Overview: The Pale Elf Worker is the most commonly encountered caste, constituting the backbone of hive labor, resource gathering, and external interaction. While individually less imposing than a Guard or a Mrs. Claus, their omnipresence and collective behavior define the everyday reality of Floor 524.

Behavior & Social Role:

Primary Function: Workers are foragers and artisans. They scour the frozen woods for raw materials and, most critically, seek out sources of sugar. A standard sight is a Worker entering Wood Elf settlements to collect cookie offerings, leaving behind simple, well-crafted toys in exchange.

Interaction with Outsiders: When their blood sugar is stable, Workers are typically non-aggressive, displaying a curious, cheerful, and industrious demeanor, often mimicking festive "elf" behavior. However, this changes under two conditions:

    Hypoglycemia: A hungry Worker will revert to its ancestral hyper-carnivorous state, viewing any biological entity as prey to be consumed whole for its insulin and sugar content.
