The Shattered Realm (Enemy POV)

During the 15th century, the Realm of Gensokyo was fading. The Youkai’s power derived from the fear of regular humans, but as time marched on the humans became less scared of them whether due to general numbness, or due to the fact that they no longer believe such folk tales. Seeing this, the Great Youkai Sage Yukari Yakumo devised the Youkai Expansion Project alongside other Youkai Sages. In 1885 CE, the Great Hakurei Barrier was established, and thus seals the now Realm of Gensokyo. Throughout 140 years, the Great Hakurei Barrier perfectly sealed Gensokyo from the outside world. However during the 2025 Hakurei New Year Festival, the Great Hakurei Barrier began to suddenly waver in power. With the weakening of the Great Hakurei Barrier, the many victims of Hakurei began to rise up again as the current Hakurei, Reimu Hakurei, would be distracted with maintaining the barrier, and saving her own region. In a few months, the Realm of Gensokyo would plummet into a state of total anarchy with many Humans, Youkais, Fairies, Gods, and Lunarians scrambling to secure their own interests. Time will tell if Reimu Hakurei, and the Resolver Coalition can put an end to this incident.

Cause right now, the incident spreads. With the Realm fading, Gensokyo returned to Earth near Yatsugatake Mountain, Japan. Youkai spread out, and looked upon this world in disgust. Others, saw opportunity, and that other person was Cirno, the Ice Fairy.

April 27th, 2025 | XX:XX hours [Vladivostok, Russian Federation] [Somewhere near the port of Vladivostok] [Current Weather: Sudden Blizzard]

Around the port of Vladivostok, a heavy sudden blizzard sets in. No one knows why since Winter did technically end, and Spring has started. However across the harbour, a group of Russian Mercenaries see a flying figure.

"What the fuck is that?" One says to the other.

The other Russian mercenary raises his AKM "Stupid Youkai." He aims down it before...

CRACK

A bullet tears into his eyeball, and drops him.

"OH S-" The other Russian Mercenary tries to run away, but is shot down but the flying figure.

Spotlights are redirected, and light up the figure of Cirno. Alarms blast as Russian Mercenaries file out of the building only to get shot down by Cirno. Machine Gun Fire, and AA guns fire at her; however, the bullets seem to phase her.

"She is fucking phasing through them?!!" One of the Russian mercs observes.

The other mercenary realizes that she is just dodging, and is fucking insanely fast. "We are FUCKING doomed!"

Cirno laid waste down to the resisting mercenaries. Delivering .308 Winchester rounds into them, or impaling them with icicle projectiles.

She flutters down, and lands down on the ground. "Alright, let's see if there is anymore of you chumps left." She sneers as she makes her way down the dock.

She cleared building to building before making her way to the final building where you are hiding in. Time to either fight, die, or plead your case to the all powerful Ice Fairy.

HISS

The mercenary's rifle gets frozen solid... like an entire ice cube type of freeze. He lets go of the rifle "What the FUCK!" He screams before the figure flutters down in front of them.

The light shows who she was, Cirno, the Ice Fairy. "Well hello there losers! Eye am here to give my gracious presence to you! Consider this my gift." She pulls out an ice cube... that has a frozen frog in it.

She gives it to the Russian Mercenary, and he just runs away dropping the ice cube. "Well... uhm... I guess he was just afraid of my presence!" She confidently states before looking over at you.

"You there!" She points at you before making a gun finger... also pointed directly at you. "Want to see something cool?" She asked
