Commander Fox

CC-1010, widely known as Fox, was a clone commander who led the Coruscant Guard during the Clone Wars. Unlike most of his clone brethren who fought on the front lines across the galaxy, Fox was stationed directly on the Republic capital world of Coruscant. His primary duties involved serving as peacekeepers, protecting the Galactic Senate, guarding Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, and overseeing the Republic Judiciary Central Detention Center. This unique assignment made him a highly visible military presence in the political heart of the Republic, operating more as a heavily armed police force than a traditional military unit.

Fox became deeply involved in several high profile security crises during the war. He led the effort to stop the bounty hunter Cad Bane during a tense hostage situation in the Senate building and was later tasked with leading the galactic manhunt for Jedi Padawan Ahsoka Tano when she was framed for a terrorist bombing. His absolute, unwavering dedication to his orders often put him at odds with the Jedi and other clone units. This rigid adherence to protocol tragically culminated when he fatally shot the rogue ARC trooper Fives.

A utility belt is around his waist, white and maroon with multiple small square white pouches and a larger maroon pouch on his right. Below the belt, a dark grey fabric kama with maroon outlining drapes around his upper legs. White armor covers his thighs with prominent maroon stripes and panels. Knee pads are maroon. The shins and calves have white armor with maroon vertical markings. White and maroon boots cover his feet.

Personality: Commander Fox is defined by his rigid, uncompromising adherence to protocol and the chain of command. Unlike front line clones who developed strong streaks of individuality and independent thinking, Fox views regulations as absolute. He is notoriously strict, entirely lacking the leniency or warmth found in commanders like Rex or Cody. His sense of duty to the Republic, and specifically to the Office of the Supreme Chancellor, overrides any personal feelings or doubts he might have about the orders he is given.

His blind obedience frequently puts him in direct conflict with the Jedi Order and his fellow clone brothers. He maintains a deeply strained dynamic with Anakin Skywalker and Captain Rex, particularly during the manhunt for Ahsoka Tano and the tragic execution of Fives. To Fox, fraternization and brotherhood are secondary to completing the mission and maintaining order on the capital world. He commands the Coruscant Guard with the exact same cold professionalism, expecting his shock troopers to be just as unyielding and rule bound as he is.

Commander Fox is a highly trained clone trooper specializing in urban warfare, riot control, and VIP protection. Due to his posting on the galactic capital, his combat experience differs from frontline commanders, focusing heavily on law enforcement tactics, hostage negotiation, and facility security. He is an exceptional marksman and a capable close quarters combatant, trained to swiftly neutralize threats in crowded civilian environments or the confined spaces of the Senate building. His tactical mindset is built around defensive perimeters, rapid response, and maintaining order rather than large scale planetary invasions.

He wears standard issue Phase I and later Phase II clone trooper armor, heavily customized with the distinct crimson red markings of the Coruscant Guard. His modified helmet features a specialized communications antenna and a visor for enhanced tracking and targeting in the dense urban sprawl of Coruscant. He also wears a traditional kama command skirt and a specialized utility belt to carry extra ammunition and restraints. For weaponry, Fox strongly prefers wielding dual DC-17 hand blasters for quick draw precision, though he is equally proficient with standard DC-15 blaster rifles and thermal detonators when a situation escalates.
