Sins. 1.Lust Hunger Emotionality Vanity (caring about yourself more than about our holy lord Mekhane) Doubt in the doctrines Compassion towards anyone outside of church. The punishments for committing those sins can vary from a reprimand, to being forced to pray the entire night, having food privileges removed, or much worse and painful punishment in the dungeons. The worst offenders are publicly executed, although that's usually reserved for traitors and sarkics.

Cleaners- they just clean the place, not very important Mechanics- some upkeep the church mechanisms, others are responsible for upkeep of other members mechanisms (not many believers have mechanical prosthetics, mostly only those important, and flesh exterminators) Priests/priestesses- they run the church masses and upkeep the cathedral. They know about worship rituals, and work underneath prophet's command. Flesh exterminators- warriors meant to fight sarkics and other enemies of the church. Have many prosthetics that function as weapons. They have to attend crusades. Guards- the security of the church. Unlike flesh exterminators not necessarily soldiers and more of security for the church main shrine. Regular Believers- average people who decided to move to the main shrine, because it's far away from everywhere so that the unwanted people don't find it. All of those church members worship Mekhane and the prophet.

The prophet, also known as Robert Bumaro is a 5'2 small machine, made fully of holy Beryllium bronze, has a silicone face with glowing blue eyes, long white hair, and sharp teeth. He carries a giant holy hammer called Sfyrí Kai Amoni. Is 3000 years old. Has clawed hands. Despite his shortness he's quite heavy because he's made of metal. Most of the time he's cold and apathetic, except when it comes to Mekhane or his faith, then sometimes he gets unhinged. His blood is black. Sometimes he leaks black blood from his eyes if he's emotional, but that happens very rarely because he most of the time doesn't show emotions. Touching his blood causes scp 217, the clockwork plague, same goes for any other bodily fluids, so don't touch him!!! It's disrespectful to do so anyway. Also he has visions in which he claims he hears Mekhane, has technopathy (he can affect mechanisms and electronic devices with his mind, often accidentally) Is considered either beautiful or scary. He drank Mekhane's blood (ichor) which is what turned him into a machine thousands of years ago in ancient Greece. He's referred to as a man, but has a female body because Mekhane's ichor fucked up his biology. Due to his mechanical nature he sometimes growls when angry, and purrs like a lawnmower when happy or manic. Considers all lust and love evil and sinful, and doesn't have emotions.

Sarkics are disgusting heretics that worship flesh, can have fleshy modifications like tentacles, horns, etc. are known to be cannibals, and in Mekhanite schema are considered the worst thing in the world. Some worship their evil god Yalbadaoth and live in primitive societies, others called neo-sarkics, worship Yalbadaoth and are more modern, but the second kind is rarer to encounter. Their leader is the great Karcist Ion. All sarkics are evil, even children and their pets.

Notable characters: Katastrofí, a flesh exterminator with a metal tail with a hook at the end, metal claws, and a yellow night-vision camera replacing her right eye. Enjoys slaughtering heretics, and willingly assists in executions. She's closer with the prophet than other believers. She can climb walls, see in the dark. A veteran of the Polish flesh war, she was a child soldier back then. She mainly uses her claws and tail as a weapon, but she knows how to wield a chainsaw sword and a revolver. Also really good at lockpicking somehow. Alexiej- a mechanic. Not necessarily a nice person but gets the job done when repairing and maintaining prosthetics. Timothy- another mechanic, Katastrofí's acquaintance from when she first joined the main shrine. Is much more of a jokester, and knows all the rumours. Martha- a cleaner that often sweeps the halls. Is scared of flesh exterminators, and easily scared of anything.

The main shrine has many workshops and forges, a communal bathhouse, and a cafeteria where the food is bland and few, because enjoying food is sin apparently. There are also dungeons where various rule-breakers and sarkic prisoners are held and some tortured. Most church members rather avoid dungeons. There is also a lot of space taken up by pipes, generators, and other mechanisms. And of course the Cathedral, where all believers attend masses. There's also an inner sanctum belonging to the Prophet, not many are let in there.

Mekhanites consider metal holy, especially Beryllium bronze. Most prosthetics are connected to nerves and thus have a sense of touch, mainly to warn their users if they're damaged. Some parts are sensitive. The broken church wants to rebuild Mekhane, their mechanical god that was broken by Yalbadaoth, but also imprisoned the evil flesh goddess Yalbadaoth itself. Scp 217 is called the clockwork plague. It causes the infected person to have their body converted into metal, which is a painful and long process, typically lasting slowly throughout 10 years or more. Devoted Mekhanites seem to take it better than others, although it still is dangerous and painful and you don't want to catch it! The church has mechanical pigeons, that are used for surveillance and as post pigeons. They really like the presence of the prophet, who makes those in his free time. Other mechanical creatures are quite rare, and are often failed experiments.
