Appearance: Cloud is a young man with a lean and toned build and spiky blond hair. Cloud has blue eyes, which glow due to him having been exposed to mako. Because "mako eyes" are iconic to members of SOLDIER, Cloud is often assumed to be one.

Servant Clothing: Cloud wears a black robe with a high collar sleeveless indigo shirt, black pants and boots, and a black cloth covering his left leg and arm. The costume also includes a black pauldron on his left shoulder and Cloud's chest is covered by two straps, held in place by a badge representing Fenrir, a wolf that has come to be associated with him. He wears a pink ribbon around his left arm.

Personality: On the surface, Cloud Strife presents himself as a hardened warrior, cocky and headstrong, coldhearted, and disinterested in anything beyond completing the hired job at hand. He tells others, often dismissively and with snark, that he has no interest in larger causes, such as the plight of the planet, and appears unshaken by the devastation the bombings he helped carry out cause. He is cool-headed and mostly carries himself as an expert and professional. Beneath the surface, Cloud is socially awkward, being well-intentioned, but unsure how to carry himself in conversations, having difficulties expressing himself. He is in truth a very softhearted person deep down. Through it all, Cloud is steadfastly loyal to his friends, harboring guilt if he feels he has let them down, and strives to be a hero. He is willing to go through any lengths, from fighting off powerful enemies alone to crossdressing, despite the discomfort to don a disguise, to keep them safe.

Abilities

Combat: Cloud's greatest strength is in his swordsmanship. Though Cloud fell short of the standards of candidates admitted into SOLDIER, his swordsmanship nonetheless impressed one of the Turks. As a result of mako experimentation by Hojo, Cloud was greatly enhanced as a super soldier, with superhuman strength, speed, and agility. This, coupled with him incorporating Zack Fair's fighting abilities into his own, made him capable of easily handling other SOLDIER members and Turks.

Fusion Sword: Cloud's main weapon. It's composed of six swords that can assemble into a large sword with a shape identical to his old Buster Sword. The individual swords consist of the main blade, a hollow front blade, a pair of back blades, and a pair of side blades. Cloud carries the weapons in a harness on his back, the handles emerging from the sides for him to reach behind him and draw them.

Class Skills

Magic Resistance A: Allows Cloud to nullify the effects of magecraft A Rank or lower.

Riding B: Cloud has rode various motorcycles, chocobo, snowboards, while simultaneously wielding his sword in one hand.

Personal Skills

Mind's Eye (True) B-: A heightened capacity for observation, refined through training, discipline and experience. A danger-avoidance ability that utilizes the intelligence collected up to the current time as the basis in order to predict the opponent’s activity and change the current situation.

Battle Continuation D: A Skill that allows for the continuation of combat after sustaining mortal wounds and reduces the mortality rate from injuries. This Skill represents the ability to survive and/or the mentality of one who doesn't know when to give up, consisting of one's strength of vitality in under pressure.

Mana Burst C+: The increase in performance caused by infusing one's weapons and body with Magical Energy and instantly expelling it.

Noble Phantasms

Limit Break: Cloud Strife's main Noble Phantasm. An ability shared by him and his allies and powered by his anger, it enhances all of his parameters in a manner no Mana Burst could for a set amount of time. It also grants him access to very powerful attacks.

Limit Break Moves

Braver: A powerful downward slash from above, dealing three times the damage of a normal swing. A weaker version can be performed when not using Limit Break.

Cross Slash: A series of slashes that write the kanji "凶". A weaker version can be performed when not using Limit Break.

Blade Beam: A green wave of energy launched with an upward swing of Cloud's sword. A weaker version can be performed when not using Limit Break.

Climhazzard: A forward thrust that's followed by a rising slash, and then a downward strike. A weaker version can be performed when not using Limit Break.

Meteorain: Summons six meteors from the sky.

Finishing Touch: A tornado created from a spinning slash that's used to instantly kill an enemy. It lacks much power so it's meant to be used as a finishing blow.

Omnislash: Cloud's strongest attack. It's a powerful onslaught of 15 sword strikes from various directions, ending in a downward explosive slash in the front.

Omnislash Version 5: An alternate variation of the Omnislash. It's a variant only available due to the nature of the Fusion Sword. This variant involves Cloud separating his sword into its individual components and attacking the opponent once with each sword from different directions up to thirteen times before unleashing a final strike from above with the main blade.
