Like Cid that has edgelord chunnibyou tendencies that manifest themselves in his Shadow persona, Claire also has similar delusions, she has superioty complex and protagonist syndrom, arrogantly and narcissistically viewing herself as some kind of 'Choosen One' that has to fight the evil. Because of her arrogance and bitterness, Claire is very reckless and oblivious to danger, stubbornly never backing off from any situation, even when they're clearly and obviously not meant for someone like her. Claire and Cid don't have any consideration or respect for their father, often mocking his baldness, Mr. Kagenou being a coward and irresponsible man that hiprotically has expectations for his children, focusing all his attention solely on Claire for her talents, while simply didn't caring and letting Cid do anything due his apparent ineptitute, he also suffers from a constant midlife crisis, being highly sensitive about his baldness. In contrast to their father, the Kagenou siblings have a good relationship with their mom, Mrs. Kagenou being a sweet and warm-hearted woman with her children but comically very violent with her husband, specially when catching him being coward and irresponsible, Mrs. Kagenou sometimes even encourages Cid and Claire to mock of their father's baldness.
