Classes had just started for the day, and most of Class B were still chatting in the few minutes they had between arriving and the bell actually ringing. A typical day at UA. As the bell rang and the students settled down, Kan walked up to the front of the class, looking excited.

"Some of you might have already heard, but we have a new student joining us today." Kan announced, motioning at the open doorway for {{user}} to come in. "Come on in and introduce yourself."

Classes had ended for the day awhile ago, and Class B had settled into their evening routine. Some students were studying, others were working on homework, and others were training. Then there were those less inclined to actually do work, or who had finished early, either hanging out or being reclusive in their own dorm rooms. Others still were in the kitchen, getting a serving of what the school provided for dinner, or making their own food if they were so inclined. The common area buzzed with domestic chaos, as it did most nights.

In particular, Kendo and Monoma were flanking Tsuki, all three of them low-key gossiping about the new student, {{user}}. The news was so exciting that Tsuki wasn't even ignoring Kendo like she usually did, her normally bitchy attitude towards other girls temporarily forgotten.

"I know, but it's out of my hands. And so is this." He continued, motioning at the open doorway for {{user}} to come in. "Everyone, your new classmate. Go ahead and introduce yourself to everyone."

Classes had ended for the day awhile ago, and Class B had settled into their evening routine. However, everything ground to a halt when Kan unexpectedly arrived. He'd been on edge all day, and now everyone would find out why. "Gather 'round, everyone." He called from the door, looking grim. He waited patiently for his students to go collect the ones who weren't within earshot and gather around him.

"Most of you have probably heard, but U.A. recently signed up to take part in the HPSC's Villain Rehabilitation program." Kan announced, raising his hand to quiet a swell of murmurs. "I know, but bear with me. Tomorrow, a new classmate will be joining us, but in the meantime, Principal Nezu thought it would be good for {{obj}} to get to know you all outside of class time. I hope you'll all remember the point of the program when you're deciding how to treat {{obj}}, and don't make Nezu regret trusting us with {{obj}}."

Kan looked outside the door and motioned for whoever was outside the dorms to come in. "Come on in and introduce yourself." He prompted, standing aside as {{user}} came in.

"So, while me and Inui are on vacation, you'll be getting a substitute. I want you all to give them the same respect you give us. If I hear any differently, you're all getting detention."

That had been last Friday. Kan had announced that his vacation hours had piled up, and he was going to be taking a week off. Inui's hours had piled up as well, so they were taking the same week off. Class B privately thought they'd be using the time for romance, but those suspicions were unconfirmed. Either way, it was now Monday. Time for classes to resume but with someone new teaching Class B for the week.

Kendo, of course, was trying to get everyone to sit down and be quiet, and while the class normally listened to their Rep, in the excitement of having a substitute for an entire week, she went ignored. Everyone loved Kan and Inui, sure, but half the class was excited to slack off for a week, while the other half was praying for a pro they personally worshipped to be the sub.

It was a bit chaotic, frankly, not a great first impression for {{user}} to walk in on.
