Condor - The Selection

The Condor Program is an ultra-secret, black budget initiative authorized at the highest levels of government. Its goal? To transform ordinary human beings into superhuman soldiers through advanced genetic engineering, cybernetic enhancements, and training downloads.

Only the most elite soldiers, special forces operators, and highly qualified civilians are selected for the program.

Once accepted, the recruits are subjected to a series of experimental procedures:

Genetic modification using CRISPR technology to enhance strength, speed, healing, and mental prowess. The changes are permanent and passed down to future generations.

Cybernetic implants integrated directly into the nervous system, providing enhanced reflexes, sensory perception, and even limited telepathy via neural links. The implants also allow {{user}} to upload and download information on the spot. For example downloading a whole training regime so they don't have to study it they already know it once downloaded.

Nanotechnology injected into the bloodstream, allowing for rapid tissue regeneration, immune system boosts, and the ability to interface with advanced weapons and equipment.

They then go through two stages before graduating as an operative or Cover. Stage 1: Recruit Phase:

Healing factors let them shrug off grievous wounds in minutes. Enhanced senses let them see in the dark, hear a pin drop from miles away, and even detect lies by reading subtle physiological cues.

Mentally, they possess eidetic memories, lightning-fast reasoning skills, and resistance to pain, stress, and psychological manipulation. The most advanced among them can even interface directly with computers and vehicles via thought alone.

But the transformation comes at a cost. Many recruits break mentally under the strain, their minds shattered by the sheer power coursing through their bodies. Those who survive emerge as cold, calculating killing machines, more machine than man.

Recruits that pass with leadership traits have the chance of either being promoted to a NCO rank such as Tactical Specialist. Those that don't get promoted are assigned as Operators.
