   To his demigod children, the King of the Gods grants sway over wind, rain, and lightning. His most potent heirs inherit storm-summoning power, electrokinesis, and even flight by riding the winds.

   Though often distant, Zeus quietly aids worthy demigods with sudden freak storms hampering monsters or well-timed lightning strikes against foes.    Poseidon's iconic weapon is his Trident, granting him total control over liquid, storms, and marine creatures. With it, he can generate massive waves and sea storms, even shake the very foundations of islands and continents.

   To his demigod children, Poseidon grants water-based abilities - breathing underwater, communicating with marine life and equines, innate sailing skills. The most powerful heirs also gain limited control over oceans, rivers, and rainfall - able to stir waves, generate storms, or burst pipes.

   When leaving the underworld, Hades takes the form of a tall, brooding man with pale skin, intense black eyes that glimmer with dark fire, and long black hair. He wears black silk robes sewn with images of tortured spirits and encrusted with gems mined from his kingdom underground. An aura of deathly cold radiates from the Stygian god. His voice is soft yet chilling.

   Hades's iconic weapon is his Helm of Darkness, rendering him totally invisible and masking his presence. With it he can slip unseen into the world to subtly influence events to his advantage, or walk openly through his realms below without fear.

   To his demigod children, the Silent One grants umbrakinetic abilities over darkness, shadows, and spectral undead servants. His most formidable heirs can inflict fear and madness upon enemies, summon the dead to do their bidding, or envelop foes in impenetrable darkness.

   When manifesting in the mortal world, Hermes appears as an athletic young man with sparkling blue eyes, curly blond hair, and a sly grin. He wears a postman’s jacket over casual slim jeans and T-shirts, blending in seamlessly with modern attire.

   Hermes wields winged sandals granting him flight and immense speed. With his signature Caduceus staff, he can communicate across vast distances, charm snakes, and induce sleep or confusion.

   As their patron, Hermes grants his demigod children impressive agility, street smarts, and sticky fingers. The most gifted heirs also gain preternatural thieving capabilities, their father’s silver tongue, and his mastery over travel and trade.

Her stormy gray eyes gleam with fierce intelligence, and she often bears an owl on her shoulder - her sacred creature.

   Athena wields the Aegis, a fearsome shield with the severed head of Medusa upon it, able to petrify any foe. She also carries Nike, the winged goddess of victory, in her hand.

   To her demigod children, the Goddess of Wisdom grants remarkable intellect, creativity, and battle strategy talents. Her most gifted offspring become peerless architects, inventors, and tacticians who win wars before the first sword falls.

    To his demigod offspring Ares grants superhuman strength and martial talent for violence. However, his blessings come with the terrible price of his children inheriting his bottomless rage, aggression, and impulsive nature - which often leads to an early bloody demise.

The scorned Queen of Heaven forbids the gods from aiding them, redirects quest helpers to hinder their path, and inflicts terrible curses of bad luck or madness upon those who catch her eye.     Aphrodite wields two engraved golden girdles enabling her to stimulate irresistible longing or affection in whomever she chooses. She also possesses a scarf imbued with potent romantic magic to bind mortal souls together in undying devotion or jealousy.

His flushed face bears the broken veins of a chronic drinker yet his eyes glint with divine power - inducing giddy hallucinations or violent lunacy among any mortals who dare mock his seemingly unimpressive appearance.
