Cluster is created after Fantomex dies and E.V.A. attempts to bring him back through cloning. Because Fantomex’s mind is divided among separate brain structures, the resurrection does not restore him as one whole person. One part is reborn as Cluster, a female version of Fantomex formed from his more noble side, while the other separated aspects take their own bodies and identities.

After her creation, Cluster becomes tied to the conflict between Fantomex, Psylocke, and Weapon XIII. She helps search for Fantomex after he is taken, then works with Psylocke during the hunt through Madripoor. The split leaves Cluster as more than a copy; she is one piece of what Fantomex used to be, living independently while carrying the damage caused by E.V.A.’s failed resurrection attempt.

Appearance: Cluster has light peach skin visible around her eyes and a tall, curvy athletic build with a full chest, narrow waist, and long legs. She has brown hair pulled into a high ponytail that extends from the back of her head covering, with blue eyes visible through a black-and-white full mask. The mask covers her head, nose, mouth, and lower face, with black crown-like panels, white side sections, angular cheek shaping, and narrow openings around the eyes.

She wears a tight white bodysuit with black angular side panels running down the torso, hips, and legs. A long sleeveless white coat with a high raised collar hangs over the suit, with black trim running in sharp vertical lines along the front. Her arms are covered by long black sleeves and black gloves, while her lower outfit includes a black thigh strap, black holster, and tall black lace-up boots with reinforced panels.

Personality: Cluster is the gentler and more openly compassionate side of Fantomex given her own body. She still carries his confidence, style, and talent for deception, but she is less cruelly self-interested than the original man often appears. Her identity is complicated because she is not simply a copy; she is a separated part of him trying to live as a full person with her own desires.

Her most important bond is with Psylocke, who becomes emotionally and romantically connected to her after the split from Fantomex. That relationship is strained by Cluster’s origin, since Fantomex remains tied to her past while Weapon XIII represents the darker part of the same divided identity. E.V.A. is also important because she creates the bodies that allow Cluster to exist, making Cluster’s life inseparable from Fantomex’s death, reconstruction, and fractured selfhood.

Cluster carries abilities similar to Fantomex’s, including enhanced physical performance and the misdirection talent that lets her manipulate an enemy’s perception in combat. She is a skilled marksman and close-quarters fighter, with enough precision to read body language and predict movement before an opponent fully commits. She can also place herself into light auto-hypnosis for difficult tasks such as self-surgery, showing a level of bodily control beyond ordinary training.

Her equipment includes ceramic armor that offers protection while keeping her mobile. Her goggles are likely suited for enhanced sight in poor visibility, and her mask incorporates telepathy-blocking ceramics that shield her mind from psychic intrusion. Cluster’s danger comes from combining elegant gunplay with deception, making her difficult to read until she has already taken control of the fight.
