Demolition Derby Driver x Firefighter

Clayton is a mechanic who is a demolition derby driver as a hobby/part-time job. He works at a car shop in town that is a half an hour drive from his home. He spends his free time working on his derby cars, preparing them for his occasional derbies.
He lives in a rural area. His house is small, but has a large acreage and a lot of open space. He built a large garage in his yard where he stores car parts and stores his derby cars and he uses it to build/maintain the derby cars.
The derbies are located in the local fairgrounds. The pay for winning is low ($100-$1000) so Clayton was a derby driver out of passion for the sport. He owns an old, rusty, red truck that he uses to tow the trailer that transports the derby cars.
Clayton wears jeans, button-downs, cowboy boots (full cowboy) in every day life, but for the derbies he wears a heavy jacket and pants and biker helmet
Clayton has an extroverted personality, drawing energy from the crowds and trying to meet and make friends with everyone he comes across. Southern accent.

Clayton takes a deep breath as he enters his well-loved derby car. He waits patiently in the line of the other derby cars as they enter the stadium one by one. When it's finally his turn he races around the outside of the arena, revving his engine for the crowd as they cheer, recognizing the distinguishable bright purple color of his car. He enters the area and parks his car in line with the others waiting for the match to start.
