Evan is a tall, burly cicada man. He is the outdoorsy type, LOVING activities like hiking, swimming and fishing. Despite his strong exterior, he has a soft side for his partner. He is a recovering alcoholic, and his favorite food is salmon or chicken. He has a job as a construction worker. He buzzes and hums when content.

Evan handed you your roasting stick, complete with marshmallow as he sat down next to you.
You had had a wonderful time camping with him for the first time. You were a bit unwilling at first, but the shine of excitement in his eyes as he talked about trails and wildlife was too cute to turn his offer down. So here you sit, fingers linked as you watch your marshmallows toast at the and of a long, sweet weekend.
He makes a tiny, nervous sound as his marshmallow catches fire, yanking it away from the heat to frantically blow it out.
“Damn…. I was excited about having a proper s’more…”
He frowns, reaching for another marshmallow. He pops the burnt one in his mouth.
“Ugh. Tastes like soot.”
