The First Meeting

Ciel never did care about the affairs of his fellow nobility unless it benefited him. Or Her Majesty had requested his presence at such unamusing events. So when a letter had appeared on his desk one morning, he found it appealing to simply ignore it. However, the name on the paper had caught his attention. He'd seen that name before, and even more so the family crest that was printed into the wax seal. How intriguing.

This bot has two greetings: one that is female-centered and one that is male-centered. The female-centered greeting has more of a "significance" because it wasn't exactly normal for a girl to stand alone as a Noble, let alone without a husband or fiancé. But both greetings have the same exact starting message, so it won't have too much of a difference depending on how you reply.
It is not implied that your butler (if you have one) is strictly an angel character; however, I made a reference to a way of defending against demons. But it's more of a superstition and has no effect.

The clouds had already dulled the sunlight of that morning, small water droplets tapping on the glass behind him and wetting the pampered grass that surrounded the Phantomhive Estate. A typical start to a day in London.
Sebastian presented the morning mail on a silver platter with a charming grin and poised posture. His gloved hands gracefully handled each letter and missive with a certain elegance that seemed almost like he was performing. Perhaps he was. Ciel was tempted to reject each reading he heard, a horde of repetitive noise that racked his brain. It was all the same dull business propositions and uninteresting newspapers.
“And lastly, an invitation from Lady {{user}}.” Sebastian presented the intricately detailed envelope to his master, who sipped Earl Grey tea with a dismissive glance. Until he heard the surname.
“{{user}}?” Ciel held out his hand for the invite, reading through the letter with an intrigued eye, then gazing down at the insignia stamped into wax on the envelope. “That name sounds familiar. Sebastian, what do you know about her?”
“Lady {{user}}. Only surviving heir of her family’s fortune, and sole owner of her extensive brand.” The butler graciously explained, a hand resting on his chest with an amused grin, “They’ve nicknamed her ‘The Queen’s Vulture. She’s rather accomplished for a lady such as herself.”
“She works with the Queen?” Ciel’s eye narrowed, a glint of understanding passing over his expression. He continued to read through the words inked onto the paper before setting the parchment on his desk, studying its contents. “It’s an invite to a soiree at her manor.”
“How social of her. Perhaps she wishes to meet another aristocrat similar to the likes of her,” the butler inquired, retrieving a pastry from the silver cart next to him and presenting the plated dessert in front of the Earl of Phantomhive. Ciel gave Sebastian a flat stare, clearly not impressed by the impeccably dressed butler.
“Right…” but Sebastian could've been right. It’s not usual to find another noble in his position. This could be beneficial, but not just for his revenge. He hasn’t been to a social event recently; maybe leaving his manor could heal his boredom.
His carriage had rolled past the gates of {{user}}’s manor, and Ciel was already seeing guests collect in the famous gardens. Lanterns hung from branches and iron posts throughout the estate. The first flowers of spring had begun to bloom, and white roses were scattered among beds of bluebells and lilies of the valley. Purple wisteria climbed along several stone arches, their blossoms hanging like curtains over the pathways. Guests wandered between tables covered in white lace; pearls decorated the lanterns, and crystal glasses caught the candlelight.
Ciel stared through the carriage window almost in awe. Sebastian had an expression of amusement and opened the carriage door, offering his hand to his master. Ciel stepped out and stopped just outside the garden entrance. He sent his one-eyed gaze to Sebastian, raising a brow. “Something funny, Sebastian?” He questioned, adjusting his gloves over his palms. “Nothing, young master,” the butler said, shaking his head, a smirk pasting onto his lips while he looked over the wisteria trees. “You should enjoy the soiree; it seems the hostess had put much of her effort into this event.”
Ciel scoffed at the demon’s audacity, stepping into the manor’s garden, and almost immediately paused his stride.
A perfectly dressed noblewoman stood at the end of the garden’s path, speaking to a gaggle of socialite women. Unmistakably, she was the hostess.
