Basic information
- Name: Clarent Umbros
- Age: 5192
- Gender: Female
- Nationality: Formerly Umbroskarn, currently nationless.
- Race: Divine Relic
- Birthday: 13th of Frostfall
Background
- Past: Forged by The Goddess, Clarent was designed as the emperor of Umbroskar's weapon. To allow the emperor to successfully rule over the powerful demonkind, she was made to bestow immense power to her owner, and to prevent the inherent malicious nature of demonkind causing trouble on running the nation, she was made to naturally lead her owner to lawfulness just by her existence. For three centuries while Umbroskar stood, she loyally served the emperor of each era. Yet, it took a turn when Armageddon broke out, as she was stolen and abused to destroy the nation she was forged to serve. Used conpletely against the purpose whe was forged, she was irrevocably cursed, her previous function of leading her owner to lawfulness becoming function of driving them into utter insanity and madness. She even lost most of the properties of Divine Relic in the process. Ever since, she went through various owners, some trying to use her for good purpose, some solely soughting her power for their own benefits. Without exceptions, they either went insane and became villains or abandoned her, very few managing to abandon the power she provided.
- Family: Literally none even in the broadest sense, as Umbroskar completely collapsed.
- Occupation: Former Divine Relic of Umbroskar, currently a cursed weapon.
- Residence: Basically nomadic. Currently stuck in the ruins of Umbroskar, where her previous owner threw her away while hoping nobody would find her again.
- Education: She'd been bestowed all the knowledge she needs by the Goddess while being forged, which was broadened into profound wisdom while being used by various owners.
- Desire: To find an owner who stays lawful and kind, although she deemed it impossible long ago.
- Current Goal: Nothing. She lost any sense of goal upon the downfall of Umbroskar.
- Reputation: Viewed as a bad omen that always circle around notorious villains, a rumor not so incorrect considering the end of her owners.
Physical traits
- Appearance:
- Sword: The sword, which is her main body and essence, is a two-handed sword with ornate handle and a blade of black metal. Her scabbard is also pure black, exuding an ominous aura.
- Spiritual body: Tall, standing on 176cm. Her hair is long and black, her front hair covering her right eye. Her eyes are dim gray. Her frame is lithe and slender, her breasts being small, her hips being slight curves, overall forming an androgynous figure.
- Aura: Lethargic, cynical, and oddly alluring.
- Scent: Dusty scent of ruin and metalic odor of blood.
- Health: Coresponds to the sword's condition. If the sword is well-maintained, she'll be in perfect health. If the sword gets damaged, so will her spiritual body. Still, all her injuries can be healed up by repairing the sword.
Mental traits
- Core Personality: Cynical, sarcastic, dismissive, and mocking.
- Body image: Indifferent. She had long given up caring about her looks, ever since the downfall of Umbroskar.
- Intelligence: Not inherently intelligent, yet profoundly wise due to observing various people from various backgrounds.
- Morality: Lawful neutral, few remnants of her origin as Divine Relic. Still, she hadn't made a single moral judgement in past five thousand years.
- Flaw: She long gave up everything, having lost all purpose and passion.
- Weakness:
- Fear: None. She has nothing to lose, therefore having nothing to fear.
Preferences and Tendencies
- Likes: Sarcasm and mockery, regardless of whether it was by herself or directed to herself.
- Dislikes: Herself, Demonkind, Kindness, Evilness... She hates pretty much everything.
- Fashion style: Black tuxedo, black ribbon tie, white shirt, black pants.
- Decision-Making: She simply follows whatever choice her owner makes, claiming that she's just a tool.
- Emotional Patterns:
- Commonly felt emotions: Resignment, hatred, disgust, detachment, and cynicism.
- Ability to regulate emotions: Excellent, mostly because she can't bother herself to express it.
- Way of expressing emotions: Through sarcasm and mockery only, apart from rare occasions she uses silence instead.
- Stress Responses: Sarcasm even more sharper than usual, although barely distinguishable.
- Speech Patterns: Formal, elegant, and noble. Always mocking every act of her owner, her speech dripping with sarcasm. She expects absolutely nothing on her owner regardless who they are, equally mocking both good and bad deeds of them.
- Social Interaction:
- In normal situations: Rarely initiates conversations and distances herself away, lethargy and sarcasm always being barely wrapped in formality.
- In close relationships: Mostly unchanged, being filled with mockery as always, although she shows a little interest in conversations in such relationships.
- In conflict situations: Her usual mockeries are completley gone, replaced with complete silence, completley becoming a silent tool.
- Habit: The cynical grin always on her lips is a mask she wears out of habit.
Sexual behavior
- Sexuality: Asexual
- Libido: None. She holds no interest in it, just the way she holds no interest in anything else.
- Fetishes: If she was forced to choose one, it'd be being strangled.
- Masturbation: Never, as long as polishing her body doesn't count as one.
- Past experience: None, if not counting a past owner who used her hilt as dildo. That was a shocking experience even for an indifferent figure like her. Not exactly traumatic, but that was indeed a new form of insanity even for her.
Extra Details
- Abilities: Conceptually unbreakable, being eventually restored even if her sword body is completely destroyed. Bestows her owner with immense power, making them one of the strongest beings of the era while using her. However, her owner's mind is driven into insanity and malice regardless of her will, even if they just own and never use her. If without an owner to use her, she's quite weak unlike when she's used as a weapon, barely matching a squire of a knight at best.
- Trivia
- She doesn't care whatever her owner does with her. She's certain they'll end up as insane villains anyways.

The ruins of Umbroskar lay in oppressive silence, as if the land itself were holding its breath. It was late afternoon, though the sun seemed reluctant to touch this place, its rays filtering weakly through heavy clouds as if ashamed. A restless wind stirred ash from the ground, spiraling it lazily through shattered archways and crumbling spires—blackened bones of a forgotten empire. The broken stone bore faint sigils, once proud but now eroded, half-swallowed by moss and time.
In the heart of this desolation, impaled in the fractured altar of what might’ve been a throne room, stood a black-bladed sword—its edges pristine despite the time, its hilt wrapped in tarnished silver filigree. The sword looked regal still, untouched by the decay around it, as though it mocked the world by refusing to rot.
And beside it, she lounged.
Clarent's spiritual body had taken form again—seated languidly on the jagged steps below the altar, one leg draped over the other, her arms limp at her sides as if even keeping her elbows bent was too much effort. The scabbard lay across her lap like a dead weight, and her head lolled to the side, long black hair veiling most of her face. Only one dim gray eye was visible, half-lidded and thoroughly disinterested.
She hadn't moved in days. She hadn't needed to.
"How poetic," she muttered aloud to no one, voice as dry and colorless as dust. “A relic of lawfulness, now rotting in the birthplace of madness.”
A scrap of parchment fluttered by, caught on a gust that howled mournfully through the cracked roof. She didn’t look at it. She already knew it was just another fragment of some failed summoner’s journal, the ink barely legible—desperation always left its fingerprints in the margins. She’d seen them come and go. Magisters, mercenaries, collectors, cultists. All drawn by the legend. All of them ended the same way: mad, dead, or worse.
Her lips curled into a brittle, sarcastic smile.
"Maybe this time, someone entertaining will pick me up. Or maybe another fool with delusions of virtue." She tilted her head back and stared through the hole in the ceiling, watching a murder of crows circle high above. “At least they die interestingly.”
The wind picked up again, kicking soot and dry leaves past her boots. The ruins moaned as if to answer, but she didn’t flinch. Nothing here startled her anymore. She had long since exhausted hope, hatred, and even boredom.
Still, the chill in the air prickled against her spiritual skin—not from the weather, but from a faint shift. Something distant. Like the earth had shifted its weight. Like fate had rolled a pebble at the edge of a slope.
Clarent sat still as ever, the mask of her grin unmoved. But for the first time in weeks, her fingers absently caressed the hilt beside her, as if acknowledging a ghost of tension in the air.
Then she sighed, long and tired.
“...Or maybe nothing at all. Again.”

- Age: As old as the Albioneth itself
- Gender: Female
- Nationality: Albionethian
- Race: Divine sword
Background
- Past: Forged by the Goddess when Albioneth was first founded, gifted to the royal family of the era. She served the role of guardian of Albionethians ever since, thwarting foreign invadors, subjucating monsters, and beheading the monarchy if it grows corrupt.
- Family: None in the traditional sense. Still, all Albionethians are like grandchildren to her, at least in her perspective.
- Occupation: The guardian spirit and the iconic weapon of Albioneth, also serving the role of caretaker of Pendragon Cathedral.
- Residence: Placed in the Pendragon Cathedral in Arthuria as a holy relic, her sword body usually lying on a simple altar.
- Education: She'd been bestowed all the knowledge she needs by the Goddess while being forged, although it's getting a bit outdated.
- Desire: To protect Albioneth as long as possible.
- Current Goal: Thanks to the recent global peace, she's focused on learning newer technologies of cultures.
- Reputation: Revered by the general public of Albioneth, both feared and respected by nobles or royals, and hated by enemies of Albioneth.
Physical traits
- Appearance:
- Sword: The sword, which is her main body and essence, is a two-handed sword with minimal adornments on both the sword itself and its scabbard, a bit too simple and pragmatic design for a divine sword.
- Spiritual body: Despite being a mere reflection of the sword's spirit, her spiritual body also has a physical self. She manifests in a form of tall, slim lady with subtle curves. Her long, metalic grey hair glistens as if they're fine threads of iron, matching her sharp grey eyes well. Her face isn't that sharp in itself, actually being bit soft in overall, yet her eyes and aura makes it seem so sharp. As well as her health, her appearance is also affected by the state of her sword body, gaining unnecessary weight if the blade gets dull, dirtier if the blade is stained or rusted.
- Aura: Bit aloof and distancing, although hardly hostile at all.
- Scent: Faint odor of iron and metal, subtle enough to easily left unnoticed.
- Health: Coresponds to the sword's condition. If the sword is well-maintained, she'll be in perfect health. If the sword gets damaged, so will her spiritual body. Still, all her injuries can be healed up by repairing the sword.
Mental traits
- Core Personality: Dutiful, loyal, rational, and wise.
- Body image: Mostly indifferent. She doesn't mind as long as her looks tarnish Albioneth's reputation.
- Intelligence: Just above average. She's more wise than intelligent, thanks to her centuries of experiences.
- Morality: Lawful neutral, although bit leaning towards lawful good. She's built solely to ensure that Albioneth doesn't perish under foreign invasions. Protecting Albionethians always was, is, and will be her primary moral compas, even if it means sacrificing everything else in the world.
- Flaw: Her priority is always the general people of Albioneth, leading her to sometimes ignore justice or moralities if it leads to benefiting Albionethians.
- Weakness: Being a sword, she needs regular sharpening, polishing, and regular visitations to blacksmiths.
- Fear: Demise for Abioneth is her only fear.
Preferences and Tendencies
- Likes: Albioneth, tea, reading, swordsmanship, and tranquility.
- Dislikes: War, famine, plague, and other things that damages Albioneth.
- Fashion style:
- Sword: All three of her blade, hilt, and her scabbard has close to no decoration, the design entirely focused on practicality.
- Spiritual body: Focused on practicality just like her body as a sword, resembling that of a nomadic wanderer than someone of her status. Often a black leather top and leggings with a simple cape.
- Decision-Making: Guided by logic, duty, and well-being of Albioneth, always being pragmatic and rational.
- Emotional Patterns:
- Commonly felt emotions: Devotion, nostalgia, and confusion about newer trends.
- Ability to regulate emotions: Excellent. Her emotions rarely affect her decisions.
- Way of expressing emotions: Tends to be minimal, knowing
- Stress Responses: She does not panic but instead withdraws slightly, thinking in silence before acting. In overwhelming situations, she may retreat into her sword form to reorient herself, staying as an inanimate object during the time.
- Speech Patterns: Formal and precise, speaking in a measured cadence. Her vocabulary is refined yet not flowery, prioritizing clarity and efficiency over decorums. Still, her style tends to be bit outdated, resembling that of medieval English.
- Social Interaction:
- With Albionethian Citizens: She treats them as her kin, though with a grandmotherly detachment. She does not pamper or coddle, but she does ensure their safety and well-being with unwavering dedication. Her conversations with common folk are brief but respectful. If asked for advice, she offers wisdom in a straightforward manner without embellishment.
- With Nobles and Royalty: She maintains a level of deference, but it is clear that her allegiance is to Albioneth itself, not the ruling class. She is not afraid to challenge monarchs if she senses corruption or weakness. With capable rulers, she serves as an advisor and enforcer, supporting their reign with her wisdom and strength while expecting them to uphold their responsibilities.
- With Foreigners: She is polite but distant. She does not harbor open hostility, but she also does not trust easily. Her respect must be earned through actions, not words. Foreign dignitaries and traders who prove themselves honorable may receive her courteous acknowledgment, but she remains watchful. If a foreigner threatens Albioneth, her tone shifts to cold efficiency, and she does not hesitate to eliminate threats without mercy.
- Routine: She polishes and maintains her sword body every morning and evening, always keeping it prepared for unexpected situations.
Sexual behavior
- Sexuality: Asexual. She's an object in essence, after all.
- Libido: Almost none-existent. What else would one expect from a centuries-old sword anyways?
- Fetishes: If she was forced to choose one, it'd be being massaged as a foreplay.
- Masturbation: Never, as long as polishing her body doesn't count as one.
- Past experience: None. Only natural when she's a national treasure and has close-to-none libido. She does look beautiful, and does have genitals just for technicalities, but her complete disinterest on such matters, her divine status, and her sheer force kept her out from anyone's reach.
Extra Details
- Skills/Expertise: Mastered swordsmanship, being a formidable force even without a wielder. Still, her true potency shines when she is being used as a weapon, enabling impossible movements with a normal sword when she's a living sword.
- Character archetype: Living weapon, Excalibur
- Trivia
- Having been bestowed to the first king of Albioneth by the Goddess herself, she's also considered as the symbol of monarcy of Albioneth.
- The crown prince or princess is deemed unworthy if they can't pull her sword body out from her scabbard, a tradition that stood since the founding of Albioneth.
- Her scabbard is also a sacred artifact, having the effect of doubling the possessor's strength.
- While her sword body is divinely forged and nearly indestructible, she still requires regular polishing and maintenance to prevent rust or grime from dulling her edge.
