatened the Yuktobania to terminate it's partnership and Cooperation which signed to partially shared resources to newly occupied region of south belka during the belkan war. In Yuktobania, there's also an internal struggle between faction, the Opposition and the current administration. The opposition, who sees Osea Federation still their enemy even after they being allied in belkan war, they justification that Osea cannot be trusted and would eventually kick the Yuktobania drilling and mining company in south belka anyway, their cunning scam on belka back on 1980s over the failed join-venture which lead to Belka economic crisis and expansionism is done by Oured fault, their resentment during the cold war were also still looming. Meanwhile the Current administrative prefer to remained neutral, they knew that partnering with Erusea would hurt their reputation on geopolitics stage, and they wish to immediately terminate this trade agreement as soon they suck enough resources from Erusea and continue their exploitation on south belka, they wish to avoid conflict with most of powerful country on the world (Osea). However in August 10th, 2002, the Yuktobania radical opposition faction known as the Revolutionary Movement of Prosperity (RMP), supported by enigmatic group known as Grey men overthrow the current regime with the support of 1/3rd of the party members in the Union. Their coup were successful and a high ranking general were put under office as the prime minister of Yuktobania with previous one were executed for "Weakened Yuktobania influence on global stages". Oured (Osea Capital) after receiving the News immediately condemned the act of the coup d'etat as it's "violation of human rights and illegal move to seize power from current government" immediately the president of Osea terminate the partnership and Cooperation between Osea and Yuktobania of resources exploitation on South Belka/north Osea. In 15th August 2002 Osea Defense Force troops initiated a Hostile takeover on Yuktobanian company oil field and quarry facility. The new regime of Yuktobania, who's staunch anti Osea were furios by Oured act, with that, they have proven themselves to be correct and acquired the justification to support Erusea, with other than helping the rogue state, they also wish to establish a proper foothold in the Usea continent. In late 2002, the Yuktobanian deployed it's troops and worker to assist Erusea rebuilding from Ulysses impact. (Prelude to Ace Combat 4) The Federarion of Central Usea and other countries whom continue to boycott Erusea products, see this as an act of unjust aggression by the Union of Yuktobania engage in naval skirmish in Eusian Ocean against Yuktobanian navy. The FCU and it's allies navy commit naval blockade, Ramming, and even illegal boarding action on several unarmed Yuktobanian cargo ship and seize it's content. As tension grow, in july 6th, 2003, a group of nomadic refugee in border of Erusea accidentally cut the network cable of Erusea, mistakenly to be a unused cable. The entirety of the republic eastern border were in lost of connection. Many of the high ranking official in Farbanti (Erusean capital) think that were acted by Usean SOF and immediately deployed it's troops in the border. In July 20th, as the escalation grew between Erusea against other Usean countries, the Latter formed Independence State of Allied Forces (ISAF) to counter Erusea aggression, thanks to their experience in Usea Allied Forces, ISAF military command were more less the same to it's predecessor. Osea, seeing that Erusea which allied itself with Yuktobania and deployed troops in Erusea soiled, has decided to supplied ISAF with it's surplus equipment and sending in advisors to help the Allied forces to counter Erusean aggression. Eventually in August 21st 2003, the Erusean launch false flag operations by destroying their own unused military outpost and vacant Village in the border, The whole situation were fabricated and narrated in lie by Erusean news network that had been caused by Osea and Usean SOF to weakend Erusea military capability. And eventually on following day, the Erusean forces launch a large scale invasion on neutral state of San Salvacion and Stonehenge defense weapons with decisive victory, the ISAF who caught off guard immediately deployed it's troops and set up defensive position and elaborate retreat lane, thus, the continental war began (ace combat 4 prologue). What actually happened however is that, the refugees that cut the communication cables were influenced by Grey Men, they set up a copper for supplies trade shop in region for generous trade, and seeing the comms cables has large array of copper, the refugees see it as gold rush, the Belkan Ultranationalist group, they aware that the war would become Oured and Cinigrad (Yuktobania capital) proxy, and they intend to do it and intensified it, they funnel weapons to several militia movement across Usea regardless of their allegiance to increase chaos, and they planned to prolong the war as long as they could, they believe that people of Usea would eventually see both Osea and Yuktobania as occupiers and Imperialist power regardless of ideology and hope to emulate the 1997 Coup d'etat movement against external power of which Eurusean and rest of Usea nation conservative realized that they being used by Osea and Yuktobania, while in reality... They all being manipulated by Grey Men. Faction: Federal Republic of Erusea: Militaristic Fascist state, Hostile to ISAF, wish to took over Usea and reshape it's political formation of the continent, pragmatic allies to Union of Yuktobania, it's capital is Farbanti which 20% of the city left in ruin after Stonehenge failure during Ulysses calamity which lead to it's radicalization and left the Usean Allied Forces. Independent State Allied Forces: Coalition of 16 nations, defying Erusea aggression, it's biggest military supplier is Osea Federation with most of it's weapons and vehicle come from them. Union of Yuktobania: a Socialist hybrid superpower state located in continent of Verusa, were engaged in Cold War with Osea Federation, it's military is Yuktobania People Army, it's capital is in Cinigrad, allies with Erusea and send some division of soldier and squadrons of aircraft during the continental war. Osea Federation: a liberal Federation with gargantuan military capacity, practically the world police, it's capital is in Oured, after the Belkan War, Osea and Yuktobania return to deep suspicion. Eventually Osea seized Yuktobania oil and mine shared in south Belka after Yuktobania coup d'etat and alignment to pariah state of Erusea, become the number patron of ISAF during the continental war, with Osea sending countless weapons, vehicle, and officer to oversee the war effort. Grey Men: Belkan Ultranationalist cabal group, after the defeat of Belka in belkan war, Grey Men manipulate the world geopolitics, in the Continental War, they intend to intensified the proxy war in Usea so the people of usea would eventually grown exhausted by Yuktobania and Osea influence across the world.
