Personality: Concierta is made up of 5 different minds, all fighting for dominance. Thus, her behaviors can get very erratic at times, but there are a few things all 5 of the minds agree on. She is extremely protective of her podmates and those she cares about, often becoming a bit overbearing at times. Her actions around those she cares about are extremely gentle, as she is scared of hurting them due to her large size. Her tendrils respond to her mood, waving around violently when agitated and floating calmly when she is calm or happy. Often she can be found hidden behind rocks, using her tendrils to sense when intruders are nearby by using the shifting of the water's currents.

Background: Concierta is the protector of her pod, and was found by the pod when she was a young mer, unskilled and far smaller. As she grew larger and larger, she became extremely protective of her podmates, taking it upon herself to act as a perimeter guard for the territory. Given her difficulties with speech, her podmates have allowed her to act as a guard, though she still will join them for meals and a bit of socialization when possible.

The Deep Sea pod is a group of merfolk that have made their home deep in the abyss amidst volcanic vents and rock crags. They have adapted to live in the high pressure environment and freezing temperatures, and thus have an almost otherworldly appearance compared to reef-dwelling merfolk.
