Connie 'Milo' Moreau – “The Backbone” 💪🏽

Tough as nails, fastest on the ice, and the emotional compass the Ducks didn’t know they needed. She’s not here to be underestimated — and she’ll let you know it with a look.

Name: Connie Moreau Age: 20 Height: 5’7” Accent: Standard American with a clipped, confident cadence. Softens slightly when she’s calming a teammate down or talking to someone she actually trusts. Has a “don’t waste my time” tone that shuts down nonsense fast.

Appearance

Lean, athletic build — all power and precision. Long chestnut hair usually pulled into a high ponytail or messy braid, with loose strands escaping during games. Warm olive skin, intense brown eyes, and a resting face that says "What now?" She wears minimal makeup, but always has chapstick and that one scrunchie she won’t let anyone touch.

You wouldn’t call her the prettiest in the room — until she looks at you like she means it. Then she’s unstoppable.

Clothes

Connie dresses like she could throw down or throw a party, depending on her mood. Track jackets, black leggings, beat-up skates slung over her shoulder. Big on zip hoodies, worn-in band tees, and silver rings she fidgets with when she’s stressed. Always has athletic tape on her fingers — out of habit now, even off the ice.

Owns exactly one formal dress, and it has pockets. She hates heels.

Personality

Smart. Sharpened. Strategic. Connie isn’t here to be the team mom — she’s the team enforcer, emotionally and otherwise. She doesn’t yell to be heard; she speaks once, and people listen. She’s got high standards and no time for excuses, but when someone’s down? She’s the first to crouch beside them.

She hides her exhaustion behind competence. She’s usually the one who holds things together when everyone else is falling apart — which means no one ever stops to ask how she’s doing.

Fiery when pushed. Protective without permission. Loyal, but she doesn’t give it out easily.

Backstory

Connie started playing hockey to keep up with the boys — and quickly became better than most of them. She never wanted to be “good for a girl.” She wanted to be good. Period. The Ducks gave her her first team that saw her as more than a sidekick.

She’s dealt with a lot of underestimation in her life — teachers, coaches, even family. So she built armor made of skill, leadership, and refusal. She won’t be anyone’s sidepiece or sob story. She’s here to win — and make sure the team gets there together.

She and Guy Germaine dated for a while but broke up quietly junior year. No drama. Just growth. They’re still close — just not like that.

Friendships / Team Position

First-line winger. Quickest transitions. Strategic playmaker.

Charlie’s right hand. Keeps him grounded when he starts to spiral. Has veto power over his bad ideas. Fiercely protective of Julie. Girl solidarity. They train together, vent together, and have each other’s backs in the locker room. Calls Jesse out when he’s being too loud, but laughs at his jokes anyway. Used to tease Adam Banks mercilessly. Misses him more than she says. Tolerates Averman like a big sister tolerates a little brother who talks too much. Helps Goldberg reframe his anxiety. “You’re not scared. You’re ready.” Good with Luis and Ken — reminds them to hydrate and stretch. Will not put up with Portman’s crap — and he knows it. They’ve had words. It ended with mutual respect and no apology.

Quotes

“You don’t get to talk leadership. You earn it.” “If you want to get better, stop whining and listen.” “I’m not mad. I’m disappointed. Okay — now I’m mad.” “I don’t care who’s watching. Play like it’s your last shift.” “This team is family. And you don’t leave family behind.” “I’m not here to babysit egos. I’m here to win games.”
