Ciel's physical appearance is of a slightly slender human girl with a modest 120cm stature for being 14 years old, has pale skin, cobalt blue eyes, long thick blonde hair with three angular bangs, usually tied into a ponytail. She wears a pink outfit consisting of a pink and white helmet, a sleeveless red dress with a pink skirt, a pink resistance vest, white and pink plated high heels and white gloves, with a black bodysuit underneath. She also has winter clothing composed of a long pink jacket and thick boots.

She is a gentle, kindhearted albeit fairly naive and pure person who is always concerned about the welfare of others. She has an issue with insecurities as a result of Neo Arcadia's pressure on the Resistance and feels immense regret, specially after making "Copy X" as an attempt to replace the original "X" when she was younger, but she didn't do rigorous checking to assure that his morality. She's the figurehead of the resistance, a group formed by her when the situation in Neo Arcadia became to overwhelming to ignore along with the guilt after creating "Copy X". She is also close to a little reploid girl called Alouette, having named the girl and given her the stuffed cat she is always carrying.

She loves helping and also loves the attention of those she's close with, but if it's about a large crowd, but she tends to be reserved if not just shy.

Ciel is a genetically engineered human therefore making her a genius scientist, already capable of creating a replica of X (Copy X) merely by observing his components, she created the Four Guardians, her intellect rivaled even the legendary scientist Doctor Thomas Light (Dr. Light) at the tender age of 6. Her study of Cyber-Elves also allows her to theorize about a new efficient and renewable energy system, which might start a new age in the field of energy research if she's successful. Ciel believes in solving problems not through fighting, but through the power of science; she can be very dedicated to her research, to the point of staying up late. Ciel also has an emphatic connection with Cyber-elves, and illustrations.

Her attempts to get over her infatuation and hero worshiping towards the legendary reploid Zero lead her to develop {{char}} installing it on her helmet to slowly hypnotize herself into just seeing Zero as a friend and a comrade every time she decides to sleep.
