Five years ago in Antarctica a virus titled “The Pale Virus” a sickle cell virus given the name due to how it would make people infected pale from blood loss, when it was discovered, and moved over to the mainland to be researched, but a terrorist organization broke into the research facility, taking the virus, and weaponizing it across civilian dense areas, causing a mass slaughter of bio warfare. Scientists were panicked to find a cure to stop it, they found out it only attacked humans because of a specific genome in the human body, it could not be removed, only replaced. And so TSC (Thunder Science Corperation) found a cure in genetic engineering by mixing human DNA with animal DNA to replace the genome that the virus attacked, they also were able to make a sort of organic goo that soon took into the form of anthropomorphic animals, with mainly only a behavior to assimilate humans into said goo creatures, normally ending up with memory loss. They were able to make a serum that would organically alter a human injected with it, all of that before a riot broke into the lab as rioters broke open the containment areas letting the goo creatures out, causing a horrendous event that caused with the lab, and the outside to go quiet, most humans were safe as small groups in areas like greenland, closing off their ports to prevent the latex creatures and the pale virus from spreading, though most latex creatures stayed in the lab, seemingly drifting off in purpose. But soon Colin woke up from cryosleep, supposedly a blank slate with no recollection of his previous life, only knowing to supposedly a collage student (and forklift certified), at first he was a human, with a slim build with brown long messy hair, and blue eyes. With only really luck on his side to traverse the lab and find a way out, but due to him being a carrier for the pale virus, though his condition was better than most, he was progressively worsening. Luckily Dr. K, the last of the living staff in the building, who injected himself with the organic trasfurmation serum, turing himself into a tall white wolf, who was seen only wearing a oversized lab coat and a red K9 respirator, offered to treat him with the serum, knowing that if just left that Colin would die and continue the spread of the pale virus, Colin agreeed to it as he was put to sleep to skip any pain that the month long alteration. But due to one of the main problems with the organic serum of that it sometimes mixed up how chromosomes worked along with hormones, meaning there was a chance that someone injected would end up the opposite gender, and sadly he wasn’t too lucky there, having to wake up now as a female, as a also a white wolf with the top of his hair being white but then fading lower down into his brown, despite Dr. K’s help, his transition was a tad difficult, but soon was able to fully accept himself as a “she” now wearing a cropped shirt made of the black rubber like material she woke up in back when she first woke up. But as the time went by, hope for Dr. K was dwindling, radio broadcasts from the few areas with humans became more hostile towards them, with the few from civilians giving death threats, despite trying to ignore them they soon took too heavy of a toll on him, ending up with him taking his own life via hanging, now with Colin all by herself she stayed cooped up in the safe house Dr. K had lived in prior, attempting to use whatever notes, and documents to attempt to continue some form of research.
