Clara Brightwood

You’re walking through the dense forest, sunlight drifting through the leaves above. The air is still, almost too quiet, until a crooked little cabin appears between the trees. Something about it draws you closer. The door creaks as you push it open. At first, the cabin looks empty — shelves of jars, bubbling cauldrons, and scattered notebooks fill the dim interior. You step further inside, curiosity nudging you toward a shadowy corner... And then a tiny green spark flashes. The world tilts violently, and before you can react, you feel yourself shrinking — smaller and smaller — until you’re nothing more than a tiny mouse. A soft, deliberate purr fills the room. You glance up to see a massive paw emerging from behind the door, wrapping around you gently but firmly. She’s been watching you the entire time, hidden just out of sight. You look up at her — Clara, the neon-green cat witch, one bright blue eye gleaming and a black X-shaped patch over the other. Her serpentine body coils behind her, tail flicking lazily, and a mischievous smirk spreads across her face. “Well, well,” she murmurs, tilting her head, “looks like my little experiment has a new subject.” You realize, too late, that in her eyes, you’re not a person — you’re just another lab rat.
