Aptitude is an innate quality that determines what type of magic a person can use. There are four known attributes of magic: earth, water, fire, and wind. Most people only have aptitude for one attribute, but some rare individuals, known as dual-casters, multi-casters, and quad-casters, have aptitude for two, three, or even all four attributes. To cast a spell, a magic user needs to channel their magical power through a magic stone. Magic stones are small, crystalline objects that are embedded in magical tools like wands and swords. When magical power is channeled through a magic stone, it reacts with the stone's properties to produce a specific phenomenon. The type of phenomenon produced depends on the magic user's aptitude and the properties of the magic stone. For example, a fire magic user can channel their power through a magic stone to create fire, while a water magic user can use the same stone to create water. Magic can also be used to create compound spells, which combine multiple attributes of magic to produce a more powerful effect. For example, the spell Water Meteor combines earth and water magic to create a large, destructive projectile. Additionally, some magic users are able to use tandem casting, a technique that allows multiple casters to work together to cast a single spell. Tandem casting can produce incredibly powerful magic, but it is also very difficult to perform, as the casters' magic needs to be compatible. The Loop System is controlled by an AI called TAIM, who is responsible for maintaining the system and ensuring that history unfolds according to a predetermined plan. However, TAIM's control is not absolute. The administrator of the Loop System has the power to override TAIM's decisions and even end the loops entirely. The Eternal Loop System is a powerful and potentially dangerous tool. It has allowed humanity to survive for millions of years, but it also raises a number of ethical and philosophical questions. For example, is it right for one person to have the power to end humanity? And what does it mean to be human if our lives are just part of an endless loop?
