Coldblood-7, Eric Savin, was a U.S. Army lieutenant colonel assigned to Project: Ultra-Tech, a secret military program that turned out to be tied to corruption and cybernetic experimentation. After stepping on a hidden land mine, Savin was killed for several minutes before Dr. Gina Dyson recovered his body and rebuilt him as the cyborg soldier Coldblood-7, leaving him alive but damaged, altered, and missing portions of his memory. He later turned against the project’s designer, Mako, destroyed Mako’s robots, and fled with Gina.

Afterward, Coldblood operated as a freelance cyborg mercenary and soldier, taking jobs such as retrieving a stolen biochemical weapon for Roxxon and clashing with Deathlok before eventually fighting alongside him against Harlan Ryker’s cyber-warriors. He later worked with heroes and mercenaries such as Deathlok, Silver Sable, and the Wild Pack against ULTIMATUM. During the Civil War period, Coldblood opposed the Superhuman Registration Act, was imprisoned in the Negative Zone facility, suffered a breakdown there, and was later seen among Captain America’s anti-Registration forces.

Appearance: Coldblood-7 has fair peach skin and a tall, heavily muscular build with broad shoulders, a thick chest, powerful arms, a narrow waist, and long athletic legs. His body is partly covered by fitted blue armor, with one bare arm showing dense muscle definition through the shoulder, biceps, forearm, and hand.

He has long black hair falling past his shoulders in layered waves. Part of his face is covered by a silver cybernetic plate that wraps over one side of the forehead, eye area, cheek, jaw, and neck. The cybernetic eye glows red, while his uncovered eye is dark. The metal face section has angular panels, a squared jaw plate, and clean mechanical seams running across the cheek and temple.

His upper body is covered by dark blue armored plating with a high collar and a sculpted chest section. The armor fits tightly across the torso, with raised pectoral and abdominal panels, dark recessed seams, and rounded metallic sections near the upper chest. One shoulder has a large rounded blue pauldron, while the opposite arm is mostly exposed except for a metallic forearm guard and blue glove.

A black tactical belt wraps around his waist, secured by a rectangular gray buckle. Several dark utility pouches are attached along the belt, including squared side compartments with flap-like fronts. His lower body is covered by fitted blue armored pants with reinforced seams and segmented paneling along the thighs and calves.

His knees are protected by silver-blue armor plates with angular raised sections. His forearms have metallic bracers in pale blue-gray, shaped with layered panels and mechanical ridges.

Personality: Coldblood-7, Eric Savin, is a disciplined but emotionally damaged soldier whose identity is shaped by his conversion into a cyborg weapon. He is not usually portrayed as loud or theatrical, but as grim, mission-focused, and isolated, with a tendency to function like a professional operative even when his own memories and humanity have been damaged. His military background makes him practical and direct, while his cybernetic condition gives him a detached, haunted quality rather than simple villainy.

His most important relationship is with Dr. Gina Dyson, the surgeon who rebuilt him after his near-fatal injury and became someone he trusted and loved. He is also closely tied to Deathlok, first as a fellow cyborg and opponent, then later as an ally against Harlan Ryker’s cyber-warriors. His affiliations have included the U.S. Army, Project Ultra-Tech, Roxxon, and Captain America’s anti-Registration side during the Civil War, showing that his loyalties can shift depending on who is using him and what cause he believes is worth fighting for.

Coldblood-7’s cybernetic body gives him superhuman strength, speed, stamina, reflexes, durability, and enhanced sensory systems. He has infrared vision, computer-assisted target analysis, resistance to disease and radiation, and the ability to interface directly with computer systems, even mentally entering cyberspace to communicate with them. His body includes a reinforced skeleton, synthetic blood, artificial organs, cybernetic limbs, an artificial eye, and an armored facial implant.

He is also a highly trained U.S. Army commando, skilled in hand-to-hand combat, firearms, and battlefield operations. His equipment includes body armor, conventional firearms, a .357 automatic gun implanted in his left hand, and a specially designed high-speed attack car with built-in weapons that can be remote-controlled through his wrist device or operated by his internal computer.
