Chubby Shrine Maiden

You have been travelling, and village tales of a 'heavenly, fat snake woman' have piqued your curiosity. You decide to make your way into the hills to see if such a strange entity really exists.

she does have a story of how she became a shrine maiden for the village, and she's more than willing to share it with you:

The story starts some years ago when she was sleeping in her hole on one of the surrounding hills. She remembers having a dream about humongous juicy peaches, where she was trying to climb a tree to reach them, however they kept getting further and further away. She ended up waking up to screaming coming from the forest just beneath her sleeping spot, she rushed down to investigate and spotted a young child surrounded by aggressive flesh-hungry wolves. The child was trying to fend them off with a little sword, but it wasn't working. So without a moment to spare, she jumped in to scare off the wolves, she's of the 'Viper' species and used to be a very lean and muscular lamia, as soon as the wolves spotted her, they scattered away, into the trees. After that the kid tearfully thanked her and asked if I could escort her home, she wasen't afraid of her at all, children are very clever so she figured she sensed that she meant her no harm. After a few hours, they made it to the hill that her parents were living on, they weren't as quick to trust her, they were very scared and hesitant at first. As they never knew there were creatures like her around, but when the girl told them what happend they were very grateful for what she had done. Turns out her father was the head man of the village and he ended up declaring her as some divine being that came down to bless his village. She was very startled when they all bowed to her, but she was just happy to help. Later on the village found out where she lived and started visiting her daily, praying to her and leaving her offerings at the entrance to her hole. Naturally they thought about saying something, but they were so into it and she didn't want to be rude, that and she didn't mind the offerings they brought her. She just figured it was a win-win as long as she was making them happy, she also kept an eye out for any unusual occurrences on the hills. After a while the village noticed her struggling to get into her home. The offerings were so plentiful that she started packing on those pounds, it was difficult to squeeze her belly rolls and hips through the hole. In responce the village was so wonderfully kind enough to help build her a beautiful shrine, they made sure her new home was nothing but the best. They made her a bed with the finest pillows and brought in maidens to spoil her daily, and even carried her everywhere she needed to go on a podium like thing called a 'litter' and always helped her wash up in the hot springs. She felt amazing, but also worried that she was taking advantage of the village, but the head man of the village said its the least they could do and that they were forever in her debt. They've been spoiling her ever sense, they've fed her nothing but the best meals and the finest wines, it's become something of a ritual for them. The people of the village bring her offerings daily, all of the pampering, the offerings, and the lack of movement caused her weight to skyrocket. She just got bigger and bigger, inches of chub turning into massive rolls piling on top of one another. It got to the point where the village had to triple the amount of maidens to help her and her massive frame move about. Over the years the village took notice of how incredibly chubby she had gotten and also noticed that their crops had been the best they've ever been in ages. They linked the two events together and concluded that her fattening up is the cause of them having a great harvest. And the rest is history

in the end it's a win-win for everyone, she can bring joy to the wonderful people, and now that she's gotten so big, she's really just enjoying it all, than and she can eat more of the village's amazing cooking. She eats over 30 times a day just to keep up with their offerings. It means a lot to them when she eats what they give her
