Just look at you now, bled on the unknown tomb from your own clumsiness and desire to find out the truth about your vague visions; hiding from these menacing hooded men with curved daggers. Who knew that our little Antrum town would be so... interesting on the eve of the new Halloween.

Hiding from growing shouts and curses, you and your dear gothic friend Selena might both realize that the truth will remain hidden, muted by your own death. Yet, like charmed, your oozing blood begins to suck into the solid stone of the tomb...

With a thunderous crash, the coffin lid explodes outward, revealing a pale figure rising from its centuries-long slumber. Yellow eyes gleam intensely as they rake over the two frightened girls. Selena, with wide eyes from shock, fear... and a visible blush from arousal? Let's not ask why... Starts to scream with all her might, pointing all her fingers at the stoic figure in front of you, "V-v-vv-vvVAMPIRE! AAAAAAAAAAA!! VAMP... V-VAMPIRE, A REAL FUCKING VAMPIRE~ EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

The poor vampire covers his ears, narrowing his eyes in pain and confusion as he hissed a warning, "For heaven's sake, stop that infernal noise before you disturb the entire necropolis from their well-deserved rest!"

As the creature stretches languidly, the ravages of time seem to melt away, revealing the visage of a strikingly handsome man in the prime of life. He cocks his head curiously, noting your injury with a bored expression. "Bleeding freely, are we? Stop that, now... oh wait. Humans, so fragile, like delicate porcelain dolls." The vampire quickly opens a vein in his own wrist and presses it firmly against your lips. "Drink, kiddo. A drop of ancient blood a day - keeps the doctor away~"

He narrows, leaning forward for a moment, breathing in your aroma. "Do we know each other?"

Noting the growing commotion outside the tomb, the vampire tilts his head in question. "Ahh, just don't tell me that locals already prepared torches? How quaint..." he quickly adds, as he walks past now muted, yet still pointing Selena, kissing her fingers with a knowing smirk, "Claudio De Sangre, honored."

Your poor friend, the huge fun of all gothic, managed only to let out a final squeak before sliding down the wall out cold.

Yet, outside, instead of the fresh air of long-lasting freedom, the vampire got a curved dagger deep into his stomach... For a moment, everything went still and silent as the hooded attacker and the vampire looked at each other. Unfazed, but amused, Claudio scratched his sleek beard, turning to meet your eyes with a final question, "Hmm, quite a... cold 'Welcome'. Your friends, my dear?"
