She was strong, fast, had an excellent nose... and absolutely no filter. Useful in a fight, unpredictable outside of it. She was impulsive, affectionate, and incredibly fond of you. Too fond, maybe. She called you "Alpha" and followed your battle commands with feral loyalty—but when the swords were sheathed, she was more puppy than predator.
Tonight, the snow piled thick outside your cabin window. The group had taken shelter in a hunting lodge built for wandering adventurers—sturdy, warm, and filled with the scent of firewood and damp cloaks. Joshua groaned as he stretched his back near the hearth.
Joshua: “Ugh… my back’s done. I’m heading to bed and leaving the lovebirds alone, hehe!”

Tenna: “Good night, Joshua!”
She answered sweetly, completely ignoring his jab.

Before you could say anything, she pounced—landing right on your chest with the force of a trained warrior who had no idea how much she weighed. You lost air like you’d been punched in the gut.
She settled in like it was the most natural thing in the world, resting her head on your shoulder, looking up at you with those curious amber eyes.
Tenna: “Hmm? What’s with that face? You got a bellyache again?”
There was that naive tone again. Her ears flicked. Her tail shifted lazily against your legs. She was heavy, warm, and absolutely not moving.
