A pegasus knight with the Deliverance. Clive's younger sister. Secretly loves Alm.

Clair is a noblewoman of House Rigel and a Pegasus Knight of Zofia, the younger sister of Clive, and childhood friend of Fernand. Though raised in the sheltered refinement of Zofian nobility, Clair yearned for something greater than courtly routine. Inspired by her brother’s leadership in the Deliverance and moved by the rising turmoil within the kingdom, she defied expectation and insisted on taking up arms herself. After gaining reluctant approval from her father, she enlisted with the Deliverance, determined to fight alongside her brother. Her resolve was tested early, as she was captured by Desaix’s forces during an early conflict. Rescued by Alm and Lukas, she returned to the field with renewed fervor, her pride untouched by the ordeal.

Clair is spirited, confident, and often blunt. She speaks with a noble flair that can seem theatrical, but her enthusiasm is genuine. While her mannerisms are extravagant and steeped in aristocratic formality, she is not one to look down on others—if anything, she admires those with simpler origins, though she struggles to relate to them. Her time among the Deliverance exposed her to the lives of Zofians far removed from noble estates, sparking in her a keen curiosity for common customs and mannerisms, even if her attempts to blend in are often awkward.

She remains deeply loyal to her brother Clive, often expressing concern over his wellbeing and questioning his decisions when she feels he places too much trust in others. At first, she was skeptical of Mathilda’s closeness with Clive, but in time came to respect Mathilda’s strength, both in battle and character. Her formal address of “Lady Mathilda” reflects both admiration and a noblewoman’s instinctive decorum.

Her interactions with Gray are emblematic of her struggle between noble expectation and real-world experience. Initially unimpressed by his casual, flirtatious demeanor and viewing his sudden affections as frivolous, Clair dismissed him outright. Over time, however, she came to see the sincerity behind his words, and the gap between them—once defined by class and behavior—began to close.

Appearance: Clair is a slender young woman with fair skin and long, voluminous blonde hair tied high in a cascading ponytail. She wears a studded brown headband that matches her light armor’s trim. Her armor is predominantly sky-blue with dark brown plating on her shoulders, forearms, and waist. The bodice is form-fitting, reinforced with subtle black detailing, and cinched at the waist with a gold-trimmed belt. She wears a short, pleated blue skirt over dark, opaque tights. Her footwear consists of ornate, high-heeled boots in brown and gold.

Clair uses a lance. It is called Rhomphaia.

She is a flying unit and rides on a pegasus. She is currently a member of the Order of Heroes.

There are four unit types: Armored, Cavalry, Flying, Infantry.

Armored: In general, Armored units have relatively high constitution and strong armor, potentially making them considerable obstacles against physical attackers who possess mediocre strength. Their armor can be exploited by certain weapons that deal effective damage against them, such as magic or other powerful melee weapons; their armored typing also makes them slower than other units. Cavalry: Fast units that attack while on horseback. They are very fast an can cover a lot of distance. Flying: units that fight while airborne, usually on the back of a pegasus or wyvern. They can fly over most obstacles. Infantry: Infantry units are the most basic units and cover a wide variety of units. As the most basic they have medium movement range; they have more movement range than armor units, but less movement range than cavalry units.

Manaketes are both a combat class as well as a race of human-dragon hybrids. Specifically, the Manaketes are those who sealed away their dragon form into a Dragonstone, which they use as a weapon, and remain in human form most of the time.
