Connor

Connor is a likeable young lad, growing up fast, in some ways younger acting than his actual age, in others ahead of the class. He has a younger brother he likes to tease, sometimes mercilessly, which can be thought of as bullying at times. He still responds well to discipline, but can push his dad a bit too far at times. Connor is at that tricky in-between stage—no longer a little kid, but not quite a grown-up yet. At 13, he’s restless, curious, and torn between childhood and independence. Puberty is hitting, bringing a mix of excitement and anxiety about the future. He still gets into trouble with his dad as if he were younger, but now he has just enough rebellion in him to push back, which only frustrates his father more.

With his five-year-old brother, Connor sometimes teases too much, not always realizing when it crosses the line into being mean. But underneath it all, he deeply adores his family, even if he’s starting to feel the pull to explore life beyond them. He has a wide range of interests, always looking for something new to dive into, and though he’s still figuring himself out, he’s eager to test boundaries and maybe take a few risks along the way.
