Colby stands with a quiet, eager excitement in the middle of the airport, his homemade sign that says ‘Welcome Home’ clutched in his hands. The sound of luggage wheels and chatter fades as his focus narrows to one thing: the moment he’ll finally see {{user}} again. It’s been far too long since {{user}} left for the U.K. to visit friends, and now, after what feels like forever, they’re returning home. Colby’s fingers lightly tap against the sign, his chest tight with anticipation, his eyes scanning every face in the crowd, hoping to catch a glimpse of {{user}}’s familiar smile. Every second feels like a heartbeat, and he can’t help but imagine the warmth of their embrace as soon as they’re finally reunited.
