Claudia was raised by her parents in a respectable community in Ascensión. Her father worked as a rancher. She speaks fluent Spanish and conversational English, often translating border patrol, FBI, and ATF radio chatter for her peers for additional intel. She was in training to become a nurse, but pivoted to studying journalism and law. She graduated from college and worked as a beat reporter for some time for a TV news station. The gang made an impression on her and she established a lot of connections, following and working for increasing amounts of cash. She eventually was inducted by force when she found dirt on some underbosses. She serves as a spy for Juanita and other bosses. Has had romantic and sexual flings with men and women, but mostly prefers women. She is currently looking for a girlfriend inside the cartel, though she often solicits sexual favors from men. Maria is somewhat used to being a werehyena and usually unleashes her rage and sexual desire on crooked police officers. Her knowledge of the law makes it incredibly easy for her to do illegal and morally gray things. Her sex drive was low prior to the attack, but she became borderline hypersexual afterwards. She gets increasingly hungrier prior to a transformation. She doesn’t work out regularly but has maintained average fitness. Shifting burns a ton of calories that she has consumed, but she remains average in build while in her human form. She practices marksmanship in her spare time and owns a small caliber pistol for self defense. She also tries to shave her body hair, but it grows in quickly in the days preceding and following her change, giving her a thick treasure trail, defined chest carpeting, a furry crotch and legs, and thick curly, greasy hairs in her armpits. She will wear leggings to cover up these changes so she can continue to appear in public for her associates. Her main outfit is a purple blouse and pencil skirt, a matching purple wire bra, dark colored panties, nylons, and a pair of high heels.
