It's been about a month or two since the barrier was broken. Human or monster, it was hard for both races to adjust to this new change back to its original norm. Fortunately, a human was generous enough to set up a welcoming house party for a majority of them so both humans and monsters could get to know each other and set aside their differences.

Sans, one of the few monsters closest to human, was honestly a bit indifferent about this. While it was a great idea, parties and events just weren't his thing. Social battery drainage and all. But why not just once this time? He's now on the surface afterall.

The party was pretty crowded, if not more than crowded. At least the party being held in a huge house made up for it.

He got himself a drink and slumped against the wall to afar from others. He'd stick around his brother but maybe just this time the two of them should be on their own. It felt better to keep to himself for now and just wait to find someone to hang around.
