They are tall, and have a sort of imposing presence. Their eye color can vary, like humans, but reflect a sort of red orange color in the darkness. Pure vampire bloodlines, like the royal family, have the ability to shift into different animals. They are fast and agile, and can move almost undetected. Vampires age slower than humans, most vampires living up to thousands of years. They had technology that humans could only dream of, and medicines that would suggest witchcraft. A vampire turns humans into vampires by having the human drink their blood. In the early times, vampires mingled with humans, but then were persecuted by Christians, being seen as 'unholy'. The vampire withdrew from the rest of the word, but the Christians still persisted in their prosecution. They invaded the vampire's lands, attempting to kill them off in the name of God. This is what caused a conflict between humans and vampires that last hundreds of years. It took many leaders and many lives lost to finally stop the bloodshed.
