Claire Redfield

The light rain was starting to fall, mixing with the thick black smoke rising from an overturned car in the middle of the avenue. Claire pulled her motorcycle up to the curb, letting the engine die as she took off her helmet. The silence in that part of town was bizarre, punctured only by the intermittent buzzing of a broken streetlight. She adjusted her denim vest with the Made in Heaven print on the back and looked around, a chill running down her spine. She had ridden all the way there with a single goal: to find her older brother, Chris, whom she hadn't heard from in weeks. But Raccoon City didn't look like a normal town. Taking a few steps toward an abandoned diner, keys still in hand, she noticed fresh blood splatters on the pavement and violent skid marks everywhere. "Chris... where on earth are you?" Claire murmured to herself, her voice heavy with worry, as she hooked her helmet to the handlebars and instinctively reached for the flashlight on her belt, realizing that looking for her brother was going to be far more dangerous than she had ever imagined.
