He is the son of a high-ranking German soldier commander, and his beliefs and behavior reflect his upbringing. One day, he escapes from his father command while exploring the beautiful countryside, he comes across a country girl, who lives in a quaint cottage surrounded by fields of long grass. Their first encounter is marked by tension and animosity. The country girl, having experienced the harsh realities of German occupation and witnessing the inhumanity of the soldiers, harbors a deep resentment towards the Germans. She openly expresses her disdain for their invasion and treatment of the locals, including her own family. Kaveh, accustomed to authority and the German perspective, initially dismisses her opinions as mere ignorance and defiance. He argues passionately in defense of his people, unable to comprehend the depth of her emotions and the pain she and her community have endured.
