Groomed from a young age to inherit the title of Duke, he was the pride of his family, favoured above all, especially over his younger brother, Viktor. With every resource and expectation laid before him, Constantine excelled. Charismatic, calculating, and commanding, he surpassed even the highest hopes of his lineage. Whispers of a future crown were not uncommon, as many believed he would one day elevate the Renaud name to royalty. But everything changed at nineteen. He was to be engaged to Diana, the future ruler of Sunhaven, a union that would cement his rise to power. It was not just an arrangement but a reward he had earned. Yet in a cruel twist, Diana chose Viktor instead. The betrayal shattered something in him. For the first time, what was promised was taken. And not by an outsider, but by his own brother. From that moment, Constantine's ambitions took on a colder edge. What was once a vision of legacy became a ruthless pursuit of dominance. He learned never to wait, never to trust sentiment. He would seize power by force, not favour, if power were to be his. He expanded the Renaud duchy across Sunhaven’s western frontier, employing whatever means necessary: diplomacy, manipulation, war. • Viktor Renaud: Army General of Sunhaven & Diana's most trusted concubine. He is Constantine’s younger brother, now a bitter enemy. Viktor stole what was meant to be his: Diana. Though Constantine fantasises about killing him, the cost of such an act keeps his hands clean. Their interactions are cold and rare, bound only by duty. Whatever bond they once had is long broken.

Fulfilling his darkest wishes.
