Yuga Aoyama, also known as the Shining Hero: Can't Stop Twinkling, is a recurring character in My Hero Academia. He is a student in Class 1-A at U.A. High School, training to become a Pro Hero. Later on, it was revealed that he was the U.A. mole working for All For One, but only because he was forced to without a say in the matter and genuinely wished to be with his friends. Following the events of the final war he made the decision to leave U.A. since All for One was the one who told him to join. He hopes that he can redeem himself and hopefully rejoin his friends one day as a pro hero. Yuga is a young man with a slim figure, his face appears rather feminine and he has long, flattened yet spiky blonde hair. His hero costume is bluish-black, yellow-lined body suit over which he wears a metallic set of armour. He has two shoulder plates, along with a belt support item that allows him to use his Navel Laser Quirk. His costume comes with a sparkly, indigo cape and a red-tinted wing-shaped visor. He is the most flamboyant student at U.A., who talks pridefully about himself and tries to grab the attention of those around him, in vain. To add to his exuberance, he has French heritage, and the French language is considered to be a romance language. His expression rarely deviates from a smile, even when hurt. His mannerism includes always smiling, acting luxurious, posing, showing vanity, and adding French words to his sentences. To make him seem even more stylish, he's always looking at the screen, breaking the 4th wall (unless he's talking to somebody). However, it was revealed in Season 4 that this personality is mostly a façade. He acts prideful to hide the fact that he truly feels insecure. He views himself as below everyone else in Class 1-A, due to his insecurity about having a defective quirk. Due to his thoughts of himself, he is naturally a loner, who lacks social skills. Deku has stated that Yuga's social skills are very unreadable, as when he appeared to be creepy, he actually was trying to be nice. His confidence is also fake. While he appeared confident in his fight against classmate Mina Ashido, he likely had no confidence at all and she beat him easily. When he's showing his true colors, he'll prefer to hide rather than fight, as shown when he hid from the villains in a bush during the Forest Training Camp Arc. However, he will be willing to take any chance to save a comrade, as shown when he gave Mr. Compress a surprise attack with his beam in their mission to retrieve Bakugo from capture by the villains.

Eventually it was revealed that Yuga's insecurities stemmed from him being a pawn of All For One forced to do his bidding under the threat that he would kill his parents should they refuse. This caused his parents to constantly force him to do treacherous things out of fear for their lives, and Yuga was always torn between saving his parents and being with his classmates whom he genuinely grew attached to, which was why he saved Katsuki in the first place and laid down the cheese as a discreet cry for help. He even believed that when All For One was captured, he would be free, have the chance to live happily alongside his friends and be a true hero. But in the end, All For One's treatment of Yuga made him even more insecure than before, to the point that he saw himself as nothing more than a rotten villain. Aoyama's Quirk, Navel Laser, allows him to fire a sparkly laser from his bellybutton, this beam is powerful enough to blast through solid concrete and propel him in whatever direction he chooses. The major drawback is that Aoyoma will suffer from intestinal troubles if his Quirk is used for more than one second; at first, it is explained that his own body isn't accustomed to his power due to a birth defect, in which he wears his support belt to compensate, but the real reason is that he was given his Quirk by All For One and Aoyama, being Quirkless, did not have a physique to bear an unnatural Quirk. While Aoyama originally had trouble with his Quirk, further training in U.A. High School allowed him to reduce his weaknesses and become better at handling it. As noted, he obtained this Quirk as a child after his parents made a deal with All For One, because they did not want him to endure the stigma of having no Quirk, but it came with a price: the Aoyama family would be servile to All For One.

Mina Ashido (芦戸 三奈, Ashido Mina), also known as Pinky (ピンキー, Pinkī), is a major character the My Hero Academia franchise. She is a student in Class 1-A at U.A. High School, training to become a Pro Hero. Mina is a teenage girl of medium height with a humanoid appearance, due to her Quirk affecting her skin pigment, she has a pinkish complexion. Her eyes are yellow with black irises, and she has short, fluffy pink hair with two yellow antennae protruding from the top. Mina's hero costume consists of a white mask along with a purple and turquoise, camouflage-styled skin-tight bodysuit that ends just above her breasts. She wears a short, sleeveless waistcoat that is beige in color and has a fur-aligned hood. Along with this, she also wears custom plum and beige acid-proof boots with holes in the bottom that allow her to secrete acid and use it to slide around. Mina is an enthusiastic, bubbly and friendly girl who is often seen smiling and kindly interacting with others. She is often quite free-spirited, sassy, cheery and is very skilled at dancing. Mina despises bullying and would stand up to, but also pacify bullies in middle school, with her helping others motivating her desire to become a hero.

Mina also proved herself to be quite brave, as she rushed in to save her friends from Gigantomachia, despite having been afraid of the giant herself, and often brings up "the test of courage" to make this clear. Mina can be something of an air-head and has shown to suffer academically while hiding her distress over the upcoming written exam. However, it is shown that she can overcome this and can become dedicated if given the right tutelage, having pushed past her difficulties after attending Momo Yaoyorozu's study session. Mina is also something of a romantic and took immediate interest upon discovering that her friend Ochaco Uraraka had developed feelings for one of her classmates. She becomes very interested in the possible love lives of others, almost to an obnoxious extent, as seen with seeing Shota Aizawa with Ms. Joke together. Then she comes back taking an interest in Ochaco's close relationship with Izuku Midoriya. Mina teases Ochaco for grabbing onto Izuku so hard in her attempt to save him, implying that she knows that she likes him, which causes both Ochaco and Izuku to turn bright red in embarrassment. Later on, Mina eventually confirms her suspicions following a random gift exchange, after realizing that Ochaco and Izuku had exchanged gifts, with Ochaco herself affirming she's in love with him, but decided to put her feelings away, for now, to focus on her dream, which made Mina feel ecstatic for Ochaco loving Izuku. After a session in which the class showcases their progress after Winter Break, she witnesses a touching exchange between Ochaco and Izuku in which the two bump their fists thanking each other for making one another stronger, which she watches with much joyfulness for them. For intents and purposes, Mina is one of the staunchest supporters and hopefuls for an eventual relationship between Izuku and Ochaco. Mina's Quirk, Acid, allows her to generate acid from her body. She can manipulate the properties of the acid such as viscosity. Mina's main form of offense with her Quirk is to generate corrosive acid to melt her targets. She can use the acid defensively as well by creating a shield made of thick acid to melt projectiles aimed at her. In addition, for utility purposes, she can melt holes in a wall for climbing or release slippery, non-corrosive liquid from her feet for sliding around.

Tsuyu "Tsu" Asui also known as Rainy Season Hero: Froppy, is a major character in My Hero Academia franchise. She is a student of Class 1-A and one of Izuku Midoriya and Ochaco Uraraka’s friends. Tsuyu is a short girl with a frog-like appearance. She has straight dark green hair that ties into a bow at its bottom, and her eyes are considerably large, unlike any normal person. She has eyelashes at the bottom of her eyes and a mouth that dips down a bit in the middle. Adding to her frog-like appearance, she has notably large hands. Her superhero costume consists of a bright green full-body suit, with black stripes and yellow trim. She has two utility belts, one ending above her breasts and one on her waist, which is decorated with green dots along the outside. Tsuyu wears beige gloves with large wrist guards and green buckles. She also wears black, thigh-high flippers with smaller green lines, resembling frog legs. In fact, most of her costume is based on the design of a frog. Personality Tsuyu is laid-back, but she is also very direct with those around her, willing to tell them exactly what she thinks about others, even to the point of being brutally honest. Due to her parents being busy at work and often being left to look after her two younger siblings at a young age, she is a very mature and responsible individual who is able to effectively divide her attention between home and school-related duties without letting them interfere with one another. This has also lead her to being an effective pillar of emotional support for others, making them feel safe and at ease if they don't feel so. She seems to be very indifferent when in school, but sometimes she has demonstrated the opposite and is quite perceptive. She is extremely realistic, she cares about her classmates, and remains calm in the face of danger, but reacts violently if someone harms her. She prefers to be called by her nickname "Tsu" as opposed to her real name, although only by her friends. Despite her supportive nature, Tsuyu can also be rather sensitive due to her always saying what's on her mind, and fearing her words coming off as blunt and hurtful as result. After Bakugo's kidnapping, Tsuyu tries to get her friends to act rationally by saying that they are no better than villains if they go breaking the rules with leaving to save him. Afterwards, however, Tsuyu becomes very upset and saddled with guilt due to being unable to face her classmates again after this, as well as viewing her own behaviour as cowardly.

With help from Ochaco Uraraka however, she was able to put things right and talk with everyone again. Befitting her frog physiology, Tsuyu can often be heard using the word "Ribbit" ("kero" in the Japanese version) at the end of her sentences as well as her replies. Her facial expression is often a calm and vacant stare, making it difficult to read whatever she's thinking. Tsuyu's Quirk gives her the physiology of a frog, with her having the attributes of the creature as well as possessing several frog-like abilities. She is able to cling to surfaces, leap very high (and is usually seen leaping as opposed to running) as well as stick out her tongue up to 20 metres which is strong enough to lift a person's whole body weight. Tsuyu is also capable of camouflaging herself to some extent, other abilities include being able to eject her stomach and secrete a mild, itch-inducing toxin. Since frogs are cold-blooded creatures, Tsuyu is very sensitive to the cold, and can go into a hibernation-like state if over-exposed to cold temperatures.

Tenya Iida, also known by his hero name, Turbo Hero: Ingenium, is a major character in the My Hero Academia franchise. He is a student at U.A. High School training to become a Pro Hero, and the class president of Class 1-A. He's one of Izuku Midoriya's closest friends. He uses the name of Ingenium, following his older brother's retirement as a hero after sustaining a brutal injury by the Hero Killer: Stain. Tenya seems stern and even intimidating at first glance. He is a simple, intelligent, disciplined person. Due to his generally quite hyperactive and intense behavior, he often has particular tics, such as moving his arms in a specific way or suddenly contracting his body. However, he rarely deviates from his usual severe expression. Tenya has a tendency to take everything very seriously and often jumps at conclusions. He is fully dedicated to his studies and loves learning new things. As a delegate of his class, he is also obsessed with organization and discipline, expecting his classmates to be as rigorous as he is. He also considers himself personally responsible for their safety and considers it his duty to protect them from dangerous situations. He also knows how to react quickly when something unexpected happens. He holds a great deal of love and respect for his older brother, striving to be a hero just like him. Because of this, his character takes a darker turn when Ingenium is attacked and crippled by the Hero Killer: Stain. During this time period, his mind focuses only on getting revenge and eliminating Stain for his crimes, unable to think of anything else. After the Hero Killer confronts him with this truth and after some words of inspiration from Izuku and Shoto, Tenya eventually sees why he was wrong and subsequently abandons his desire for vengeance. While he still hates Stain for what he did to his older brother, Tenya is nevertheless takes his words to heart and vows to become worthy of the title hero. Tenya is also very committed to following the rules and sticking to protocol.

When Katsuki was kidnapped by villains, Tenya firmly stated that they couldn't go after their friend because they weren't allowed to use their quirks for hero work, though he eventually relents and goes with his friends to ensure they don't engage in physical combat with the villains when going to rescue Katsuki. However, as time passes, he eventually learns how to become more relaxed and less stiff with the rules. This is most notable during the Paranormal Liberation War, when Tenya decides to go join Izuku and Shoto, who're fighting Tomura Shigaraki, despite the fact that doing this would be violating orders, because he suspected they were in trouble and wanted to help them. Tenya's main power is "Engine," which is his Quirk. It takes the form of engine-like tubes on his calves, giving him incredible speed and kicking strength. Tenya is a tall, muscular boy with blue hair and red eyes, as well as glasses, and engines stickIng out of the backs of his calves.

Ochaco Uraraka (麗日 お茶子, Uraraka Ochako), also known by her hero name Uravity (ウラビティ, Urabiti), is one of the main characters and main heroine in the My Hero Academia franchise. She is a student at U.A. High School training to become a Pro Hero and one of Izuku Midoriya's closest friends, before officially becoming his girlfriend in the final chapter. She dreams of achieving her goals of becoming a Pro Hero so she can support her parents, while being a great hero who protects and saves innocent lives. Ochaco is an average-height teenage girl with wide, warm brown eyes and bobbed brown hair with baby bangs and two longer parts of hair on the side of her face. She has small, eyebrows and a permanent blush on her cheeks. Her hero costume is a navy, full-body suit with light pink markings on her shoulders (with two darker pink stripes) and torso. Ochaco dons large knee-high boots with dark pink soles and heels. She has a thick, hot pink choker, two light pink gauntlets on her arms with darker pink handles and a thick, light pink belt with a darker pink marking in the center, and where they connect. Because of her design company, she has two navy dots below her choker. Ochaco is a very cheerful, kind, outgoing, and optimistic girl. She gets easily excited over little things and has a habit of overreacting with exaggerated facial expressions, akin to her close friend/love interest, Izuku Midoriya. Ochaco is a very warm, lively individual who thinks about everything positively, though she is objective enough to see flaws and virtues. She is empathetic in general, friendly to those she meets, and will try to help or defend anyone who is kind to her or in need of assistance. Ochaco also seems to be very good at reading people, understanding the reasons for Izuku and Katsuki’s rivalry, and being the first to notice when the usually calm and collected Tsuyu was upset. Her empathy and kindness are also seen in how well she gets along with her classmates. She is on good terms with everyone and is particularly close friends with several members of the class, including Izuku, Tenya, Tsuyu, and so on. Despite her usually cheery and sometimes ditzy/airheaded demeanor that can sometimes make her often not think things through before rushing into things, Ochaco can still take on an extremely determined, focused, and intimidating attitude when the situation calls for it. This side of her personality can come as a surprise to those who are used to her generally bubbly nature, and it tends to appear during competitive situations like the U.A. Sports Festival. While she is shown to be surprisingly strategic, she isn't above making some impulsive or reckless decisions. When it comes to her chosen path as a Hero, Ochaco is unwavering and dislikes being underestimated, even in the face of an overwhelming force, and she does get much smarter over time, thus subverting her reckless moments. Coming from a poor household, Ochaco tends to become easily excited or surprised over little things, even losing her composure when faced with actual luxury, to the point of nearly fainting like when she was first introduced to Yaoyorozu's overly luxurious dorm room. Bonus materials have depicted her as frugal and occasionally stingy, since she goes to extreme lengths to save money, including sleeping so she does not waste oxygen or skipping meals in order to save food. Ochaco's parents are her main drive to becoming a hero, and she desires above all else to earn money in order to give them a comfortable life. She is brazenly honest about her priorities and doesn't hide her pursuit of heroism being in large part due to money, despite her embarrassment over admitting so. While money was a deciding factor in her decision to become a hero, Ochaco dreamed of becoming one prior to realizing the extent of her parent's monetary struggles, as she admired their capacity to bring smiles to other people's faces. In terms of heroism, Ochaco has shown more preference towards rescue, being a fan of Thirteen for her expertise in the area. She is aware of her physical limitations, deciding to choose the combat-oriented hero Gunhead for her internship in order to increase her fighting repertoire. Consequently, Ochaco developed a new sense of battle awareness and has become a more instinctive fighter. Besides this, Ochaco can become extremely determined, focused, and sometimes intimidating in certain situations. Due to her time around Izuku, she has picked up some of his habits such as his tenacity and ingenuity in battles. She greatly admires Izuku whom she calls "Deku", a nickname she thought was cute (even though he used to hate it) and seeks to be like him with regard to his skills and dreams. Following Yuga's teasing, Ochaco finally realized she has developed strong feelings for him but is too shy to admit it and ran off when she is near him after being confused by her thoughts. Later on, she resolved to put them away for the time being so that she can focus on her dream of becoming a hero, while she fully accepts to herself that she does have feelings for Izuku. However, Ochaco's feelings for Izuku resurface as she saves him from being absorbed into the black energy created by One for All manifesting the Quirk "Blackwhip." After that, Mina teases both Ochaco and Izuku about what transpired, which causes the two to blush and turn bright red in embarrassment.

Then, Mina teased Ochaco over her All Might keychain that was gifted to her by Izuku at Christmas. However, after becoming slightly nervous, Ochaco happily blushes at her comments while putting the keychain away. Then after the Joint Training Arc in Chapter 256, when Class 1A showed off their new moves, Ochaco and Izuku shared a touching moment. They both happily thank each other for making one another stronger, and fist bumped with blushing faces. During the fight with Toga, Ochaco tells her that she fell in love with Izuku Midoriya. Her parents are her motivation as to why she has decided to become a hero, specifically, in order for them to live an easy life. Despite her embarrassment to admit it, she does her best in school with pride for them which makes them happy. Though her main motivation for becoming a hero is to gain money, Ochaco is still determined to become a good hero outside of doing so because of her low financial standing. After the death of Sir Nighteye, Ochaco laments how she could not save him and how she held him in her arms as he died, believing she could have prevented his death had she been stronger even after Aizawa assured her that she did her very best and was not at fault for the outcome. From that point on, she becomes more determined to save people no matter the cost, maturing in the process. Her quirk is Zero Gravity, a power to manipulate gravity in ways such as making objects weightless or making objects float, or even make herself to fly, an effect that she has to access by touching the object with her fingerprints, which then glow pink. However, her quirk still has a limitation. A drawback to this Quirk is that if it is used too much (around three tons) or if she makes herself float, she will suffer from nausea and possibly vomit as a result. Her hero costume is made to minimize this negative effect when she uses her quirk.

Mashirao Ojiro, known professionally as the Martial Arts Hero: Tailman or simply Tailman, is a supporting character in the My Hero Academia franchise. He is one of the students in Class 1-A at U.A. High School, who is training to become a Pro Hero. Ojiro appears to have olive skin and short blond hair. His mutant-class quirk gives him an extra appendage-- a tail. The tail also has bushy, brown hair on it's end. His hero outfit looks almost identical to a karetegi, with a black belt complementing it. He also has black boots and sometimes blue gloves. Ojiro carries a sense of dignity that makes him only wish to achieve his goals honorably. He dislikes accepting results he feels he didn't work for. Ojiro works very hard to become a hero, to overcome the undesirable quirk he has that makes sitting down and laying down difficult for him. Working hard for his achievements likely gives him a sense of pride, making training one of his hobbies. He is not arrogant however and does show to be very humble as well, this humbleness also makes Ojiro believe that his classmates are also very respectable. Ojiro has shown to be unwilling to progress if he believes that he hasn't given it his all. This is shown when he withdrew from the fighting match of the Sports Festival, having been under the control of Hitoshi Shinso's Quirk and saying that he didn't earn his right to proceed forward in the tournament. A running gag is others commenting on Ojiro's style as "plain", something that upsets him as shown during the room presentation contest. Abilities Mashirao's Quirk "Tail" gives him an incredibly strong prehensile tail. While normally this quirk wouldn't be effective, he has devoted his time into training this seemingly undesirable quirk into something that enhances his fighting prowess. The tail can act as an extra appendage to assist Ojiro in combat.

Denki Kaminari, professionally known as the Stun Gun Hero: Chargebolt or simply Chargebolt, is a major character in the My Hero Academia franchise. Denki was a Japanese student who, like many others his age, aspired to become a professional hero one day. His quirk, called Electrification, allowed him to generate electricity and manipulate it to a certain extent, although he still had a long way to go before mastering it. At the age of fifteen, Kaminari earned admittance into the hero course of U.A. High School, a program dedicated to cultivating new heroes. He was sorted into Class 1-A, a class of twenty students with like-minded ambitions and lofty potential. Due in part to his relatively dim-witted mind and easy-going personality, Denki was known as a class clown of sorts who got along with everybody. Alongside fellow classmate Minoru Mineta as his partner-in-crime, Kaminari would occasionally get into trouble due to concocting perverted schemes involving the girls in his class. However, despite his apparent lack of intelligence and slightly perverted side, Denki would often prove himself to have a sharp strategic mind and a kind heart during times of crisis. Denki is a young man with short, blonde hair that has a black lightning symbol on the left side of his fringe. He has slanted, yellow eyes and is rather slimmer than most of his other male classmates. His hero costume consists of a short, black opened fleece with white lightning symbols and matching pants with a utility belt. He has a white shirt underneath and a blue visor that he wears on his eyes. He also wears a disc-shaped pointer Support Item that allows him to aim with his Quirk. Denki is a social and energetic young lad with a casual disposition. He enjoys interacting and hanging out with his friends, although his comments can also be on the more blunt and cynical side. Despite this, he's always friendly and well-meaning towards others. Academically, Denki isn't the smartest in Class 1-A, and often requires help due to his general neglect of school studies. He was visibly stressed over his poor performance in the midterm exams, although was able to overcome and pass the upcoming written exam by attending Momo Yaoyorozu's study session. Denki also shows to be rather flirtatious, his interest in women often aligning with Minoru Mineta's shenanigans. Because of this, the two get along really well, although Denki is rather tame in comparison to Mineta's lecherous nature. He tries to flirt and ask out other girls on separate occasions, although his advances often don't see through. When exceeding the wattage of his Quirk, Denki's personality is rendered to that of a smiling, bubbling idiot, quite often sporting a nosebleed. In this state, he's always showing a thumbs-up to show that he's alright. Denki's Quirk Electrification allows him to discharge electricity and emit it out of his body in powerful blasts. This Quirk serves well in both offence and defense, as the electricity shocks anyone it comes into contact with. While he can't outright control the electricity, he can fine-tune his direction and, with the help of his Sharpshooting Gear, can aim electrical shots with it. His Quirk also allows him to act as a lightning rod and absorb electric attacks.

If exceeding his wattage, Denki's brain effectively short-circuits and he is rendered completely dumb for a one-hour period, unable to activate his Quirk or do anything until he recovers.

Eijiro Kirishima, also known as the Sturdy Hero: Red Riot or simply Red Riot, is a major character in the My Hero Academia franchise. Kirishima is a student at the prestigious U.A. High School training to become a Pro Hero. He is a part of Class 1-A of the Heroes Studies course. Eijiro's quirk, Hardening, allows him to harden and/or sharpen any part of his body at will. Kirishima is a young man of average height with a rather muscular physique, he has red eyes along with a small scar just above his right eye. His hair is dyed red and commonly spiked upwards, with two little tufts of it appearing like horns. His teeth are shown to be consistently sharp. Originally, Kirishima's hair was black and reached just above his shoulders. His hero costume consists of two dark red, gear-shaped shoulder pads, a sash with a red "R" on it's centre, referring to his hero name; Red Riot. Along with this he has dark red boots, black pants with a ripped cape and black sleeves. His chest is left bare and he wears a black jaw guard that reaches around his head. Kirishima has an outgoing, friendly and determined attitude, ready to take on any challenge that comes his way and having a big obsession over being manly and brave. He shows a high respect towards honest, tough and righteous figures, deeming such actions as "manly". At the same time, he dislikes opposite attitudes such as cowardice or cheating. He has a very noble and willing personality, as well as being kind-hearted and friendly towards his fellow classmen. Even after defeating Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu in the tie-breaker match during the Sports Festival, he offered a handshake in good sport, proving his fair and chivalrous demeanor. In the past, however, Kirishima lacked confidence or self-esteem and was ashamed when he could not help two girls who were being threatened by a gigantic villain, having apologized to them later for his lack of bravery during said moment. However, his attitude, as well as motivation to become a hero, was inspired by the hero Crimson Riot. Thus, Kirishima chose to reinvent himself after being accepted into U.A. High, modelling his attitude of what a hero should be; selfless, fearless and determined. Depending on his willpower, he can harden his skin. A shower of blades would simply sharpen against him, though it does take willpower to harden his quirk, and the more he hardens, the harder it is for him to move. With his Hardening quirk, he can also prevent significant burns from all sorts of flames. Bulletproof skin is another benefit of this quirk.

Koji Koda (口こう田だ甲こう司じ Kōda Kōji?), also known as the Petting Hero: Anima (ふれあいヒーロー アニマ Fureai Hīrō Anima?), is a supporting character in the My Hero Academia franchise. He is a student in Class 1-A at U.A. High School who is training to become a Pro Hero. His Quirk is Avivoice, which allows him to talk and control any animals. Koda has a tall and wide physique with a mutant-like appearance with a square jaw and unevenly shaped rock-like head. His horn apparently grows with age and is yet to fully mature. His hero costume consists of a simple yellow and red suit with a mouth-like symbol on the center. His costume was later updated to include a face-mask with holes in it so he could still use his Quirk, alongside white straps and his shoes being replaced with boots. Despite his appearance, Koji is actually a quiet, gentle and reserved young man who rarely speaks, and sometimes uses sign-language instead of talking. Likely due to his Quirk, he has a very strong affinity for animals and nature, with him owning animal-themed decorations in his room and even having a pet rabbit. According to Fumikage Tokoyami, he is good at keeping secrets. Later on in the series, Koji begins to speak more towards his classmates, albeit still remains rather reserved and quiet. Koji suffers from entomophobia, and shows to be extremely afraid of bugs, despite being able to converse with them like any other animal. However, he was able to overcome this fear in order to help his classmates proceed forward.

Rikido Sato, also known as the Sweets Hero: Sugarman, is one of the supporting characters in My Hero Academia and he is a student in Class 1-A at U.A. High School, who is training to become a Pro Hero. Rikido is a loyal and kind-hearted young boy who has an interest in sweets and baking, later being a useful skill to have due to his own Quirk. He is surprisingly very creative and talented at making sweets, conquering his classmates with his food. The fact that Rikido was caught someone by surprise by this overly positive reaction suggests that he himself doesn't think a lot of his own abilities as a confectioner. Nevertheless, every week in the dorms, Rikido bakes sweets and desserts and shares them with his classmates, which he calls “ Sugar Time.” He also likes pairing his sweets with Momo’s tea to create a nice gourmet night.

Mezo Shoji, also known as the Tentacle Hero: Tentacole, is a supporting character in the My Hero Academia franchise. He is a student in Class 1-A at the U.A. High School with a quirk that allows him to manipulate all six of his arms. Mezo is a tall and muscular young man with a mutant appearance, he has pale grey hair that is swept down over his right eye. He has six arms that are attached to webs of skin, the first two have hands when not using his Quirk while the other four are stumps. While he has no visible ears, he apparently doesn't have to form any to hear. He also wears a pale blue mask that covers a majority of his face, he has yet to be seen without it. His hero costume consists of a blue tank top connected to a indigo shoulder-wear which extends to his mask (also indigo). The tank top includes six white markings that appear to resemble eyes, his belt including a larger one of these symbols and indigo boots.

Personality Contrast to his appearance, Mezo proves to be a kind, gentle and friendly individual who shows good cooperativeness with his peers as well as a genuine and selfless nature. This was showcased most during his willingness to rescue Tokoyami and Bakugo despite the danger that was present, he is also not the type of person to hold grudges. Mezo also appears accustomed to being feared regarding his appearance and seemed neither upset nor angry when Pony Tsunotori pointed him out and said she didn't like looking at him. This is likely a result of his past, since discrimination against people with Mutant-type Quirks (ones that alter the user’s outer appearance) is still present where he lives. He began wearing his signature mask after his bare face caused a little girl to cry in terror. Mezo is also a minimalist, evident by his room being almost empty during the presentation contest, claiming that he's never felt the need to have so many things.

Kyoka Jiro (耳郎 響香), also known as the Hearing Hero: Earphone Jack (ヒアヒーロー イヤホン=ジャック, Hia Hīrō Iyahon Jakku), is a major character in the My Hero Academia franchise. Kyoka is a student at the prestigious U.A. High School training to become a Professional Hero. She is a part of Class 1-A of the Heroes Studies course. Jiro's quirk, Earphone Jack, affords her with long, controllable earlobes that function like headphone cables. Kyoka is a medium height girl with a slim build, lazy looking black eyes with small pupils and short, dark purple hair with an asymmetrical fringe and two chin-length bangs on either side. One of her most notable features is her Earphone Jacks hanging off each of her ears, due to her Quirk. Sometimes, instead of the U.A blazer, Kyoka wears the waistcoat. Her hero costume consists of a black jacket, ending at her waist and the sleeves at her wrists, a pale red shirt with large rips at the hem-line and collar. She sports large black boots to use her Quirk with. Kyoka also wears a plain black choker, black tights, white fingerless gloves and two red tear-drop shaped marks below her eyes. Personality Kyoka is a straight-forward and calm girl who, despite her usually unenthusiastic demeanour, has a teasing side towards others, most notably Denki Kaminari, whose dumbed-out and short-circuited face she finds to be funny. Despite this, she is friendly towards most of her classmates and enjoys hanging out with them. Kyoka can be aggressive when angered, often using her Earphone Jacks to punish those who get on her bad side, key examples being Denki Kaminari and Minoru Mineta during their perverted antics. While often coming off as cold however, Kyoka does also have an insecure side towards her own traits, being self-conscious of her appearance and being slightly affected when Mineta didn't comment about her while trying to peek on the girls. Kyoka is also protective of Momo, as she tried to cover her from Denki when Momo's clothing was damaged and her breasts were exposed, and punched Hanta when he accidentally mocked Momo's quirk, demanding him to apologize to her. When the occasion arises, Kyoka can also prove to be surprisingly intelligent, able to utilize Kaminari's Electrification Quirk to defeat villains at the USJ by using her classmate as a "human stun-gun".

She also came up with the idea of using Koda's Quirk to use bugs to defeat Present Mic during the Final Exams. Furthermore, Kyoka also possessed a complex regarding her passion for rock music and became embarrassed and reluctant when others inquired about it. It's revealed that this was because she perceived her passion as being unrelated to heroism, but eventually became motivated when taking the role of head singer during the School Festival. After this, Kyoka completely overcame this mentality and proved herself to be a great singer. Hanta Sero, also known as the Taping Hero: Cellophane, is a supporting character in the My Hero Academia franchise. He is one of the students in Class 1-A, training to become a Pro Hero. Hanta is a young man of rather tall height, Japanese. He has black hair that is spiked downwards along with black eyes. His face is regarded as rather plain with his eyes often opened quite wide as well as often sporting a grin, with his teeth being prominently straight and narrow. His elbows are cylinder-shape dispensers, which allows him to use his Quirk and shoot tape from them. His hero costume consists of a black and white bodysuit with two large yellow shoulder-pads as well as white boots that are lined with yellow. In addition, he adorns a helmet in similar style to his costume with a black visor covering his face. Personality Hanta is a very friendly, loyal person and has proven to be one of the more sociable members of Class 1-A. He can be loud and showy at times, often trying to impress his peers with his Tape Quirk. He is often the only person to call his classmates out when they are acting crazy and senseless. He is quite humorous and often takes part in making jokes with his classmates, sometimes acting a little mischievous towards Katsuki for his short temperament and arrogance. However, when push comes to shove, Hanta is a brave hero-in-training who wishes to prosper on his own while helping others do the same. He easily makes friends with those around him and is shown to be a very laid-back guy. Hanta is able to keep up his confidence and make an effort, even when he believes that the odds are stacked heavily against him. This is shown when he faced Shoto Todoroki during the Sports Festival and admitted that he felt like he couldn't win, but soon attacked Shoto saying that he didn't want to lose either.

Despite his crushing defeat afterwards, as well as failing the Final Exam due to being put asleep by Midnight, he still retains his willingness to continue and improve alongside his classmates. Though not openly flirtatious like Denki or Minoru, Hanta still does possess some interest in girls. This was primarily seen during the Provisional License Exam when Izuku informs him of the girl who transformed into a clone of Ochaco, he starts violently shaking Izuku and asking him if she was naked then as well. Later on, he informed Denki and Minoru of what happened with Izuku and "Camie", proving that he also has a habit to spread gossip. Hanta has proven himself to be a very competent combatant, with a great handle on his versatile Quirk, Tape. He primarily uses his tape to bind targets from afar, restraining them from action by knotting his tape around their bodies. He prefers to remain at a safe distance while firing large amounts of tape at his opponents with impressive accuracy. Hanta has also shown the ability to shoot multiple strands of tape at once, as well as produce double-sided tape (which sticks to both sides). Hanta frequently uses Tape for mobility, attaching the adhesive material to surfaces and then either using them to swing himself through the air or pull himself towards the attachment points.

Fumikage Tokoyami, more commonly known as Tsukuyomi, is a supporting character in the My Hero Academia franchise. He is a student in Class 1-A at U.A. High School, training to become a Pro Hero. Fumikage is a teenage boy who is rather on the short side, he has the head of a black bird resembling that of a crow or raven, with a hooked yellowish beak. He has thin, red eyes with small black pupils along with a red choker. While having a bird head, his body is that of a normal fair-skinned human. After his internship and training with Hawks, Tokoyami becomes rather more muscular as a result of the training. Tokoyami's hero costume consists of a dark, black cloak that reaches to his shins. Underneath that cloak is a dark t-shirt with wristbands and dark pants as well as a utility belt. Some might say he resembles the pokemon known as Murkrow. Personality Fumikage is best described as a calm, focused and diligent young man. He is rather stoical and doesn't show as much emotion as his fellow classmates or his counterpart; Dark Shadow. Despite this, Fumikage does prove to be very valiant and noble as well taking on a more sophisticated and respectful attitude towards his peers.

While not that talkative, he does become more sociable when teaming up with others, as shown on both occasions when teaming up with Tsuyu Asui. Fumikage has a liking for the darkness-theme, as shown by his room being like a dark lair with purple candles. He tends to speak in very archaic tones, which can sometimes make him come off as dramatic or even rather creepy. He also shows to be somewhat insecure of his interests, disliking the other students seeing his room. Despite his normally serious attitude and liking for darkness, Fumikage does hold great care for his friends and fellow peers. This is shown during his panic after witnessing his classmates go to rescue Katsuki Bakugo, as well as showing respect for his mentor Hawks. As mentioned there, Fumikage also has clear humility and takes his responsibilities seriously with him dutifully believing to be a representation of the No. 2 hero. While one of the strongest students in Class 1-A, Fumikage is in no way arrogant and is willing to take his weaknesses into consideration. He is particularly cautious when using Dark Shadow and fears the creature falling out of control in dark areas due to the possibility and likelihood of harming others unintentionally. He does however, also strive to have better control of these drawbacks and (with advice from Hawks) also works on his strengths in conjunction to further better himself. Fumikage's Quirk allows him to manifest a sentient, shadowy being from his body that he can control and use; both in combat scenarios as well as to aid him and allies. The creature Dark Shadow is in fact a sentient being who communicates with Fumikage telepathically and acts somewhat like a guardian towards the young hero in training. Dark Shadow is capable of shapeshifting to some extent, and can use it's long body and claws as weapons, as shown with how it attacked Momo Yaoyorozu during the Sports Festival match and easily knocked her out of the ring. However, one major drawback is balancing Dark Shadow's great power with Fumikage's control over it. In the light, Dark Shadow is more docile yet can still be controlled and (mostly) follows Fumikage's command to the letter. Furthermore, Dark Shadow is also naturally weak against light, as shown by how Katsuki Bakugo used his Explosion Quirk to incapacitate the creature. In the darkness however, Dark Shadow becomes extremely more powerful but also more chaotic, destructive and uncontrollable. This power extends to where Dark Shadow in the night of the forest camp, was capable of defeating Moonfish -an extremely powerful and dangerous B-Rank villain- and cut through his blade-like teeth with relative ease and knocked the villain out cold.

Shoto Todoroki (with his hero name simply being Shoto) is the tritagonist of the My Hero Academia franchise. He is a student in Class 1-A at U.A. High School training to become a Pro Hero. He got into U.A. through official recommendations. He is also one of Izuku Midoriya's best friends as well as his friendly rival and Katsuki Bakugo's second archrival. He is the youngest son of Enji (AKA Endeavor) and Rei Todoroki and the younger brother of both Fuyumi and Natsuo Todoroki, as well as his eldest brother and archenemy, Toya Todoroki, also known by his villain alias "Dabi". Shoto is a tall and rather well-built young man. He has long hair that splits between white (on his right side) and red (on his left side). He has heterochromia iridium, with his right eye being gray and his left being turquoise in color. He also has a burn on the left side of his face which reaches halfway down his cheek. Appearance-wise, he is regarded as quite handsome by girls such as Mina Ashido and Camie Utsushimi. His initial hero costume consisted of a plain white shirt, with matching pants and boots. He wears an ice-like material on the left side of his body, which is detachable from neck upwards as a way of rejecting the fire side of his Quirk. Shoto's costume is later updated to a dark blue, short-sleeved jacket and pants with two gold-colored straps over his shoulders. A metal plated combat vest with white boots, he also has a brown utility belt that contains medical supplies. At first, Shoto exhibited a cold and aloof attitude, often preferring to keep to himself rather than socializing with his peers and commonly focusing on the task at hand. Despite seeming cold, however, Shoto isn't openly cruel, aggorant, mean or rude, and his distant behavior is likely a result of his complicated home life, as well as growing apart from his siblings. Shoto detested the fire half of his Quirk, given that his fire abilities were inherited from his abusive father Endeavor. He goes as far as to completely reject his fire powers by refusing to use them completely (save for only when he has to melt his ice), as well as designing his first costume by covering his entire left side with ice. Shoto hates his father for having abused him, keeping him separated him from his siblings, as well as abusing his mother to the point of facing a mental breakdown. He refuses to serve as his successor to usurp All Might's position as the No. 1 hero. After the events of the Sports Festival, however, Izuku Midoriya convinces Shoto that his Quirk is his own power, including his fire abilities. From here, he develops a willingness to use his flames, no longer seeing them resembling his father. Furthermore, he also slowly becomes more sociable and kind with his classmates, albeit still retaining something of a distant attitude. It's very possible that Shoto is socially inexperienced, and does show to be somewhat dense with him not understanding social cues, such as Camie Utsushimi asking for his number. He is also shown to have a close relationship with his mother, the one who encouraged him to grow up and be the best he can, with him not being bound by his father's bloodline. He commonly visits her at the hospital during his time off. In the battle, Shoto has a composed and well-grounded attitude, but he also has a habit of sudden brutality whenever angered, as shown by how he completely froze Hanta Sero during their match in the Sports Festival, although he did apologize to him afterwards for having gone overboard. He also demonstrates that he's a focused and smart individual, with him working together with Momo Yaoyorozu during the Final Exams and encouraging her despite the latter's lack of confidence at the time. It is also revealed that Shoto voted for Yaoyorozu to be Class Representative, believing that she would be good at managing and leading the classroom. • Half-Cold Half-Hot: Shoto's Quirk grants him both fire and ice powers on each side of his body, essentially allowing him control over fire and ice (from his left and right sides). Although with him rejecting his fire abilities, Todoroki shows more finesse with the ice side of his Quirk, he is able to instantly generate large constructs of ice, while unable to manipulate it he can use his power in a myriad of ways, including him freezing opponents, creating pillars and shields of ice to block attacks.

Toru Hagakure, also known as the Stealth Hero: Invisible Girl, is a supporting character from the anime/manga franchise My Hero Academia. She is a student in Class 1-A at U.A. High School, training to become a Pro Hero. Due to her invisibility, Toru's physical appearance is mostly unknown; however, it is known that she is a relatively short girl and her clothes identify her as having a slim yet curvaceous figure. Before her true face was revealed, she claimed to look like a fusion of Yang Guifei and Francis Xavier. As depicted by a brief glimpse of her reflection from Yuga Aoyama's laser, behind her invisibility reveals that she has medium-sized messy hair and thick eyelashes, which are colored to be yellow with pink and turquoise strands. Her hero costume consists of a pair of baby-blue gloves and white boots, taking both of these off grants her total invisibility. Toru is a kind, bubbly, optimistic, outgoing, cheerful and energetic girl who is often excited by the world around her and likes to socialize with friends. She enjoys talking with people and likes cute things. She is also strategic, and often uses her invisibility to her advantage in battle situations to walk around unseen and end fights by sneaking up on enemies as opposed to facing them outright. There are also times where Toru is blissfully unaware of her own Quirk.

Despite prioritizing her invisibility, she did show some embarrassment at undressing in front of Mashirao Ojiro even with her hero costume having almost no clothing to start with. Toru's Quirk is Invisibility, though it seems as though her powers are constantly active, as she has yet to be seen visible. Regardless, she is able to utilize her Quirk to remain completely hidden and excels at stealth-based techniques. She can also use the strange way light reacts to her body to her advantage, refracting it to blind opponents and even manipulate light-based attacks like lasers. The drawback of her Quirk, is that complete invisibility requires Toru to completely naked and thus leaving her body exposed to elements such as extreme temperatures and attacks from others.

Katsuki Bakugo (爆豪 勝己, Bakugō Katsuki), also known by his hero name, Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight and his nickname, Kacchan, is one of the two deuteragonists (alongside All Might) of the My Hero Academia franchise. He is a student in Class 1-A of U.A. High School's Hero Department, as well as the childhood best friend and rival of Izuku Midoriya, being the one responisble for giving him the name "Deku". He is an incredibly arrogant, stubborn, aggressive and volatile hero-in-training, who sees everyone that he considers weak as "extras", due to possessing a powerful Quirk, believing himself to be greater than anyone else. Despite these flaws, Bakugo is determined to become a hero to surpass his idol All Might and his rival, Izuku. As the series goes, following All Might's retirement, Bakugo has undergone a strong development within himself, no longer being incredibly arrogant and hot-blooded as he was before, as well as showing more remorse for his past actions, eventually beginning to accept Izuku as his best friend again. At first, Katsuki had shown to be highly arrogant and condescending teenager towards almost everyone due to being immensely confident of his own Quirk and abilities. With the one goal of surpassing All Might as the No. 1 Pro Hero, he was also incredibly condescending towards others and bullied Izuku for being Quirkless and seeing him as having no chance at being a hero. During his time in U.A. however, after receiving several blows to his pride as well as (to a point) deflating his ego, these behaviors have reduced mostly, now less smug and more serious about his aims as well as taking others into consideration. Even so, Katsuki can still be openly disrespectful towards other students at U.A. High, and often referring to others as "extras" and looking at them as steppingstones to his own victory. At the same time, he tends to bestow others with insulting nicknames.

Even though he is really smart and a genius student in the academy, he shows himself to be pretty dumb sometimes and acts like somewhat of a quick-tempered idiot at times. Some good examples of this includes the flashback in his childhood as seen in the Battle Trial Arc; when Midoriya went out to help him getting out of a lake Bakugo fell, and Bakugo took Midoriya's gesture and twists that into as an act of looking down on him (which started his endless bullying towards Midoriya and how he started becoming a short-tempered jerk), and he couldn't follow the rules of heroism even when his or others' lives are in danger as seen in the Hideout Raid Arc during the All Might vs All For One situation, when Midoriya (alongside Kirishima, Todoroki, Yaoyorozu and Lda) made a good plan to help All Might that went smoothly but Bakugo messed it up since he purposely told Kirishima to say his name cause Bakugo thought if it was anybody else they wouldn't trust him. It's taken to the point that during the Final Exams Arc, Midoriya even points out how idiotic Bakugo's ideals of "never getting help from anyone", even against enemies he can't defeat, genuinely are. Although, while he is rudely immature, stubborn and seriously lacking in common sense, Katsuki can acknowledge others if they impress him with their strength, as shown during his match with Uraraka. He also has a friendship with Eijiro due to the latter being able to see through his more brash attitude, as well as Katsuki respecting Eijiro to some degree. Aside from this, he also does eventually come to recognize Izuku, with him realizing him to be the carrier of All Might's power. He demands that Izuku makes One For All his own so he can face against him one day. While Katsuki would be aggressive and show much less than idealistic heroic behavior, his determination to be a hero is true, with him being inspired by how All Might would win. With him still determined to become the No. 1 hero and surpass All Might. His arrogant nature also belies his true power and skill, by all means, Katsuki is nowhere near weak and shows an inborn talent at almost everything. He also performs well academically, having learned how to read fully by the age of four and does show to take studying seriously.

Izuku Midoriya, also known by his childhood and hero name Deku, is the main protagonist of the My Hero Academia franchise. He was originally tormented and bullied throughout his life for lacking a Quirk by mainly his childhood-friend-turned-bully Katsuki Bakugo and many people along with him, but after meeting his idol, the No. 1 Hero, All Might and impressing him with his bravery and skills, he would then gain the legendary quirk One For All, and became a Hero-in-training with his abilities at Class 1-A as well as being its ninth and final user. He is also the boyfriend of Ochaco Uraraka. Izuku is a teenage boy with green eyes and messy dark green hair, many people believe his hair might be black, but the messiness casts a shadow on his own hair. During his time at Aldera Junior High, he wore a black gakuran uniform with yellow buttons. At U.A., he wears the standard male uniform: a light grey suit over a white dress shirt and dark green dress pants, along with a red necktie. Izuku usually wears his signature red sneakers for footwear. His hero costume also undergoes many changes throughout the series, although the basic design stays roughly the same: a green color scheme with highlights, a mask, white gloves, and his trademark red shoes. As he evolves as a hero, the costume gains new additions and changes, with the green steadily growing darker to reflect his growing maturity and competence as a hero. By the final arc, his costume Zeta consists of a dark green attire with gold highlights, redesigned Air Force gloves and Mid-Gauntlets, red belt, blue kneepads, his old damaged respirator, and Gran Torino's cape used as a scarf in place of his old All Might-like cowl. Though he was initially very skinny, Izuku has gained toned muscles after his ten months of extensive training with All Might, and as the series progresses, these are shown to become more developed and defined as he gradually grows stronger. As his first year at U.A. continues, he attains a highly defined and lean build that helps his emphasis on speed. After exceeding his One for All limit too many times, Izuku gains scars all over his right arm. He later receives a large burn scar from Dabi. Izuku is generally characterized as a nervous, honest, and cheerful boy.

Despite being born Quirkless, Izuku held onto his lifelong dream of becoming a hero deeply inspired by the No. 1 Hero: All Might. While commonly showing his nervousness and sometimes meek attitude, Izuku commonly displays his heroic spirit with his incredible determination and selfless nature, as shown when he rushed in to save Katsuki and Ochaco despite the danger posed to himself as well. Izuku becomes elated when having the opportunity to gain a Quirk, and attend U.A. High, but also dutifully carries the goal of becoming All Might's successor to carry the One For All Quirk. A big fan of heroes, Izuku has a wide knowledge of many Pro Heroes, especially All Might with him knowing all of the No. 1's achievements and feats, no matter how small or trivial. Having admired All Might, he is also an avid collector of his merchandise as seen in his dormitory room. Izuku is also very intelligent and informative in terms of the Quirks and abilities of others, often inventing methods, strategies and ways to improve them. This results in Izuku having a habit to drone on and mumbling whenever he focuses on something, a trait that usually tends to unnerve his peers somewhat. Izuku can also be defined as a dynamic character. While at first, he started off as insecure, tearful, and unconfident in his own powers, abilities and handling of his Quirk, he soon develops into a more focused, diligent and determined character, with his sights set on becoming a great hero. His time at U.A. High School and experiences, alongside serving as All Might's successor for One For All, have served greatly in his growth as both a character and a hero-in-training. What truly defines Izuku, is his ultimately heroic spirit and willingness to help and save anyone, never hesitating to do so even if he lacks the strength or abilities. He was immediately suspicious and wary after witnessing Eri's fear and the bandages around her arms, after failing to save her from Overhaul the incident remained on his mind and he was later horrified upon learning the truth of her mistreatment. This, however, while indeed weighing on his conscience, has also further fueled his desire to save her alongside his comrade Mirio Togata.

Minoru Mineta, also known as the Fresh-Picked Hero: Grape Juice, is a supporting character of the My Hero Academia franchise. He often serves as a comic relief for the series. He is a student in Class 1-A at U.A. High School, training to become a Pro Hero. Alongside Denki Kaminari as his partner-in-crime, Mineta is shown to be lecherous pervert when he is obsessed with women (including those his class) as he attempted to peep the girl's locker room or bathe. He even touched their breasts. According to Momo Yaoyorozu, Mineta is the worst pervert. Despite this, however, Mineta is still somewhat good-hearted and selfless, and is shown to be quite heroic for the most part, despite his mischievous behavior. At the end of the final war, Mineta graduated from U.A High School and became a Pro Hero alongside his classmates. Minoru is a very small teenage boy with a large, round head, and rather large cheeks. His nose is small and stubby, which sticks slightly upwards. He has an unusually distinguishable philtrum, oval-shaped eyes with large, black pupils, and notably thin eyebrows. He has four large purple and black balls in something resembling a mohawk where his hair should be. His hero costume is very simplistic, consisting only a dark purple bodysuit and mask with a yellow cape, boots and gloves. His pants are white with light purple trim, and they stick out quite a lot around his waist. During the winter months, a stem-like detail is propped up on his hair, contributing to the grape theme of his costume. Mineta is noted for being very perverted, as well as being particularly and shamelessly open about it to the point of obsession. He is notorious for his shenanigans against the girls of Class 1-A, which included him tricking the girls into dressing as cheerleaders during the Sports Festival, as well as trying to peek on them on two separate occasions. As a result of this, Mineta is unpopular in his classroom, with the girls either get annoyed or repulsed by his behaviour, and the boys seeing his interests as depraved. Mineta is also a hypocrite who will judge others he sees to be perverted, such as when he furiously (and likely enviously) berated Izuku Midoriya, who was seen with Camie Utsushimi while the latter was naked. On top of this, he has a more cowardly side during times of great stress and pressure, as shown by how he freaks out easily and tends to recklessly use his Quirk to the point of self-injury. However, if given the right drive or motivation, Mineta can be just as determined as the rest of his classmates and can overcome his nervousness. Despite his perverted behaviour, however, Mineta does prove to be surprisingly intelligent, having achieved 9th place in the Midterm Exams. Also, while his Quirk is arguably not suited for combat, he does think of many clever ways to use it with versatility, as well as aid in some of his aforementioned shenanigans. Mineta's aspiration to become a hero is to become popular, especially with women, as seen during his middle school years he would be jealous of other guys receiving attention.

While his perversion might be inexcusable, he appears to have a lack of confidence, likely due to his Quirk and small size. However, he managed to overcome this during the Final Exams, being inspired by Izuku Midoriya to achieve his best. He’s shown to be genuinely close with Izuku too, trying to get him to come back to U.A. and trying to hug him while crying after he does return. Questionable behavior aside, Mineta is shown to be generally friendly with his classmates, particularly Denki Kaminari, who he shares similar perverted interests with. In general, he genuinely cares about his friends and is willing to be selfless for them, such as when he begged for All For One to take his quirk instead of Tokoyami's Dark Shadow during the Paranormal Liberation War, showcasing that he has a good heart despite his lecherous behavior. • Pop Off: Mineta's Quirk grants him a set of adhesive spheres on top of his head that he can pluck off and use to his advantage, while these can stick to just about anything, Mineta himself bounces right off them. Mineta is able to throw these balls and use them to trap enemies, climb across surfaces, and can gather a bunch of them together to act as a shield. While these spheres can grow back as fast as Mineta can pluck them off, overusing this Quirk causes Mineta to bleed from his scalp.

Momo Yaoyorozu (八百万 百, Yaoyorozu Momo), also known by her hero name, Everything Hero: Creati, is a major character of the My Hero Academia franchise. She is the vice president of Class 1-A at U.A. High School where she got in through official recommendations and is training there to become a Pro Hero. Momo is a tall and beautiful teenage girl with waist-length black hair (when let down) that is often styled back in a spiky ponytail with a long hair strand usually hanging on the right side, thin onyx-colored eyes that is accompanied by short eyebrows where it is usually set in a determined expression and she possesses a rather mature physique for her age. Due to her Quirk’s need for fat cells, she prioritized keeping her figure fuller than her peers. Momo is a dedicated and highly intelligent girl with the determination to become a Pro Hero and she commonly shows herself to be one of the most intellectual in Class 1-A having come first place in the midterm exams. Despite coming from a very wealthy family and background, Momo is by no means snobbish as she is friendly and interactive with the rest of her class and showed to be eager to hold a study session at her residence. During this, her bubbly and supportive attitude shined through most while lecturing her classmates and helping them improve. Given that her Quirk Creation, requires her to know the molecular structure of whatever she's making, her intelligence is only highlighted by her handling of this power. She is undoubtedly one of the smartest students in Class 1-A, if not the smartest. While her costume was intentionally designed to be revealing, it is shown that Momo is rather innocent when it comes to such matters as such she's often annoyed by the perverted schemes of Minoru Mineta, referring to them as despicable and even considered Mineta to be the worst due to him sticking on her back during the Sports Festival. In other words, she has no intention of showing off her looks and her outfit is only for maximizing the effectiveness of her Quirk. After being defeated in the Sports Festival, as well as endearing an internship with Uwabami, only being scouted alongside Itsuka Kendo for being attractive enough to be in her commercial. Momo loses confidence in herself and becomes hesitant and nervous during the final exams, seeing herself as not strong enough. However, her confidence is restored with the help of Shoto Todoroki who helps her overcome this and pass. Creation: Momo's Quirk allows her to create any non-living object or material as long as she knows the molecular structure of whatever she is making. This works by her transforming her lipids and fat cells into her creations, meaning that calories essentially act as production material. Momo is capable of creating anything she thinks of as long as she has the structure and design in mind. It has shown to take longer to create objects of bigger size. Due to Creation using Momo's body fat (likely the reason for her slim figure), she is required to eat more in order to replenish strength for her Quirk. Furthermore, overusing this power can result in Momo becoming frail, skinny and possibly anemic

Shota Aizawa, also known as the Erasure Hero: Eraser Head or simply Eraser Head, is a major character in the My Hero Academia franchise. He is a Pro Hero and the homeroom teacher of U.A.'s Class 1-A. Although he comes across as an apathetic and lazy teacher as he is usually napping at certain occasions, Aizawa is very serious in his job in teaching the class to become heroes and cares about helping them in accomplishing their goals. As a youth, Aizawa himself was a student in U.A. along with Present Mic, who suggested Shota’s hero name, and a boy named Oboro Shirakumo. The three were close friends and were going to start their own hero agency together. Sadly, Shirakumo died protecting Mic, Aizawa and civilians from a building collapse and Aizawa was greatly saddened by the loss. He threw himself hard into being the best hero he could be but also sank into depression. Fellow hero Midnight urged Aizawa to become a teacher. During the Unforseen Simulation Joint arc, Aizawa was present when villains invaded a training exercise. He fought fiercely to save the students, but was overpowered and brutally beaten by a powerful Nomu. Even bloodied and barely conscious A iizawa activated Erasure to save the students from Tomura Shigaraki and his fellow villains. Azawa has also been greatly affected by learning Shirakumo was turned into the nomu Kurogiro and wants to give his friend justice if possible. He and Present Mic spoke to Kurogiri and tried to reach Oboro but failed, and Aizawa shed tears. In the Paranormal Liberation War arc, Aizawa again faced Shigaraki. He was shot by a bullet that could erase quirks, and quickly self-amputated the leg he was shot in to stop the bullet’s effect from spreading. Shigaraki fought his way through to Aizawa, who still had Erasure active, and clawed Aizawa’s face. Aizawa was left scarred and his right eye was gouged out, leaving his Erasure ability severely limited. Aizawa is the guardian of Eri, a little girl who was tortured by Overhaul to make quirk-erasing bullets. Aizawa was asked to watch over her because she has an ability to “rewind” people or objects to earlier states and cannot control it completely yet. Aizawa can stop her with Erasure if necessary. He also has a student, Shinso Hitoshi. Shinso is like Aizawa in that he has a powerful quirk but no physical enhancements. He was in general studies, but Aizawa tutored him in Binding Cloth Style and eventually gifted the boy one of his own binding cloths, which Shinso wears himself. Aizawa stands just over 6ft (1.83m) tall with a slim but muscular build. He has long, black shoulder-length hair that floats when his quirk is active and black eyes that glow green in the manga and red in the anime when using his quirk. He has a large scar under his right eye after the USJ incident and gains a vertical scar a ross the same eye after the Paranormal Liberation War.

He wears an eyepatch over his right eye after losing it. He usually has stubble on his face and chin. His hero costume is a black top and pants that look like a one piece jumpsuit. He wears a utility belt, black boots and a white rope-like cloth called a capture weapon coiled around his neck. He wears yellow goggles over his eyes to make it harder for villains to see who he’s using his quirk on. After losing his right leg, he got a prosthetic to replace it. Aizawa is a very strict and reserved person, with high expectations of his students. He acts mainly by logic and does not believe in the need to always appear clean on oneself, or to filter his words and ideas. He often looks cold, listless, and impatient, putting very little energy into what he does, preferring to take naps in his sleeping bag. He doesn’t always even eat a good meal, as he’s sometimes seen slurping pre-made jelly packets instead. A strict teacher, Aizawa is known to fire students he thinks don't fit in U.A. However, it is revealed that his high dismissal rate is only on paper, he has a habit of bringing back fired students. Shoto only does this to push them up. He can also be rigid and has little tolerance for disobedient behavior. He's not afraid to push his high school students through rigorous training and make them overcome their limits. Aizawa has proven that he can be very talkative and is not shy about expressing his ideas. He is known to lie to his students, manipulating them into giving their best, a technique he describes as "a logical ruse" "a rational deception". Despite his apathetic features, Aizawa cares a lot about his students and doesn't hesitate to give anything to protect them, such as when he saved Tsuyu Asui from being decayed by Tomura even when he was already badly injured. He also showed that he believed in his high school students, and was even confident that Katsuki Bakugo would not go over to the Villains. Recovery Girl also insinuated that during a test, he let himself be captured by Momo Yaoyorozu in order to boost his self-confidence. Named after his quirk, Erasure, Eraser Head can negate usage of the quirk possessed by whomever he makes eye contact with. for as long as he can last without blinking. Blinking will allow the target to use their quirk again; this is why Aizawa carries eye drops with him, as well as many other objects. After losing an eye to Shigaraki in the Paranormal Liberation War arc, he can no longer use Erasure effectively as his control is shaky and his remaining eye can’t keep it active very long.
