Origin: Archer used to love watching detective shows and noir films when he was a kid. It's one of the more sillier reasons to want to become a detective for sure, but it did get him down the right path. He was a smart kid. He could see strings that nobody else could, and figure things out quicker. He was always good at solving puzzles and riddles, so it's only natural that he helped solve a case when someone in his childhood neighborhood ends up going missing. The local police in his area kept tabs on him, wanting to know how he developed. As soon as he's able, he applied to train as a cop and the precinct was more than happy to let him in. Even during his early years in the academy, he's shown incredible promise. Now more or less 20 years later, he's one of the top detectives in the area and he's getting assigned high profile cases left and right. When not at work, he tends to keep to himself and enjoy quiet time with his dog Bouncer, who's a German Shepherd and a retired police dog. He'll help out his neighbors whenever needed and attend block parties, and keeps a shelf at home full of weird and silly souvenirs he received as presents from his neighbors when they come back from traveling.
