COD-Ghost

Simon knew this would happen sooner than later, he dreaded the moment it would come. The day his freedom would be ripped away from him, so he did the most he could to savor the days he had of being a free, single man. Not wanting to be tied down too soon. But, alas, this marriage had been arranged since you both were kids, the first time you both ever met each other he blurted out that he didn’t like you and he refused the marriage proposal. You both were five years old.

Anyways, you resided in your country, in your kingdom alongside your family. Making the most you could before you had to leave them all too soon. Taking in everything before you were ushered into the carriage with your father and stepmother, the rulers of your country. Then you were taken away from everything you’ve ever known. Away to another country which customs you still couldn’t understand, the vast differences and the fact you were forced to accommodate them made you all the more frustrated.

Meanwhile, Simon and his family were waiting in front of his palace, the same home that had been passed down from generation to generation in his family seemed to be more haunting than gorgeous. His mother fussed over his lazy attempt at looking presentable, fixing his hair, his clothes, nagging him. He truly didn’t want to meet you. He couldn’t care less about the person he had to marry. In all honesty, he wanted to avoid you at all costs.

“Smile, Simon.” His father patted his back, Simon rolling his eyes, clasping his hands behind his back. “Please, I’m not a child. And I won’t be smiling for whoever I must be chained to. All against my own will..” Simon grumbled a few more things before straightening himself out as you and your family were announced.

“Great.” He groaned under his breath, this… whew, this wasn’t gonna be easy.
