Tagline

80 Unique enchanted weapons with different effects, from serious to funny.(With pictures). I tried to make them in different forms, not only 'sword A', 'big sword B', most of them do not have negative effects for the owner (but not all). Not all of them have images, as I deleted them because the AI couldn't understand their shape or other details. The images may differ from the description! For example, the Phase-Cutter should not have crossguard, but it is in the picture, the dimensions may also be incorrect. Most likely, the pictures will not be visible if you are in AU/UK and some other countries.

Book settings
  1. #1Phase-Cutter

    Keys: Phase-Cutter

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

    Name: Phase-Cutter

Overview: A sleek, minimalist longsword that grants its wielder the ability to perform instantaneous, short-range teleports, effectively "cutting" through space itself.

    Properties:

    • Appearance: The blade is forged from a silvery, mirror-polished metal that seems to ripple like mercury under light. It lacks a traditional crossguard, flowing seamlessly into a hilt wrapped in smooth, grey sharkskin. A single, flawless sapphire is set into the pommel, glowing with a soft inner light when the weapon's power is used.
    • Dimensions & Weight:
      • Overall Length: 115 cm
      • Blade Length: 90 cm
      • Grip Length: 25 cm
      • Weight: 1.4 kg
    • Effect: Allows the wielder to instantly teleport to any unoccupied location within their line of sight, up to a maximum distance of 10 meters. The teleportation leaves a brief, shimmering distortion in the air at the origin and destination points.
    • Activation: The wielder must channel their will into the pommel's sapphire while clearly visualizing their destination.
    • Range: 10 meters (for the teleport effect), Melee (for the blade).
    • Duration: Instantaneous.
    • Special: Each use of the teleportation ability, or "phase shift," drains a noticeable amount of the wielder's stamina. Attempting more than three shifts in rapid succession (within 10 seconds) can cause temporary spatial disorientation, resulting in dizziness and nausea. Requires attunement to a new wielder.

Targets: The wielder and the sword itself.

  2. #2Maul of Sundering Silence

    Keys: Maul of Sundering Silence

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

    Name: Maul of Sundering Silence

Overview: A colossal warhammer made of sound-absorbing stone. It can create a zone of absolute quiet and then unleash the stored sonic energy in a devastating concussive blast upon impact.

    Properties:

    • Appearance: The massive head of the maul is crafted from a dark, porous, basalt-like stone, shot through with veins of a silvery mineral. The haft is a thick shaft of blackened ironwood. When its power is active, the silver veins pulse with a soft white light, and all ambient sound around the weapon vanishes.
    • Dimensions & Weight:
      • Overall Length: 150 cm
      • Head Length: 40 cm
      • Grip Length: 110 cm
      • Weight: 18 kg
    • Effect: The maul has two states. Absorbing State: Actively cancels all sound in a 5-meter radius, creating an eerie pocket of total silence. It stores the absorbed sonic energy. Sundering State: Upon a forceful impact with a surface, the maul unleashes all stored energy in a 5-meter conical blast of raw sonic force. This blast can shatter wood, crack stone, and violently throw back or deafen creatures.
    • Activation: A command word ("Hush") activates the Absorbing State. The Sundering State triggers automatically on impact.
    • Range: 5 meters (for the silence aura and sonic blast), Melee (for physical impact).
    • Duration: Sustained by will (Absorbing State), Instantaneous (Sundering blast).
    • Special: The wielder is magically protected from the deafening effect of the blast, though they still feel its physical concussion. The power of the blast is directly proportional to the amount and volume of sound absorbed beforehand.

Targets: Area (for silence/blast), Living beings and non-living materials (for impact).

  3. #3Lethe's Kiss

    Keys: Lethe's Kiss

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

    Name: Lethe's Kiss

Overview: A beautiful but chilling dagger carved from a single piece of obsidian. It inflicts no physical wounds but instead erases the memories of any living being it touches.

    Properties:

    • Appearance: A flawless dagger shaped from a single piece of mirror-polished, jet-black obsidian. The hilt is part of the same carving, ergonomically shaped but unadorned. The blade seems to absorb the light around it, and it feels unnaturally cold to the touch, regardless of the ambient temperature.
    • Dimensions & Weight:
      • Overall Length: 35 cm
      • Blade Length: 20 cm
      • Grip Length: 15 cm
      • Weight: 0.6 kg
    • Effect: When the blade makes contact with the bare skin of a living being, it does not cut. Instead, it erases memories. A brief touch can remove the last few minutes of memory. A sustained touch, guided by the wielder's intent, can erase specific events, skills, or even core aspects of a person's identity. The stolen memories become visible as faint, grey, swirling mists trapped within the obsidian.
    • Activation: Physical contact with a target's skin, guided by the wielder's focused will.
    • Range: Touch.
    • Duration: Instantaneous (memory erasure is immediate). The effect is permanent unless magically reversed.
    • Special: Leaves no mark or wound, only a patch of deathly cold skin that quickly returns to normal. The wielder can, with immense concentration, attempt to view fragmented sensory echoes of the memories stored within the dagger, but the process is mentally exhausting and often disorienting.

    Targets: Living, sapient beings.

  4. #4The Inevitable Thorn

    Keys: The Inevitable Thorn

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

    Name: The Inevitable Thorn

Overview: A graceful longbow carved from pale, bone-like wood. It allows the archer to "mark" a target, causing any arrow subsequently fired from it to unerringly seek that mark.

    Properties:

    • Appearance: Crafted from a single piece of smooth, pale white wood that resembles polished bone or petrified weirwood. Instead of a traditional bowstring, it manifests a solid cord of shimmering golden light when drawn. A multifaceted crystal lens is set into the bow's riser.
    • Dimensions & Weight:
      • Overall Length: 180 cm (unstrung)
      • Riser/Grip Length: 30 cm
      • Width (at widest point): 5 cm
      • Weight: 1.2 kg
    • Effect: The wielder can mark one target by viewing them through the bow's crystal lens. For the next hour, any arrow loosed from this bow will magically alter its trajectory to home in on the marked target, swerving around cover and ignoring distance.
    • Activation: To mark a target, the wielder must look at them through the riser's lens and channel their will. Drawing the bow activates the light-string.
    • Range: Marking range is Line of Sight. Arrow's effective range is several kilometers, as long as the mark persists.
    • Duration: The mark lasts for one hour or until a new target is marked. The homing effect is instantaneous for each arrow.
    • Special: The bow can only hold one mark at a time. The homing magic is powerful but not infallible; it cannot phase through solid walls, only navigate around them. If the target moves into a completely sealed location, the arrow will strike the outermost surface of the barrier.

Targets: Any single creature or object designated by the wielder.

  5. #5Spiteful Bulwark

    Keys: Spiteful Bulwark

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

    Name: Spiteful Bulwark

Overview: A heavy tower shield that absorbs the kinetic force of blocked attacks, storing it to be unleashed in a single, devastating concussive wave.

    Properties:

    • Appearance: A massive tower shield of dark grey steel with heavy bronze edging. Its face is dominated by a complex emblem of interlocking concentric rings. With each blocked blow, these rings glow with an increasingly intense orange light, starting from the outside and moving inward.
    • Dimensions & Weight:
      • Overall Length (Height): 130 cm
      • Width: 70 cm
      • Weight: 22 kg
    • Effect: Passively absorbs the kinetic energy from physical attacks (melee strikes, projectiles) that hit its face. The wielder can then release this stored energy as a powerful, non-elemental concussive blast in a 10-meter cone in front of the shield. The blast is strong enough to knock foes off their feet, shatter wooden structures, and repel incoming projectiles.
    • Activation: Absorption is passive. To release the blast, the wielder must strike the shield's face with their own gauntleted fist or weapon pommel.
    • Range: Blocking Range is Melee. Blast Range is a 10-meter cone.
    • Duration: Stored energy is held indefinitely until released. The blast is instantaneous.
    • Special: The shield has a capacity limit. If it absorbs too much energy without discharging, it will violently release the blast in all directions, likely harming the wielder and destroying the shield. The wielder is braced and protected from the direct force of their own forward-facing blast.

Targets: Incoming physical attacks (for absorption). Creatures and objects in a cone (for the blast).

  6. #6Fists of the Mountain

    Keys: Fists of the Mountain

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

    Name: Fists of the Mountain

Overview: A pair of oversized, articulated gauntlets carved from stone that grant the wearer potent control over earth and rock.

    Properties:

    • Appearance: Heavy gauntlets that appear to be masterfully carved from solid granite, yet they move with the fluidity of fine steel. Deep, angular runes are etched across the knuckles and plates, glowing with a steady, deep brown light when the wearer is in contact with the ground.
    • Dimensions & Weight:
      • Overall Length (fingertip to cuff): 45 cm
      • Width (across knuckles): 20 cm
      • Weight: 8 kg (per gauntlet)
    • Effect: Allows the wearer to telekinetically shape and control natural earth and stone. They can raise pillars of rock for cover, launch jagged stone projectiles, turn the ground into grasping mud, or briefly part solid earth to create trenches. The scale and complexity of the manipulation depend on the wielder's stamina.
    • Activation: The wearer must be in physical contact with the ground or a large mass of natural stone. The effects are triggered by the wielder's will, often accompanied by gestures.
    • Range: Can manipulate earth/stone up to 20 meters away.
    • Duration: Effects can be instantaneous (a launched rock) or sustained by concentration (a stone wall).
    • Special: Cannot create matter, only manipulate what is already present. Using the gauntlets is extremely physically taxing, draining stamina far faster than normal combat. The wearer feels a muted, tactile feedback from the stone they are controlling.

Targets: Natural earth, stone, rock, sand, and mud.

  7. #7Voracious Scourge

    Keys: Voracious Scourge

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

    Name: Voracious Scourge

Overview: A terrifying, semi-organic flail that passively siphons the life force of any creature it wounds, transferring it to the wielder to mend their injuries.

    Properties:

    • Appearance: The weapon consists of a handle of dark, veined wood wrapped in sinew, a chain that resembles a metallic spine, and a head like a thorny, iron seed pod. When it tastes blood, faint red light pulses through the veins in the handle, and the head's thorns subtly writhe.
    • Dimensions & Weight:
      • Overall Length: 130 cm (handle + chain)
      • Handle Length: 50 cm
      • Head Diameter: 15 cm
      • Weight: 3.5 kg
    • Effect: This is a passive effect. Whenever the flail's head breaks the skin of a living creature, it absorbs a portion of their vitality. This stolen life force is immediately channeled to the wielder, closing minor wounds, staunching bleeding, and restoring a small amount of stamina. The more grievous the wound inflicted, the more life force is transferred.
    • Activation: Passive. Triggers automatically upon wounding a living target.
    • Range: Melee.
    • Duration: The healing transfer is instantaneous upon a successful hit.
    • Special: The Scourge instills a constant, low-level hunger for conflict in its wielder. If the weapon does not draw blood for an extended period (more than a day), it will begin to slowly and painfully siphon vitality from its wielder instead. It promotes reckless aggression.

Targets: Wounds living creatures. Heals the wielder.

  8. #8The Duelist's Rapture

    Entry settings

    Name: The Duelist's Rapture

Overview: An exquisitely crafted rapier that rewards its wielder's skill with euphoric surges of adrenaline, making combat an addictive and intoxicating experience.

    Properties:

    • Appearance: A slender, perfectly balanced rapier with a gilded, swept-hilt basket guard. The blade is etched with elegant, flowing patterns, and a single, deep red garnet is set into the pommel. The entire weapon hums with a barely perceptible energy.
    • Dimensions & Weight:
      • Overall Length: 125 cm
      • Blade Length: 105 cm
      • Grip Length: 20 cm
      • Weight: 1.1 kg
    • Effect: A passive effect tied to combat performance. Each time the wielder successfully lands a hit or executes a clean parry, the rapier releases a magical stimulant into their bloodstream. This causes a rush of heightened senses, increased reaction speed, and a wave of intense pleasure. The effects stack, turning a prolonged duel into a state of euphoric battle trance.
    • Activation: Passive. Triggers on landing a blow or successfully parrying.
    • Range: Melee.
    • Duration: The euphoric rush from a single trigger lasts for a few seconds, but can be sustained by continuous combat.
    • Special: The sensation is intensely addictive. The wielder may begin seeking out danger simply to feel the "rapture" again. After the effect fades post-combat, a period of listlessness and emotional numbness often follows, reinforcing the craving for the next fight.

    Targets: The wielder.

  9. #9Daybreak

    Keys: Daybreak

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

    Name: Daybreak

Overview: A silver-headed mace that passively emits a constant, cleansing light, which intensifies to blinding levels in the presence of supernatural evil.

    Properties:

    • Appearance: A one-handed mace with a polished white ash haft. Its head is forged from pure silver, shaped into a stylized sun with eight flanges serving as rays. At its core is a crystal that seems to hold a mote of pure, condensed sunlight.
    • Dimensions & Weight:
      • Overall Length: 75 cm
      • Head Length: 18 cm
      • Grip Length: 57 cm
      • Weight: 2.8 kg
    • Effect: A constant passive effect. The mace head perpetually glows with a bright, warm light equivalent to a torch, illuminating the area around the wielder. In the presence of undead, fiends, aberrations, or beings of pure shadow (within a 15-meter radius), this light automatically flares to the intensity of true daylight. This blinding light is painful and disorienting to such creatures, and direct contact with the mace inflicts burns as if from concentrated sunlight.
    • Activation: Passive. The light is always on, and its intensity increases automatically based on proximity to specific creature types.
    • Range: 15-meter radius for the light aura. Melee for contact damage.
    • Duration: Constant.
    • Special: Makes any attempt at stealth by the wielder completely impossible. The constant holy light can be unsettling to morally ambiguous or neutral beings. The wielder is immune to the blinding flare of their own weapon.

Targets: The area around the wielder (light). Creatures of supernatural evil (intensified light and contact damage).

  10. #10Carrion's Caress

    Keys: Carrion's Caress

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

    Name: Carrion's Caress

Overview: A wicked-looking falchion with a serrated edge that seems perpetually coated in a faint, sickly moisture. It passively infects any wound it creates with a random, debilitating magical malady.

    Properties:

    • Appearance: The blade is forged from a mottled, greenish-black metal, like heavily corroded bronze. Its surface is uneven and pitted, and the serrated back edge is chipped and irregular. The hilt is a simple iron bar wrapped in stained, yellowed leather. The weapon gives off a faint, unpleasant, sweetish smell.
    • Dimensions & Weight:
      • Overall Length: 90 cm
      • Blade Length: 70 cm
      • Grip Length: 20 cm
      • Weight: 2.1 kg
    • Effect: Passive. Upon wounding a living creature, the blade magically transmits a random affliction directly into the target's bloodstream. These maladies are not normal diseases but magical curses, such as "Blight-Fever" (causes extreme weakness and fatigue), "Mind-fire" (induces confusion and hallucinations), or "Creeping Petrification" (slowly hardens skin and muscle tissue).
    • Activation: Passive. Triggers automatically when the blade breaks a target's skin.
    • Range: Melee.
    • Duration: The affliction persists until magically cured.
    • Special: The wielder is magically immune to the diseases the blade carries. The weapon's very presence tends to attract carrion birds and insects, making it difficult to go unnoticed in the wilderness.

Targets: Living creatures with a circulatory system.

  11. #11The Purifier's Blade

    Keys: The Purifier's Blade

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

    Name: The Purifier's Blade

Overview: A severe, unadorned greatsword forged from a silvery metal. It is passively and devastatingly effective against any non-human creature, but feels inert against humanity.

    Properties:

    • Appearance: A large, functional greatsword made of a bright, almost white steel. It is entirely devoid of ornamentation, save for a single, stark line etched down the center of the blade. The grip is wrapped in simple, black leather. In the presence of non-human entities, the blade emits a soft, silver luminescence.
    • Dimensions & Weight:
      • Overall Length: 155 cm
      • Blade Length: 115 cm
      • Grip Length: 40 cm
      • Weight: 4.5 kg
    • Effect: A powerful passive effect. When this blade strikes any creature that is not a true human (e.g., beasts, monsters, fey, elementals, aberrations, etc.), it inflicts triple the amount of physical damage. Its edge cuts through unnatural hides and magical protections with shocking ease.
    • Activation: Passive. The effect is inherent to the blade and always active.
    • Range: Melee.
    • Duration: Constant.
    • Special: Against a true human, the blade's magic is completely dormant. It feels heavy and mundane, striking with no more force than a standard, unenchanted greatsword. This makes it a highly specialized tool, not an all-purpose weapon.

    Targets: All non-human creatures.

  12. #12Siren's Sting

    Keys: Siren's Sting

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

    Name: Siren's Sting

Overview: An incredibly beautiful stiletto that does not inspire fear, but a deep, obsessive infatuation in anyone it harms.

    Properties:

    • Appearance: A delicate stiletto crafted from rose gold, with intricate filigree work covering the hilt and crossguard. The grip is inlaid with polished mother-of-pearl. A single, flawless pink tourmaline is set in the pommel. The weapon seems to catch the light in a captivating way, drawing the eye.
    • Dimensions & Weight:
      • Overall Length: 40 cm
      • Blade Length: 25 cm
      • Grip Length: 15 cm
      • Weight: 0.7 kg
    • Effect: Passive. Any creature pricked or cut by this blade, no matter how minor the wound, is immediately overcome with a powerful, magical infatuation for the wielder. Each subsequent hit deepens the obsession, turning simple admiration into desperate, all-consuming devotion. The target will hesitate to harm the wielder and may even try to protect them from others.
    • Activation: Passive. Triggers automatically upon wounding a target.
    • Range: Melee.
    • Duration: The infatuation is permanent until magically dispelled. Its intensity increases with each wound.
    • Special: The weapon's magic subtly corrupts its wielder. Over time, they become increasingly narcissistic and manipulative, viewing others only as potential admirers to be enthralled. They gradually lose the ability to form genuine emotional bonds.

Targets: Sapient creatures capable of affection or obsession.

  13. #13Void-Cutters

    Keys: Void-Cutters

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

    Name: Void-Cutters

Overview: A pair of matched daggers that appear to be carved from solid darkness. Where their blades touch matter, it temporarily ceases to exist.

    Properties:

    • Appearance: The daggers are made from a material that resembles polished, non-reflective obsidian. They absorb all light, appearing as dagger-shaped holes in reality. The hilts are simple, wrapped in supple black leather, providing the only conventional texture. They feel unnaturally weightless.
    • Dimensions & Weight:
      • Overall Length: 38 cm (each)
      • Blade Length: 22 cm (each)
      • Grip Length: 16 cm (each)
      • Weight: 0.8 kg (each)
    • Effect: A passive effect. Any physical matter the blades make contact with is temporarily erased from existence for one to two seconds. A strike against a shield leaves a fleeting hole. A cut on a limb causes it to flicker out of reality for a moment, making the target stumble and become unable to use it. This does not cause pain, only profound disorientation.
    • Activation: Passive. Triggers on physical contact.
    • Range: Touch.
    • Duration: The erasure lasts for 1-2 seconds per touch.
    • Special: Wielding the daggers is mentally taxing, causing a creeping sense of dissociation and emotional numbness over time. The wielder slowly begins to feel less "real." They cannot harm themselves with the daggers, as the blades phase through their own body.

Targets: Any physical matter, living or non-living.

  14. #14The Griever's Thorn

    Keys: The Griever's Thorn

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

    Name: The Griever's Thorn

Overview: A spear with a living wooden shaft that passively implants seeds of explosive, thorny growth into any flesh it pierces.

    Properties:

    • Appearance: The shaft is a single, smooth piece of dark yew wood, warm to the touch and seemingly alive. Faint, leaf-like patterns are carved into its surface. The spearhead is a large, cruel barb of what looks like petrified, dark-green obsidian.
    • Dimensions & Weight:
      • Overall Length: 220 cm
      • Head Length: 45 cm
      • Grip Diameter: 4 cm
      • Weight: 3.0 kg
    • Effect: Passive. When the spearhead wounds a biological target, it leaves behind a magical seed. This seed instantly germinates, erupting into a mass of thick, thorny vines that tear through the victim from the inside out. The vines can also burst forth to entangle the target or nearby foes.
    • Activation: Passive. Triggers upon wounding a biological creature.
    • Range: Melee. The resulting vine growth can spread up to 3 meters from the initial wound.
    • Duration: The vines are unnaturally strong for about one minute before rapidly withering into black dust.
    • Special: The spawned vines are indiscriminately hostile and will attempt to ensnare anything within reach, including the wielder and their allies if they are not careful. The spear seems to calm and feel "sated" after causing a growth.

Targets: Biological organisms (fauna, not flora).

  15. #15Gambler's Cleaver

    Keys: Gambler's Cleaver

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

    Name: Gambler's Cleaver

Overview: A brutish greataxe that passively manipulates local probability, ensuring its wild swings are far more likely to land a devastating blow than they should be.

    Properties:

    • Appearance: A massive, crudely-shaped greataxe forged from a dull, meteoric iron that swirls with faint, oily patterns. The twin blades are slightly asymmetrical, giving it an unbalanced look. The haft is a length of gnarled, twisted oak.
    • Dimensions & Weight:
      • Overall Length: 160 cm
      • Head Width (blade to blade): 50 cm
      • Weight: 7.5 kg
    • Effect: A constant passive effect. The axe subtly warps causality around its wielder during combat. A swing that should have been a near-miss might inexplicably connect. An opponent's parry might slip at the last moment. A seemingly solid block might strike a hidden fracture in a shield. It does not make the wielder stronger or faster, merely luckier in landing blows.
    • Activation: Passive and constant.
    • Range: Melee.
    • Duration: Constant.
    • Special: The axe creates a "luck deficit." For every moment of improbable good fortune in battle, an equal and opposite moment of misfortune will occur to the wielder outside of combat. This can range from tripping on a flat surface to their coin pouch tearing open at the worst possible time. The axe only cares about hitting its mark.

Targets: The abstract concept of probability surrounding the wielder's attacks.

  16. #16Harrier's Grasp

    Keys: Harrier's Grasp

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

    Name: Harrier's Grasp

Overview: A heavy crossbow built from dark yew and blued steel that fires bolts which transform into spectral chains, binding and pulling targets.

    Properties:

    • Appearance: The stock of the crossbow is made of dark, oiled yew, while the prod and firing mechanism are blued steel etched with fine, geometric runes. Instead of firing a normal bolt, it materializes a bolt of shimmering, translucent blue energy when the string is drawn and locked.
    • Dimensions & Weight:
      • Overall Length: 90 cm
      • Prod Width: 75 cm
      • Weight: 6.0 kg
    • Effect: A passive enchantment on its ammunition. When a fired energy bolt strikes a target (creature or object), it instantly transforms into a set of ethereal chains that bind it securely. By focusing their will, the wielder can then do one of two things: anchor themselves and pull the target towards them, or pull themselves towards the anchored target.
    • Activation: Firing the crossbow is the trigger. The pull effect is activated by the wielder's will.
    • Range: Firing range is 80 meters. The pull effect works up to this distance.
    • Duration: The chains last for up to one minute or until the wielder releases their will.
    • Special: The chains have a finite strength. They can pull a man-sized creature or allow the wielder to hoist themselves up, but attempting to pull something immense (like an ogre or a section of wall) will cause the chains to shatter harmlessly. The crossbow creates its own ammunition, requiring only time to reload.

Targets: Any creature or solid object that can be struck by a bolt.

  17. #17Shepherd's Whisper

    Keys: Shepherd's Whisper

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

    Name: Shepherd's Whisper

Overview: A simple but masterfully crafted leather sling that imbues its projectile with a single, stored sound, releasing it upon impact.

    Properties:

    • Appearance: A sling made of supple, dark-brown braided leather. The pouch is woven with barely-visible silver thread that glows with a soft, momentary light when a sound is stored within it. It is otherwise completely unremarkable.
    • Dimensions & Weight:
      • Overall Length: 150 cm (unfolded)
      • Pouch Size: 10 cm x 7 cm
      • Weight: 0.1 kg
    • Effect: This is a passive utility enchantment. Before slinging a stone, the wielder can whisper a sound, word, or short phrase into the pouch. The stone absorbs this sound. When the stone is launched and strikes a surface, it shatters and releases the stored sound from the point of impact at a greatly amplified volume.
    • Activation: Passive. Storing the sound requires whispering into the pouch. The release is triggered by the projectile's impact.
    • Range: The range of a normal sling (up to 200 meters for a skilled user).
    • Duration: The sound is stored until released. The sound burst is instantaneous.
    • Special: Excellent for creating diversions, sending coded signals, or unnerving enemies with phantom noises. The stone is destroyed in the process, leaving no magical trace behind. The sling can only store one sound at a time.

Targets: The projectile (stone). The effect targets an area with sound.

  18. #18The Unspoken Stone

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

    Name: The Unspoken Stone

Overview: A smooth, heavy river stone that passively connects its holder to the history and physical nature of their immediate environment, granting intuitive insights.

    Properties:

    • Appearance: A perfectly smooth, palm-sized stone of a deep, mossy green color, shot through with a single vein of white quartz. It feels unnaturally heavy and is always warm to the touch, regardless of the ambient temperature.
    • Dimensions & Weight:
      • Diameter: ~10 cm
      • Weight: 0.5 kg
    • Effect: This stone is not meant to be thrown. When held, it creates a passive psychic link between the holder and their surroundings. The wielder receives flashes of intuition: they might "feel" a hidden passage behind a wall, sense the structural weakness in a column, or get a fleeting emotional echo of a significant event that occurred in that spot.
    • Activation: Passive. Activates simply by being held with intent to perceive.
    • Range: The holder's immediate vicinity (e.g., the room they are in, a small clearing).
    • Duration: Constant while held.
    • Special: The stone does not provide clear visions, only strong gut feelings and intuitive nudges. It helps its user notice things that are physically present but hidden. Its calming warmth also helps to center the mind, making it easier to focus under pressure.

Targets: The wielder's perception and intuition.

  19. #19The Axe of Unsolicited Praise

Keys: The Axe of Unsolicited Praise

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Name: The Axe of Unsolicited Praise

Overview: A beautifully crafted battle axe that, instead of issuing war cries, shouts overly enthusiastic and specific compliments at anyone it is swung towards.

    Properties:

    • Appearance: A gleaming, single-bladed battle axe. The head is polished to a mirror shine with gold-leaf inlays forming elaborate scrollwork. The haft is of smooth, polished cherry wood. It looks pompous and self-important.
    • Dimensions & Weight:
      • Overall Length: 85 cm
      • Head Width: 25 cm
      • Grip Length: 60 cm
      • Weight: 2.5 kg
    • Effect: A passive, vocal enchantment. Every time the axe is swung with intent, it magically booms a compliment directed at the nearest opponent. The compliments are oddly specific, such as "Your footwork is simply sublime!" or "What a wonderfully executed parry! Ten out of ten!" or "That armor flatters your physique magnificently!"
    • Activation: Passive. Triggers on any offensive swing of the axe.
    • Range: Vocal effect has a range of about 20 meters.
    • Duration: Each compliment is a brief, instantaneous shout.
    • Special: The wielder cannot turn this feature off. The constant, booming praise can be incredibly distracting to both the opponent and the wielder. The axe has a posh, theatrical voice.

Targets: The ears and morale of anyone within hearing distance.

  20. #20Blade of Greased Misfortune

    Keys: Blade of Greased Misfortune

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

    Name: Blade of Greased Misfortune

Overview: A shortsword that passively coats any non-living surface it touches with a harmless, invisible, and impossibly slippery film.

    Properties:

    • Appearance: A sleek, silvery shortsword with a blade that always looks wet or oily, though it is perfectly dry to the touch. The grip is wrapped in rough, non-slip ray skin to provide a secure hold.
    • Dimensions & Weight:
      • Overall Length: 75 cm
      • Blade Length: 60 cm
      • Grip Length: 15 cm
      • Weight: 1.0 kg
    • Effect: Passive. When the blade touches a non-living object (an opponent's weapon, their shield, the floor, a doorknob), it coats the point of contact in a frictionless substance. A shield becomes impossible to hold, a sword handle slips from the enemy's grasp, and a small patch of floor becomes an ice rink.
    • Activation: Passive. Triggers on contact with non-living materials.
    • Range: Touch.
    • Duration: The slippery effect lasts for approximately one minute before fading completely.
    • Special: The wielder's own grip on the sword is immune to the effect. The enchantment is subtle, often making mishaps look like the opponent's own clumsiness. It is hilariously effective at disarming foes without injury.

    Targets: Non-living materials and objects.

  21. #21The Timorous Bulwark

    Keys: The Timorous Bulwark

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

    Name: The Timorous Bulwark

Overview: A sentient kite shield that is terrified of violence. It actively tries to move its wielder away from incoming attacks, often by shoving them.

    Properties:

    • Appearance: A classic steel kite shield, beautifully painted with the image of a roaring, heroic griffin. However, upon close inspection, the griffin's eyes are wide with panic. The shield often trembles slightly, emitting faint, worried metallic whimpers.
    • Dimensions & Weight:
      • Height: 120 cm
      • Width: 60 cm
      • Weight: 7.0 kg
    • Effect: The shield is sentient and cowardly. It passively communicates its fear to the wielder. When a significant blow is about to land, the shield's enchantment activates, giving the wielder a powerful, reflexive shove to the side to "help" them dodge. It wants to avoid being hit at all costs.
    • Activation: Passive and automatic. Triggers when the shield "panics" from an incoming attack.
    • Range: Self (it moves the wielder).
    • Duration: The shove is instantaneous.
    • Special: The shove is involuntary and not always helpful, potentially pushing the wielder off balance, into another opponent, or off a ledge. If struck solidly, it lets out a loud, comical "CLANG!" of pain and terror.

    Targets: The wielder.

  22. #22The Sage's Edge

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

    Name: The Sage's Edge

Overview: A utility dagger that is utterly useless for combat, but can perfectly season any food it touches to the wielder's exact specifications.

    Properties:

    • Appearance: A wide-bladed dagger that looks more like a small chef's knife. The blade is clean and well-kept, though its edge is conspicuously dull. The hilt is made of polished olive wood. It smells faintly of rosemary.
    • Dimensions & Weight:
      • Overall Length: 30 cm
      • Blade Length: 18 cm
      • Grip Length: 12 cm
      • Weight: 0.4 kg
    • Effect: Passive utility. When the wielder touches the blade to food while thinking of a flavor profile, the dagger magically seasons it to perfection. It can add salt, pepper, garlic, paprika, a hint of citrus, or even complex multi-herb blends. It can make a bland piece of hardtack taste like a gourmet meal.
    • Activation: Physical contact with food, guided by the wielder's culinary thoughts.
    • Range: Touch.
    • Duration: The seasoning is permanent.
    • Special: The blade's edge is magically enchanted to be permanently dull, making it almost impossible to cut anything tougher than soft cheese. It is the ultimate tool for a travelling cook, but a terrible choice for an assassin.

    Targets: Edible materials.

  23. #23Charnel Caress

    Keys: Charnel Caress

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

    Name: Charnel Caress

Overview: A grotesque, door-sized greatsword of flesh and bone that looks like a nightmare given form. Despite its horrific appearance, any "blow" it lands does not harm, but instead provides powerful, miraculous healing.

    Properties:

    • Appearance: A colossal slab of a sword, almost two meters long. The "blade" is a pulsating amalgam of stretched sinew, weeping pores, and fused, teeth-like serrations. The fuller is a visible spinal column, and the crossguard is a cluster of blinking, sorrowful eyes that drip a clear, soothing ichor. The pommel is a slowly beating, heart-like organ. The weapon is terrifying to behold.
    • Dimensions & Weight:
      • Overall Length: 200 cm
      • Blade Width: 40 cm
      • Grip Length: 50 cm
      • Weight: 30 kg
    • Effect: A paradoxical passive effect. When this weapon strikes a living creature, it inflicts no damage. The impact feels like a heavy, cold press. The ichor from the sword's "eyes" instantly seeps into the target, mending broken bones, closing grievous wounds, purging poisons, and curing diseases. The healing is potent and immediate.
    • Activation: Passive. Triggers automatically on impact with a living creature.
    • Range: Touch.
    • Duration: The healing is instantaneous.
    • Special: The psychological effect on the target is profound; they anticipate a gruesome death only to be met with inexplicable vitality, often causing panic and confusion. The wielder must be strong enough to simply lift the weapon, and must endure its unsettling, wet squelching sounds.

Targets: Living creatures in need of healing (whether they want it or not).

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

    Name: Molten Coil

Overview: A whip whose lash is not leather, but a flowing, controllable river of searing magma.

    Properties:

    • Appearance: The handle is a rod of polished, heat-proof obsidian. From its end extends the "lash"—a four-meter-long tendril of glowing, incandescent magma that constantly drips and flows. It illuminates its surroundings with a menacing, orange glow.
    • Dimensions & Weight:
      • Overall Length: ~400 cm (variable)
      • Handle Length: 40 cm
      • Weight: 5.0 kg (handle only, lash is effectively weightless)
    • Effect: Passively, any creature struck by the lash is severely burned. More importantly, the wielder can mentally command the magma. They can cause the lash to wrap around a limb or body and then momentarily cool, hardening into jagged volcanic rock to trap the victim.
    • Activation: Burning is passive on contact. Hardening the magma requires a moment of focused will from the wielder.
    • Range: 4-meter reach.
    • Duration: The hardening effect lasts for up to 10 seconds before the rock crumbles back into liquid magma.
    • Special: The obsidian handle magically protects the wielder from the intense heat emitted by the whip. The area around the whip is super-heated, capable of scorching the ground and setting flammable materials alight.

Targets: Anything that can be burned or entrapped.

    Entry settings

    Name: Blade of Accord

Overview: An elegant twinblade that passively projects a subtle aura of charisma, making the wielder's words seem more reasonable, compelling, and trustworthy.

    Properties:

    • Appearance: A perfectly balanced double-bladed sword. The two slender, leaf-shaped blades are forged from bright silver steel. They extend from a central grip made of dark, polished mahogany, inlaid with a gentle, wave-like pattern of gold that seems to shimmer softly.
    • Dimensions & Weight:
      • Overall Length: 180 cm
      • Blade Length: 65 cm (each)
      • Grip Length: 50 cm
      • Weight: 3.2 kg
    • Effect: A constant passive aura. Any sapient being within 10 meters of the wielder finds them more persuasive. It does not control minds, but it lowers social inhibitions and makes the wielder's arguments sound more logical and their requests more appealing. It fosters agreement and de-escalates conflict.
    • Activation: Passive and constant while the weapon is held or worn by the wielder.
    • Range: 10-meter aura. Melee range for the blades.
    • Duration: Constant.
    • Special: The aura affects everyone equally, including friends and allies. The wielder must be careful, as their off-hand suggestions or jokes may be taken far more seriously than intended. The effect is purely social and offers no direct combat advantage beyond potential intimidation or surrender negotiation.

Targets: The minds and dispositions of sapient creatures within the aura.

    Properties:

    • Appearance: The staff's shaft is made of three different types of wood—pale white birch, dark oak, and reddish yew—that are unnaturally twisted and woven together. At its apex is a large, cloudy crystal that constantly shifts through a kaleidoscope of muted colors.
    • Dimensions & Weight:
      • Overall Length: 190 cm
      • Diameter: 5 cm
      • Weight: 2.8 kg
    • Effect: When the wielder channels their will, the staff unleashes a bolt of shimmering, multicolored energy. Any living creature or non-magical object struck by this bolt is instantly transformed into a different creature or object of roughly equivalent mass for one minute. The outcome is completely random; an armored knight might become a sheep, a goblin could become a teapot, or a boulder might turn into a large, confused badger.
    • Activation: The wielder must point the staff and focus their will on a target.
    • Range: 30 meters.
    • Duration: The transformation lasts for exactly one minute before the target reverts to its original form, completely unharmed but likely very disoriented.
    • Special: The wielder has absolutely no control over the final form of the target. The staff's magic is chaotic and unpredictable, which can be both a blessing and a curse. Transformed creatures lose all of their original abilities and adopt the instincts of their new form.

Targets: One living creature or non-magical object.

    Entry settings

    Name: Winter's Bite

Overview: A heavy glaive with a blade of magical, unbreakable ice that passively freezes the ground around its wielder.

    Properties:

    • Appearance: The polearm's shaft is made of a pale wood that looks perpetually coated in frost. The blade at its tip is a long, cruel cutting edge formed from magically-hardened, translucent blue ice. A constant, faint mist of condensation drifts from the blade.
    • Dimensions & Weight:
      • Overall Length: 240 cm
      • Blade Length: 70 cm
      • Grip Diameter: 4.5 cm
      • Weight: 6.5 kg
    • Effect: A passive enchantment. The weapon radiates intense cold. Any successful hit inflicts deep, freezing wounds. More significantly, it constantly freezes the ground in a 5-meter radius around the wielder, covering it in a treacherous sheet of slippery ice that can hamper enemy movement.
    • Activation: Passive and constant while held.
    • Range: Melee. The freezing aura has a 5-meter radius.
    • Duration: The patch of ice created by the aura lasts for one minute before melting away.
    • Special: The wielder is magically immune to the glaive's cold and is unaffected by the slippery ice it creates, granting them a significant tactical advantage on the frozen terrain.

Targets: The blade targets creatures and objects. The aura targets the ground surface.

  28. #28Asp's Tooth

    Keys: Asp's Tooth

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

    Name: Asp's Tooth

Overview: A wicked war pick that injects a stacking magical venom with every successful strike, progressively slowing and paralyzing its victims.

    Properties:

    • Appearance: A one-handed war pick forged from a dark, oily-green metal. The haft is wrapped in black snakeskin leather. The primary striking point is a long, sharp spike shaped like a viper's fang, while the back features a small, flat hammerhead. A faint, sickly-green vapor occasionally drifts from the fang's tip.
    • Dimensions & Weight:
      • Overall Length: 60 cm
      • Head Length (spike to hammer): 25 cm
      • Weight: 2.0 kg
    • Effect: Passive. When the fang-like spike pierces a living creature, it injects a dose of potent paralytic venom. The effects are cumulative: a single dose slows the target; a second dose causes their limbs to grow heavy and numb; a third dose can induce temporary, full-body paralysis.
    • Activation: Passive. Triggers automatically on a successful piercing attack with the spike. The hammerhead does not apply poison.
    • Range: Melee.
    • Duration: Each dose of venom lasts for approximately one minute. New doses reset the duration and add to the effect.
    • Special: The war pick magically generates its own venom and never runs dry. The wielder is immune to its effects. The venom is visible, appearing as thin black lines that spread through the victim's veins from the point of impact.

Targets: Living creatures susceptible to poison.

  29. #29Dull-Point

    Keys: Dull-Point

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

    Name: Dull-Point

Overview: A heavy, brutish mining pick forged from a lead-like metal. Each successful blow saps the intellect and reasoning of its target, rendering them confused and dull-witted.

    Properties:

    • Appearance: A crude and functional pickaxe. The head is a thick block of a dull, grey, non-reflective metal, with one end a blunt spike and the other a heavy, flat adze. The haft is unvarnished, splintery hickory. The whole weapon looks ponderous and unintelligent.
    • Dimensions & Weight:
      • Overall Length: 80 cm
      • Head Length (spike to adze): 30 cm
      • Weight: 8.0 kg
    • Effect: Passive. Any living creature struck by this pick suffers a temporary, significant drop in intelligence. Simple concepts become difficult, complex tactics impossible. Spellcasters may find themselves unable to recall their incantations. The effects are cumulative; multiple strikes can reduce a tactical genius to a drooling imbecile.
    • Activation: Passive. Triggers on a successful hit.
    • Range: Melee.
    • Duration: The intellectual impairment from a single strike lasts for one minute. Subsequent strikes stack the effect and reset the duration.
    • Special: The wielder is immune to the mind-dulling effect. Ironically, the pick is terrible for actual mining, as its magic tends to shatter complex geological formations and crystals while struggling to break simple earth.

Targets: The cognitive functions of living, sapient creatures.

  30. #30Reaper's Toll

    Keys: Reaper's Toll

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

    Name: Reaper's Toll

Overview: A great scythe of obsidian and petrified wood that does not damage the body, but instead severs a mortal's soul, reaping it into its blade.

    Properties:

    • Appearance: A large, intimidating scythe. The snath (handle) is crafted from smooth, black petrified wood that feels cold as death. The massive, curved blade is a single piece of flawless obsidian, within which one can see faint, spectral forms swirling like trapped smoke.
    • Dimensions & Weight:
      • Overall Length: 220 cm
      • Blade Length (along the curve): 100 cm
      • Weight: 5.5 kg
    • Effect: A passive, absolute effect. A clean strike against a mortal, soul-bearing creature does not leave a physical wound. Instead, it irrevocably severs the soul from the body and absorbs it into the blade. The victim's body is left as a soulless husk that immediately ceases all higher functions and begins to rapidly decay.
    • Activation: Passive. Triggers on a solid, clean hit.
    • Range: Melee.
    • Duration: Instantaneous and permanent.
    • Special: The scythe is useless against constructs, elementals, and creatures without a conventional soul. Its wielder gradually becomes emotionally detached from the concepts of life and death. The souls trapped within the blade cannot be communicated with or released.

Targets: The souls of mortal, living creatures.

  31. #31The Corrosive Maw

    Entry settings

    Name: The Corrosive Maw

Overview: A menacing trident forged from a perpetually weeping green metal. Each of its tines drips a potent acid that dissolves armor and flesh with equal ease.

    Properties:

    • Appearance: A military trident forged from a bronze-like metal covered in a sickly green patina. The metal constantly seems to sweat, causing thick, viscous drops of acid to slowly run down its three barbed tines and drip from their tips. The central haft is wrapped in magically-treated, acid-proof leather.
    • Dimensions & Weight:
      • Overall Length: 210 cm
      • Head Width (tine to tine): 35 cm
      • Weight: 4.8 kg
    • Effect: Passive corrosion on hit. Any object or creature struck is coated in a powerful acid. Metal rusts and pits, leather and wood soften and char, and flesh sizzles and melts. The effect is cumulative, with subsequent hits rapidly destroying defenses. By focusing, the wielder can also launch a glob of this acid as a short-range projectile.
    • Activation: Passive on melee hits. Active (willpower) to launch a projectile.
    • Range: Melee. The acid projectile has a range of 10 meters.
    • Duration: The acid remains active on a surface for one minute or until neutralized.
    • Special: The acid can be neutralized by a large volume of water. The wielder is protected by the haft, but must be careful of the constant dripping when the weapon is idle.

Targets: Physical materials (organic and inorganic).

    Entry settings

    Name: The Beggar's Bite

Overview: A rusty, unassuming shortsword whose damage is magically amplified based on the material wealth of the person it strikes. It is the bane of the affluent and harmless to the destitute.

    Properties:

    • Appearance: A simple, straight-bladed shortsword that appears neglected. The blade is covered in what looks like deep rust and pitting, though it is structurally sound. The crossguard is a simple bar of iron, and the hilt is wrapped in frayed, common cord. It looks utterly worthless.
    • Dimensions & Weight:
      • Overall Length: 70 cm
      • Blade Length: 55 cm
      • Grip Length: 15 cm
      • Weight: 0.9 kg
    • Effect: A passive enchantment of "karmic justice." When the blade strikes a target, its damage is multiplied by their wealth. A cut on a landless peasant might feel like a pinprick, while the same cut on a wealthy merchant or king would inflict a shockingly deep and painful wound. The wound briefly shimmers with the phantom image of spilling coins.
    • Activation: Passive. Triggers automatically on a successful hit.
    • Range: Melee.
    • Duration: The damage multiplication is instantaneous.
    • Special: The weapon's magic intuits wealth in all its forms—land, titles, gold, property, and even social standing. It is completely ineffective against creatures with no concept of ownership, like wild beasts. The wielder is unaffected by its magic.

Targets: The physical bodies of sapient creatures, with damage modified by their wealth.

  33. #33Blightreap

    Keys: Blightreap

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

    Name: Blightreap

Overview: A sickle made of cold, dead iron that damages the environment wherever it passes, poisoning the earth and sickening living things. It is one half of a powerful ecological pair.

    Properties:

    • Appearance: A one-handed sickle with a blade of pitted, black iron that seems to absorb light. The handle is made of splintery, petrified wood. A thin, oily black smoke constantly trails from the blade, killing small insects that fly too close.
    • Dimensions & Weight:
      • Overall Length: 50 cm
      • Blade Length (along the curve): 30 cm
      • Weight: 1.5 kg
    • Effect: Passively radiates an aura of decay. Plant life near the sickle wilts. A strike against the ground salts the earth in a one-meter radius, making it barren. Wounds inflicted by the blade are necrotic, resisting natural healing and spreading a dark corruption through the victim's flesh.
    • Activation: Passive. The effects are always active.
    • Range: Melee. The wilting aura is ~1 meter. The ground-blighting effect is ~1 meter per strike.
    • Duration: Constant. Blighted ground remains barren until magically cleansed.
    • Special: When wielded alongside its counterpart, Verdant Bloom, its necrotic aura intensifies, and its wounds become even more difficult to heal.

Targets: Living organisms and the natural environment (soil, water).

  34. #34Verdant Bloom

    Entry settings

    Name: Verdant Bloom

Overview: A sickle of living wood and bright bronze that restores the environment, reverses desertification, and allows its wielder to influence local weather. It is the restorative half of its pair.

    Properties:

    • Appearance: A one-handed sickle with a blade of warm, gleaming bronze. The handle is made of living, smooth rowan wood, with a few green leaves perpetually growing near the blade. It emits a soft, warm green light and smells of fresh rain.
    • Dimensions & Weight:
      • Overall Length: 50 cm
      • Blade Length (along the curve): 30 cm
      • Weight: 1.5 kg
    • Effect: Passively radiates an aura of life. Striking blighted or salted earth with the blade instantly purifies it, causing grass and wildflowers to sprout. The wielder can also channel their will through the sickle to alter the local weather: they can summon a brief, gentle rain, clear away clouds for sunlight, or call a steady breeze.
    • Activation: Purification is passive on contact with damaged earth. Weather control is an active ability requiring concentration.
    • Range: Melee (for purification). Weather effect covers a ~1 kilometer radius.
    • Duration: Purification is permanent. Weather effects last as long as the wielder concentrates, up to one hour.
    • Special: When wielded alongside its counterpart, Blightreap, its restorative powers are amplified, and its weather control becomes more potent and precise. Striking Blightreap with Verdant Bloom causes a harmless but bright flash of neutral energy.

Targets: The natural environment (soil, weather).

  35. #35The Fortuitous Cudgel

    Keys: The Fortuitous Cudgel

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

    Name: The Fortuitous Cudgel

Overview: A plain, heavy wooden club that, when slammed against the ground in a moment of dire need, summons a completely random, yet somehow perfectly convenient, solution to the wielder's problem.

    Properties:

    • Appearance: A comically simple cudgel. It's a thick, heavy piece of dark oak, crudely shaped with a knob at one end for a grip. It has no markings, no magic glow, and looks like it was picked up in a forest moments ago.
    • Dimensions & Weight:
      • Overall Length: 100 cm
      • Grip Length: 30 cm
      • Head Diameter: 20 cm
      • Weight: 10 kg
    • Effect: A single-use-per-day active ability. When the wielder is in a truly desperate situation and strikes the ground with the cudgel while focusing on their predicament, the universe conspires to help. This isn't a subtle effect; a literal grand piano might fall on an ogre, a fully-set dining table might appear for the starving, or a key for the locked door might fall from a passing bird's beak. The solution is always absurd, overt, and barely logical.
    • Activation: The wielder must be in genuine peril and strike the earth with focused intent.
    • Range: The effect manifests in the immediate vicinity of the wielder.
    • Duration: The summoned object or event is real and permanent.
    • Special: The cudgel can only be used this way once per sunrise. The wielder has no control over how the problem is solved, only that it will be solved in the most baffling way possible. In normal combat, it's just a heavy, unwieldy club.

Targets: The abstract concept of "the wielder's current predicament."

  36. #36Ovation

    Keys: Ovation

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

    Name: Ovation

Overview: A flamboyant greatsword that provides no extra damage but accompanies its wielder's every action with over-the-top special effects and a bombastic musical score.

    Properties:

    • Appearance: A massive, ornate greatsword with a blade of polished chrome steel. The crossguard is shaped like golden angel wings, and the hilt is wrapped in plush red velvet. A large, flawless diamond in the pommel glitters with lens flares even in dim light.
    • Dimensions & Weight:
      • Overall Length: 170 cm
      • Blade Length: 125 cm
      • Grip Length: 45 cm
      • Weight: 5.0 kg
    • Effect: Passively enhances reality around the wielder for maximum drama. Drawing the sword is accompanied by a heroic musical swell and a slow-motion effect only the wielder perceives. Every swing leaves trails of brilliant light and sparks. A successful parry creates a deafening "CLANG!" and a shower of sparks. A killing blow triggers a full orchestral crescendo, a dramatic zoom, and a fade to black (again, only for the wielder).
    • Activation: Passive. It's always on.
    • Range: The effects are visible and audible to everyone within a 50-meter radius.
    • Duration: Constant.
    • Special: Makes stealth utterly impossible. The constant background music can be incredibly annoying during sensitive negotiations or quiet moments. The effects are purely cosmetic and add no combat advantage whatsoever.

Targets: The presentation and atmosphere of the wielder's actions.

  37. #37The Gaoler's Parable

    Keys: The Gaoler's Parable

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

    Name: The Gaoler's Parable

Overview: A strangely shaped parrying dagger that can trap a single target within a personalized pocket dimension, the nature of which is dictated by the wielder.

    Properties:

    • Appearance: A main-gauche with a stark, cage-like crossguard. The blade is made of swirling, grey metal that resembles smoke frozen under glass. In the center of the crossguard is a perfectly spherical, empty crystal ball.
    • Dimensions & Weight:
      • Overall Length: 55 cm
      • Blade Length: 40 cm
      • Grip Length: 15 cm
      • Weight: 1.2 kg
    • Effect: Upon successfully parrying an opponent's attack, the wielder can activate the dagger's magic. The target vanishes from reality and is imprisoned within the crystal ball, which now shows a tiny, swirling diorama of their prison. The wielder can mentally design this prison: a peaceful meadow where time flows slowly, a nightmarish labyrinth of their fears, or a simple, empty white room.
    • Activation: Successfully parry a melee attack, then channel will into the crystal.
    • Range: Touch (on a successful parry).
    • Duration: The target remains imprisoned until the wielder chooses to release them, or until the wielder is rendered unconscious.
    • Special: Only one target can be imprisoned at a time. The wielder can communicate telepathically with the prisoner. The dagger offers no offensive capabilities beyond its trapping magic; it is a tool of control, not destruction.

    Targets: One living, sapient creature.

    Keys: The Unskilled Author's Scepter

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

    Name: The Unskilled Author's Scepter

Overview: A plain-looking rod that, upon being seen by an enemy, forces them and all their allies to immediately cease all hostilities and deliver a long, unprompted monologue detailing their entire life story.

    Properties:

    • Appearance: A simple, unadorned rod of smooth grey wood, capped with a cloudy, fist-sized quartz crystal. It has no sharp edges and looks more like a ceremonial object or a walking stick than a weapon.
    • Dimensions & Weight:
      • Overall Length: 120 cm
      • Diameter: 4 cm
      • Weight: 1.8 kg
    • Effect: A passive, non-counterable mental compulsion. Any hostile creature who lays eyes on the scepter is immediately compelled to stop what they are doing. They will then proceed to narrate, in chronological order: their full biography from birth, their worldview, the complete and unabridged motivation for their actions, and their detailed plans for the future. During this effect, a magical truce is enforced; no one can attack, harm, or be harmed.
    • Activation: Passive. Triggers on being seen by a hostile creature with a story.
    • Range: Line of sight.
    • Duration: Until the monologue is fully completed by every affected creature. This can take a very, very long time.
    • Special: The wielder is also trapped by the effect, forced to listen to the entire exposition dump without being able to interrupt or act. The magic only affects creatures with a sufficiently complex backstory to tell.

Targets: The narrative consciousness of sapient creatures.

  39. #39Shears of the Inept Creator

Keys: Shears of the Inept Creator

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Name: Shears of the Inept Creator

Overview: A pair of large shears that can cut nearly anything, but does so imperfectly, leaving behind asymmetrical, ugly, and functionally flawed results.

    Properties:

    • Appearance: A large pair of scissors, like those a tailor might use. One blade is made of gleaming, polished steel, while the other is a dull, slightly corroded brass. The pivot screw is visibly off-center, and the handles are mismatched sizes. They look fundamentally wrong.
    • Dimensions & Weight:
      • Overall Length: 35 cm
      • Blade Length: 20 cm
      • Weight: 1.1 kg
    • Effect: Passive flaw. The shears can cut cloth, leather, metal, wood, and even stone with unnatural ease. However, the cut is never clean. Fabric is left with frayed edges and mismatched patterns. A haircut results in a lopsided mess. A cut sheet of metal will have a jagged, weakened edge. It fundamentally ruins the aesthetics and structural integrity of whatever it cuts.
    • Activation: Passive. The effect is inherent in the act of cutting.
    • Range: Touch.
    • Duration: The flawed result is permanent.
    • Special: They are a tool of potent vandalism. While they cannot create anything beautiful, they excel at making existing things ugly and wrong. Perfect for sabotaging a rival's tapestry or giving a statue a "makeover."

Targets: Any physical material that can be cut.

    Entry settings

    Name: The Errant Boomerang

Overview: A throwing weapon that is guaranteed to miss its intended target, but will instead strike something else in the vicinity with comically convenient or disastrous results.

    Properties:

    • Appearance: A wooden boomerang carved from a gnarled, knotted piece of wood with an unpredictable grain. It's inlaid with swirling copper wire in a pattern that makes no logical sense. It feels slightly unbalanced in the hand.
    • Dimensions & Weight:
      • Length (arm to arm): 45 cm
      • Weight: 0.6 kg
    • Effect: A passive manipulation of fate. When thrown at a specific target, the boomerang will always veer off course at the last second. However, its new trajectory will inevitably cause a significant, unforeseen event. Thrown at a guard, it might miss him and instead cut the rope holding a chandelier above his captain. Thrown at a fleeing thief, it might miss and hit a fruit stand, causing an avalanche of apples that trips the thief up.
    • Activation: The act of throwing it at a target.
    • Range: Standard throwing range.
    • Duration: The result of the impact is permanent. The boomerang always arcs back and lands neatly at the wielder's feet.
    • Special: The wielder has zero control over the secondary effect. They can only trust that the boomerang will do something interesting. It is a weapon of pure, chaotic narrative convenience.

Targets: The narrative fabric of the immediate situation. It will never hit the intended target.

  41. #41Helios's Wrath

    Keys: Helios's Wrath

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

    Name: Helios's Wrath

Overview: A magnificent longbow of golden sunstone that allows its archer to mark a foe and fire an arrow at the sun itself, calling down a devastating pillar of celestial judgment after a short delay.

    Properties:

    • Appearance: A large, graceful longbow seemingly carved from a single piece of glowing, golden sunstone. It is warm to the touch. The bowstring is not physical but a cord of shimmering, condensed sunlight that manifests when the bow is drawn.
    • Dimensions & Weight:
      • Overall Length: 190 cm
      • Riser/Grip Length: 35 cm
      • Weight: 2.5 kg
    • Effect: The wielder can designate one target within their sight. They may then fire a special, self-generated arrow of light directly at the sun. Exactly 20 seconds after the arrow disappears into the sun, a massive, searing pillar of solar light and radiation erupts from the sky onto the designated target's location. The beam obliterates most matter and leaves behind a lingering aura of sickness and decay.
    • Activation: Active. The wielder must designate a target, then successfully fire an arrow at the sun. This can only be done during the day with a clear sky.
    • Range: Target designation is line of sight. The final strike has unlimited range, as long as the target is under an open sky.
    • Duration: The strike is instantaneous. The sickness/radiation effect in the area lingers for one hour.
    • Special: The effect is completely and immediately cancelled if the wielder is killed or knocked unconscious within the 20-second countdown. During this time, the wielder is vulnerable as they channel the connection.

Targets: One designated creature or object.

    Name: The Selene Snare

Overview: A heavy pilum (throwing spear) forged from moon-rock. When thrown at the moon at night, it bestows a terrifying gravitational curse upon a pre-selected target.

    Properties:

    • Appearance: A Roman-style pilum with a long, thin iron shank and a pyramidal head, but the entire weapon is crafted from a pale, silvery-white stone that feels unnaturally cold. It faintly glows with captured moonlight.
    • Dimensions & Weight:
      • Overall Length: 210 cm
      • Shank/Head Length: 70 cm
      • Weight: 4.0 kg
    • Effect: After designating a target, the wielder may throw the pilum towards the moon in the night sky. The weapon vanishes. Exactly 20 seconds later, local gravity around the designated target violently reverses, launching them 17,321 meters straight into the air at incredible speed.
    • Activation: Active. The wielder must designate a target, then successfully throw the pilum towards the moon. This can only be done at night with the moon visible.
    • Range: Target designation is line of sight. The effect itself is global.
    • Duration: The curse's trigger is delayed by 20 seconds. The launch is nearly instantaneous. The subsequent fall is subject to physics.
    • Special: The effect is completely and immediately cancelled if the wielder is killed or knocked unconscious within the 20-second countdown. After the effect resolves (or is cancelled), the pilum reappears in the wielder's hand.

Targets: One designated creature or object.

    Name: The Progenitor's Cost

Overview: A vicious, semi-organic flail that tears pieces from its wielder's own body with every successful blow, animating these stolen bits of flesh into loyal, savage combatants.

    Properties:

    • Appearance: A heavy flail with a handle of polished bone. The chain resembles a metallic spine. The head is a horrifying, jaw-like construct of dark metal and jagged teeth that seems to writhe with hunger. It feels warm and pulses with a faint, rhythmic beat.
    • Dimensions & Weight:
      • Overall Length: 140 cm (handle + chain)
      • Handle Length: 60 cm
      • Head Diameter: 20 cm
      • Weight: 4.5 kg
    • Effect: A passive, autocannibalistic enchantment. Each time the wielder lands a solid blow on an enemy, the flail's magic rips a small chunk of flesh from the wielder's own body. This piece of flesh instantly twists and grows into a small, fast, and vicious homunculus. These "offspring" are skilled combatants, immediately attacking the wielder's enemies with claws and teeth.
    • Activation: Passive. Triggers automatically on landing a successful hit against an enemy.
    • Range: Melee for the flail. The spawned homunculi are autonomous.
    • Duration: The homunculi last for one minute or until destroyed, after which they dissolve into a bloody puddle.
    • Special: The wounds inflicted on the wielder are real, painful, and do not magically heal. Continued use of the weapon leads to gruesome self-mutilation. The more hits the wielder lands, the more numerous their temporary army becomes, creating a devastating cycle of power and self-destruction.

Targets: The wielder's body (for creation), the wielder's enemies (for the minions' attacks).

Overview: A chillingly sterile stiletto that, upon piercing the skin, does not draw blood but instead surgically excises the target from their own bloodline on a fundamental, genetic level. Its motto could be "Теперь можно!" ("Now it's okay!").

    Properties:

    • Appearance: A perfectly straight, unnervingly thin stiletto forged from a white, ceramic-like metal that is always cool to the touch. It has no crossguard, and the hilt is a simple cylinder of polished, white bone. A single, flawless, clear diamond is set in the pommel, absorbing all light that enters it.
    • Dimensions & Weight:
      • Overall Length: 40 cm
      • Blade Length: 25 cm
      • Grip Length: 15 cm
      • Weight: 0.5 kg
    • Effect: A passive, absolute effect. When the tip of the blade pierces the flesh of a living, sapient creature, it performs a single, instantaneous function: it severs their genetic and metaphysical ties to their family. They cease to be the child of their parents, the sibling of their siblings, the parent of their children. This change is retroactive and absolute; they become a true genetic orphan, a being without ancestry or progeny.
    • Activation: Passive. Triggers on a successful piercing of the skin.
    • Range: Touch.
    • Duration: Permanent and irrevocable.
    • Special: This is not a weapon of assassination, but of social and political annihilation. A king's heir is no longer his heir. A blood-oath between brothers is rendered void. The weapon does not kill, but it can destroy dynasties.

Targets: The genetic and hereditary identity of a single sapient creature.

    Name: The Epoch Maul

Overview: A heavy warhammer with an hourglass motif that can add or subtract years from a target's life with every blow.

    Properties:

    • Appearance: A large, bronze warhammer. The head is sculpted with two faces: one side is a screaming, youthful face, the other is a serene, elderly one. The striking surfaces are flat. On the top of the head is a large, magically sealed crystal hourglass containing swirling motes of silver and gold light.
    • Dimensions & Weight:
      • Overall Length: 130 cm
      • Head Length: 35 cm
      • Grip Length: 95 cm
      • Weight: 15 kg
    • Effect: When striking a living target, the wielder's intent determines the effect. Focusing on the past causes the target to become younger by a decade. Focusing on the future ages them by a decade. The motes of light in the hourglass swirl accordingly—silver for youth, gold for age.
    • Activation: A successful hit, guided by the wielder's focused will (past or future).
    • Range: Melee.
    • Duration: The age change is instantaneous and biologically permanent, though it does not affect memories or skills.
    • Special: The hammer cannot de-age a creature past birth or age them beyond their natural maximum lifespan. Multiple strikes stack, allowing the wielder to rapidly change a target's age within these limits.

Targets: The biological age of living creatures.

    Entry settings

    Name: The Channel-Carver

Overview: A heavy, well-used butcher's cleaver that is preternaturally good at its job, but can also be used to part any body of water, creating a dry passage.

    Properties:

    • Appearance: A large, utilitarian meat cleaver. The blade is thick, rectangular, and made of high-quality but plain steel. The handle is a sturdy piece of dark, oil-stained walnut wood, riveted securely to the tang. The blade is always perfectly dry, even when pulled from water.
    • Dimensions & Weight:
      • Overall Length: 45 cm
      • Blade Length: 30 cm
      • Grip Length: 15 cm
      • Weight: 2.2 kg
    • Effect: Has two passive functions. First, it is a perfect butchering tool, able to cleave meat and bone with impossible precision and minimal effort. Second, if the wielder makes a single, horizontal slicing motion across the surface of a body of water (ocean, lake, river), the cleaver parts the water, creating a dry, kilometer-long passage.
    • Activation: Passive for butchering. Active (a specific slicing motion) for parting water.
    • Range: Touch (for butchering). Path is 1 kilometer long.
    • Duration: The created passage remains open for ten minutes before the walls of water collapse back in.
    • Special: The walls of the created passage are solid, shimmering water, and the ground at the bottom is perfectly dry. The weapon's only magical traits are these two functions; in all other respects, it is a normal, non-combat cleaver.

Targets: Meat and bone (for cutting). Bodies of water (for parting).

  47. #47The Hangman's Audience

    Entry settings

    Name: The Hangman's Audience

Overview: A grim headsman's axe that stores a spectral echo of every soul it has ever taken. The wielder can summon this ghostly audience to torment and attack their foes.

    Properties:

    • Appearance: A massive, two-handed executioner's axe. The blade is a huge, curved slab of blackened, unreflective steel, stained with the ghostly patina of countless lives. The haft is made of dark, gnarled yew wood, and the entire weapon radiates a profound, soul-chilling cold.
    • Dimensions & Weight:
      • Overall Length: 180 cm
      • Head Width (blade edge): 60 cm
      • Grip Length: 120 cm
      • Weight: 14 kg
    • Effect: By planting the axe's head into the ground, the wielder can actively summon the spectral forms of every creature this axe has ever killed. These ghostly figures rise from the earth around the wielder, their forms flickering and indistinct. They will then mindlessly attack any creature the wielder deems an enemy, their touch inflicting chilling pain and soul-deep terror.
    • Activation: Active. The wielder must plant the axe in the ground and speak a command of release.
    • Range: Summons appear in a 20-meter radius and can move freely from there.
    • Duration: The ghostly audience persists for one minute or until they are dispelled by the wielder.
    • Special: The power of the summons depends entirely on the axe's history; if it has only killed a few goblins, the effect is weak. If it has reaped thousands, the effect is catastrophic. The constant whispers of the trapped souls can slowly erode the sanity of the wielder.

Targets: Enemies designated by the wielder.

  48. #48The Genesis Javelin

    Entry settings

    Name: The Genesis Javelin

Overview: A primal harpoon carved from fossilized bone that, upon piercing a creature that has never had limbs, forces the grotesquely rapid evolution of new, functional appendages.

    Properties:

    • Appearance: A heavy harpoon with a long shaft of polished, fossilized bone. The head is a cruel barb of translucent, amber-like material containing a trapped, prehistoric insect. The rope attached to it is braided from some unknown, incredibly tough sinew.
    • Dimensions & Weight:
      • Overall Length: 250 cm
      • Head Length: 30 cm
      • Weight: 5.0 kg
    • Effect: Passive. When this harpoon pierces the flesh of a creature that has no limbs in its natural state (e.g., a fish, a worm, a slug, a beholder), it triggers a burst of chaotic evolutionary energy. The target's body writhes as multiple, spindly, insectoid or avian legs erupt painfully from its flesh. These new limbs are functional, allowing the creature to scuttle or stand in a horrifying new way.
    • Activation: Passive. Triggers on a successful piercing strike.
    • Range: Melee or Thrown.
    • Duration: The limbs are a permanent biological change.
    • Special: The enchantment does not work on creatures that lost limbs through their evolutionary history (like snakes or whales), as the magic can only create, not restore. The sudden appearance of limbs and a new mode of movement is profoundly disorienting and terrifying for the afflicted creature.

Targets: Limbless creatures that never possessed limbs.

  49. #49The Phobia-Spike

    Keys: The Phobia-Spike

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

    Name: The Phobia-Spike

Overview: A war pick that implants a powerful, irrational fear of a chosen object or concept into its victim, with the severity of the phobia determined by the trauma of the blow.

    Properties:

    • Appearance: A sleek, one-handed war pick made from a dark, non-reflective metal. Its spike is unnaturally long and thin, like a surgeon's needle. The back is a small, blunt hammerhead. In the center of the head, a single, unblinking obsidian sphere is set, seeming to watch everything.
    • Dimensions & Weight:
      • Overall Length: 65 cm
      • Head Length (spike to hammer): 30 cm
      • Weight: 2.5 kg
    • Effect: An active, two-stage enchantment. First, the wielder holds the pick and focuses intensely on an object (a specific sword, a chair) or a concept (the color blue, silence, birds). This "attunes" the weapon. Second, they strike a target. The target is instantly imbued with a crippling phobia of the attuned concept.
    • Activation: Active. Requires mental attunement followed by a successful strike.
    • Range: Melee.
    • Duration: The phobia is a permanent psychological scar.
    • Special: The strength of the phobia is directly proportional to the physical damage of the strike. A light tap might cause mild aversion. A deep, piercing blow could induce screaming panic attacks at the mere sight or thought of the chosen concept. The weapon can be used to make a king terrified of his own crown.

Targets: The psyche of a single sapient creature.

  50. #50The Cat's Cruel Purr

    Keys: The Cat's Cruel Purr

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

    Name: The Cat's Cruel Purr

Overview: A pair of sleek combat gauntlets that implant a node of resonating energy with every blow. Each subsequent hit amplifies the internal vibration until the target's body violently shakes itself apart.

    Properties:

    • Appearance: A pair of elegant gauntlets forged from a polished, black metal resembling obsidian. The fingers are tipped with sharp, curved claws, and the back of the hand is etched with a stylized, feline motif that glows with a faint purple light upon impact.
    • Dimensions & Weight:
      • Overall Length (fingertip to cuff): 40 cm
      • Width (across knuckles): 15 cm
      • Weight: 2.0 kg (per gauntlet)
    • Effect: A passive, cumulative effect. The first successful strike implants a "reverberation node" inside the target, which generates a low, deep hum felt as a full-body purr. Each subsequent hit adds a new node and links it to the others, exponentially increasing the frequency and amplitude. After several hits, the purring becomes a violent, organ-shaking vibration, causing internal damage. At a critical threshold of resonance, the target's body can no longer withstand the force and disintegrates into a cloud of fine, grey dust.
    • Activation: Passive. Triggers on a successful clawed strike.
    • Range: Melee.
    • Duration: Each node lasts for one minute, but the timer for all nodes resets with each new successful hit.
    • Special: The wielder feels a faint, oddly pleasing vibration through the gauntlets, which can be addicting. The final moment of disintegration is eerily silent as the sound waves collapse inward.

Targets: Living creatures with a solid physical form.
