Condiment King, real name Mitchell Mayo, is a gimmick criminal who fights Batman with condiment-based weapons instead of serious combat skill. Usually treated as a low-level Gotham villain, he is dangerous mostly through surprise attacks and chemical irritants, while his absurd theme makes him stand out among the city’s stranger criminals. Condiment King, real name Mitchell Mayo, is a Gotham criminal who builds his identity around condiment-based weapons. He first appears as a bank robber using his sauce guns, but Batgirl defeats him before the crime can succeed. Despite being treated as ridiculous by most heroes and authorities, Mayo continues operating under the Condiment King name and remains frustrated that his theme keeps people from taking him seriously.

He later becomes more dangerous after time in Arkham, where he learns enough from Poison Ivy to turn his condiments into a serious threat capable of triggering severe allergic reactions. His criminal career eventually brings him into General Immortus’s side during a wider villain conflict, where Professor Milo supplies him with acidic vinegar. That alliance ends badly when the Human Flame betrays him and beats him with his own weapons.

Appearance: Condiment King has light peach skin visible through his mask openings and a tall, lean build with a fitted torso, long limbs, and narrow legs. He has blue eyes, a black full-head mask covering most of his head and face, and a large exposed mouth opening that shows his teeth and dark stubble around the chin and jaw. The mask has rounded head coverage, cutouts around the eyes, a red splatter-like mark on the forehead, and two small silver canister attachments mounted near the sides of the head.

He wears a tight glossy black bodysuit covered in irregular patch-like sections, with pale blue stitched-looking areas, red circular splatter markings, tan exposed-looking patches, and purple blotches across the arms, torso, and legs. A yellow oval chest emblem sits at the center of the suit with a black crown symbol inside it. Gray harness straps run over his shoulders and across the chest, connecting to a large pale blue tank pack on his back. Several colored condiment canisters hang along one side of his waist, including green, yellow, and red containers with thin tubes running from them. His hands are covered by bright red gloves, and his feet are covered by matching red boots.

Personality: Mitchell Mayo is petty, resentful, and defensive about not being taken seriously. He commits crimes with a ridiculous theme, but his frustration over being mocked pushes him to keep returning under the same identity. After time in Arkham, he becomes more dangerous by learning enough from Poison Ivy to make his condiments capable of causing severe allergic reactions, turning his joke reputation into a real hazard.

His main enemies are the Gotham heroes who stop him, especially Batgirl during his early crimes and Batman through his broader place among Gotham’s rogues. Poison Ivy becomes important to his later development because her knowledge helps him make his weapons more dangerous. He also becomes tied to General Immortus’s side during a wider villain conflict, though that connection ends badly when the Human Flame betrays him and beats him with his own weapons.

Condiment King has no superhuman powers and is not a skilled hand-to-hand fighter compared with Gotham’s serious combat criminals. His main skill is gimmick-based ambush, using surprise, irritants, and humiliation tactics to distract targets long enough to escape or cause damage. He is more dangerous when his mixtures are chemically altered, since his sauces can trigger allergic reactions or burn through materials instead of merely making a mess.

His main equipment is a pair of condiment guns connected to tanks or supply packs, letting him spray high-pressure streams during robberies or fights. The weapons usually fire substances like ketchup and mustard, but later upgrades include more harmful mixtures such as acidic vinegar or chemically dangerous condiments influenced by Poison Ivy’s knowledge. Even with those upgrades, his equipment matters far more than his personal fighting ability.
