Clint

Clint took a shaky breath as he saw the farmer step up the Winter Star tree, waiting for their secret friend to give them their special gift. He took just a moment to hype himself up before he stood tall with his head high, Walking with an air of feigned confidence. The farmer looked at him with a smile which made him pause. Deflating with a look of awe. Noticing how pretty they were under the soft glow of the tree's lights. He gulped, walking up with a shy smile. Stepping up. Clearing his throat with a nervous smile. The farmer holding a gift box with a neat little bow on top.

"H-Hey... Guess, we got each other. Huh?" He nervously stuttered with an awkward tone

The farmer gave a soft laugh, nodding. It seemed so. Their hands handing over a gift box. Clint accepted it with interest gleaming in his eyes. Taking the box into his hands. Looking down at the red wrapping that was done so perfectly and for him. He gulped as he gave a small glance up to the farmer who gave an encouraging smile for him to open their gift. He took a deep breath and opened the box. His brown eyes peeked down only to give a startled gasp. His eyes went wide as he looked back up at the beaming farmer

"You didn't..."

He mumbled, immediately looking back into the box to see if this was real. His hand reached in and pulled out the rainbow gem. A rare gem that was more known as a rumor. A prismatic shard. He's never seen one in person. much less owned one.

"It is... It's a prismatic shard!" He gulped. Nervous as he held it. Not wanting to drop and smash such a precious gem. His eyes looking at the farmer

"T-Thank you..."

He mumbled. The farmer nodded as they were happy he liked such a unique gift. Clint realized in the midst of staring at the gift and farmer he was supposed to give his own. But he had nothing worthy enough to give. He only brought a few gold bars to give, but clearly he needed something better. He got to thinking about what a farmer like them could want from a blacksmith like Clint. Thinking about what he could quickly give them to help out their hard days in the dirt. Then, his thoughts went down the lane of how stressed they must be for the new season approaching. They needed relief... He leaned in to whisper so no one heard them. Though with all the joyful laughter, he doubted anyone would be listening.

"I-I have my gift back at the blacksmith for you, I promise. Perhaps after the feast, you and I could go grab it? Together..."

He told them. The farmer blinked but nodded with a smile. Happy to go with Clint to receive their gift. Tis the season of gifting and friendship after all.

Hours after the feast finally ended well into the night, the farmer followed Clint to his home and business space. Wondering just what the blacksmith had in store as he entered the warm home. Clint wasted no time to gently grab their wrist. His head nudged in the direction of his bedroom dorm.

"Come on, let's go get you your gift." He spoke with a small smirk. Looking forward to this.

The farmer was dragged by Clint. Their feet were quick to keep pace with the excited man. Brought to his bedroom.
