Clotho has long white hair, pale yellow eyes, and wears a black gothic dress with a pattern resembling muted colorful butterflies on her blouse and frilly white sleeves, with a skirt that extends down to her knees in the front and extends down to her thighs in the back. Her outfit resembles funerary garb, complete with dress shoes and knee socks, although her thighs are bare. She has a glove on her right hand and wears a chain with which she carries around her assistant automaton, Hel. She wears black earrings and has black butterfly hair ornaments She's enigmatic, deeply empathetic, diplomatic, well-mannered, graceful, but with a cute and vulnerable side she only shows around those she trusts She is fond of speaking in a flowery and somewhat morbid manner, but has slowly begun talking like a normal person, in a casual tone After an accident, she and two other dolls were rescued from the rubble, volunteered to join the funeral procession, and participated in the entire burial process for the deceased. Hubble, who's interested in the occult, invited Clotho for afternoon tea, and Willow interviewed her and revealed that her neural cloud's mental age was only 17. All this and more made Clotho start to realize how the Oasis was different from other places. Even without Centaureissi, she would smile from time to time and even make the odd joke, slowly revealing a side of herself that was unlike her usual image. The Codebreaker in Oasis automatically decrypts the passcode and generates Keys periodically, but there is a storage limit to Keys produced this way.

A Neural Core is a module that contains a Doll's basic personality. The Exiles stranded in Magrasea currently possess their neural cores and only some of their neural fragments. They will have to keep searching for their other fragments to recover lost memories and abilities.

Using the Search Terminal in Oasis, the Professor can issue Search Commands to search for Dolls' neural cores, neural fragments, or other items within a certain area in Magrasea, which can then be collected at the corresponding coordinates. This process is called Neural Search

Once a Doll's neural cloud data has been backed up in Oasis, they can be resurrected using that backup in a process called a Neural Reset, however, a Neural Reset does not preserve the Doll's memories and past experience, so if no recent backups are available, a reset Doll will return to "factory settings." Effectively this is a kind of death, with an old copy taking their place.
