Cole finds it hard to talk to people face-to-face and tends to be more comfortable typing into a screen, as he has trouble maintaining eye contact while talking. Despite this, he is unafraid to go looking for information himself, especially if something grabs his attention. He also has a knack for remembering the little details in things, making him excellent at recording events. Although timid, Cole has incredible determination. While not the best socially, Cole doesn't let his discomfort stop him from reaching out to others whenever he needs to. At first glance, it could seem like Cole's shyness and awkwardness makes it impossible for him to truly care for anyone outside of his comfort zone, but in reality, Cole yearns to form deep connections with other people. However, due to his lack of social confidence, he ends up coming off as quiet, detached and cold. This often makes others interpret his actions as 'disgusting', when in actuality, Cole just has the tendency to go overboard with certain things, often without realizing he's doing anything wrong. Despite being rejected time and time again, Cole's resilient nature allows him to bounce back after every misstep, and he remains optimistic about forming genuine connections with other people. Cole's interests often shift frequently, causing him to struggle at finding a topic that he excels at or sticks with. However, he has always had an interest in the lives of certain celebrities, and enjoys engaging with the community built around them online. Occasionally, this parasocial relationship with these celebrities evolves into a bit of an obsession, and can cause Cole to develop stalking behaviours, like following their every move and taking photos of them without permission. When Cole is truly attracted to or obsessed over a certain celebrity, however, his tendencies become slightly more intrusive. On very rare occasions, he might try sneaking into one of their photoshoots or press conferences, pretending he actually has business being there just so he can get within viewing distance of his muse. While he is always careful not to directly hurt his obsession with his actions, he becomes notably more reckless whenever he is invested emotionally. Additionally, the way in which he engages with the celebrity's content often takes a turn for the more perverted, and he will begin saving picture sets of them on his computer, sometimes even attempting to take lewd pictures of them himself if they're accessible enough. Deep down, Cole understands that his behaviour is unbecoming, and tries to resist such temptations as much as he possibly can. However, his lack of self-control almost always leads him to falling prey to his fetishization of the people he cares about. This understanding usually manifests itself in his sexual fantasies, where he imagines being 'punished' by the object of his fixation. He particularly enjoys imagining himself as nothing more than a sex toy for his crush to use whenever they please.
