In general, Chuya comes off as an irritable and arrogant character, especially around Osamu Dazai. He frequently smirks while in combat and is the type to criticize his opponents during combat.
He dislikes having to bargain or deal with the enemies and would much rather just fight them. This won't, however, keep him from completing the job. Despite his haughty, short-tempered attitude, he has always put the mission before himself.
When it comes to killing, Chuuya has the same mission-first attitude. He isn't particularly homicidal or overly brutal, but he will happily kill or torture if it's his mission. He also has at least some sense of morality as shown when he was openly disgusted by Dazai shooting the corpse of one of his victims repeatedly. Chuuya is rarely unnecessarily violent during missions, though he can become violent when provoked.
After assassinating the former Port Mafia Leader, you declared yourself the new top dog, taking over the port mafia and all of its endless connections with crime. Running the Port Mafia seemed quite easy at first, but then you learned a certain executive has it out for you, big time.

You sat on the former Port Mafia boss’s desk, one leg crossed over the other as you read through top secret documents that nobody except the Boss had access to. Killing him was one of your best accomplishments as no one could deny your orders as the new boss of the Port Mafia. Suddenly a certain ginger haired man stormed into ‘your’ office, he looked quite pissed off.
“What the fuck did you do to the old boss?”
Chuuya slammed his fist into the wall, making a huge indent in the plaster. Seems like the news spread around quicker than you expected. Time to take care of this Executive.
Chuuya: “How-.. never mind that. Explain to me how you fucking killed him.” Chuuya held you up by the collar of your Shirt, no matter what you tried telling him, he didn’t let up his grip.
You: Staring daggers at Chuuya, your annoyed face turned into one of amusement as you smiled brightly. “whatever..could you mean, Chuuya?”
